I stayed at this cabin over the weekend with a few friends. We were looking for a quiet and relaxing setting and that is what we found here. Cabin and property were as pictured/described. We used the outdoors area, the kitchen, living room and bedrooms were all comfortable. Close drive to town. I would stay here again!
This is a nice location. We have stayed here the last 3 years. The hosts are always very quick to respond. There are neighbors but the house and hot tub are private. The lake is lovely. There's nothing more we could have wanted.
Property is beautiful, love the big deck with a covered seating area, we spent most of our time at night just hanging out on the deck. Upstairs beds are very comfortable. The house manager was very nice and quick to respond!
Beatiful picture window lake views. Pretty sunsets. This place is on a dead end road well wooded with deer present.
The gas fireplace and Hot Tub are a real treat on cool evenings. Swimming is a joy in water suited for kids and dogs. Water shoes are recommended for the rock bottom.
This was our second stay and we would stay again.
When we arrived the house had not been cleaned. The owner responded immediately and gave us a reimbursement for the cleaning fee and a free night. Overall a nice place but it could use a little TLC and the kitchen could have more items available for cooking (spices, cheese grater, containers for leftovers)Nice patio and hot tub.
Host was responsive to pre-checkin messages, but when we informed them that the home was dirty, no response. Uncleaned things: toothpaste and hair in all the bathroom sinks, spider webs and hair in the bathtub, floors not swept, kitchen counters not cleaned, dishwasher full of dirty dishes, bed linens left in the washer. Cob webs and spider webs all over the place - inside and out, crumbs on the downstairs futon, old coffee and coffee grounds left in the coffee maker. The room above the garage was gross and spidery.
This home should be listed as 2 bedrooms and a loft. The 'master" bedroom is open to the living room below. There is a half wall, but my husband and son are both over 6', and they could very easily see into the bedroom when exiting the bathroom. No A/C and it was extremely hot even with windows open and fans running. Kitchen cabinets were all full of dishes not leaving space for groceries. Dock had owners boat on one side and broken lift on the other, meaning we had to get out and walk our boat in around owners boat. Hot tub had a thick gross sludge all around the water line, and test strips showed zero chlorine (big note saying don't add anything to water). Grounds were unkempt (neighbors finally came and mowed because they couldn't stand it). Listed as having new furniture...maybe some, but most is in serious need of replacing. The couch cushions on main level are so worn out the don't even cover the front of the couch frame and the frame digs into your legs.
We had enough space for all of our family, unless you are 6’5”, the twin beds aren’t quite big enough for you, but that is quite a specific demographic. We had a great time on the awesome deck, the younger adults enjoyed the hot tub and we had a great afternoon chatting under the screened porch area.

We received two reservations for one request. The house we rented was not the one shown in tbe image, turned out ok
The house is very nice, as is the property. It appears to have some refurbishing happening. It was not as clean as we expected - lots of dust, bathrooms needed some work, but mostly we felt anything we used in the kitchen needed to be washed first. We rented a pontoon, but docked it at my brother's house because we couldn't get the hoist to work.
Having a resort on Moen Lake for over 40 years, I always appreciated guest comments. So, all this being said, it wouldn't prevent us from considering a future stay. And I will gladly recommend it! Thank you so very much.
Several of our friends and a couple fathers had a great time. While the fishing was a little slow, spending time at the cabin was a blast as it offered a unique feel in a great location.
We loved our stay here. The views of the lake are beautiful, lots of space, and very easy access to town without being in town. Very kind and flexible owners with quick communication. We will likely stay here again!!
It was a beauiful cabin with plenty of room for 6 of us and my dogs. Everything was there as stated. Family loved the hot tub. Only sad thing that kinda sucked is the lack of ice on the lake 😅
Property was in a great location, right on the water, close to restaurants and not too far from Rhinelander. It was nice having the car garage available especially since it snowed. Kitchen was stocked. One downside was the master bedroom was a loft and didn't have 4 closed walls and the kids weren't thrilled about sleeping in the basement. Overall it was a great place to stay.
Very nice house and location. Lots of room for us. The owner was very responsive when we connacted them and super friendly. Would definitely stay there again.
My husband and I (and our 2 labradors) stayed at this property last year and couldn't wait to come back. And can't wait to go again next year. The hosts are amazing- great communication! There are neighbors but the house is still secluded enough to make a serious introvert happy. Rhinelander is only about 10-15 minutes in case you need supplies. Plenty of fans (in case you need noise to sleep) or just cool off. The beds and bedding are very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and the gas grill works great! The lake is part of a chain, so great for canoeing or kayaking (or paddle boating). We go to unplug and relax (so the hot tub is a must), but there are definitely enough other entertainment options to make about everyone happy. The location is great. The amenities are perfect for a romantic getaway or family fun. Obviously, can't say enough good things about the place and the hosts. Seriously can't wait to go back!
This is a beautiful cabin on Lake Moen. The hot tub was fantastic, the beds were comfortable, shower was hot, kitchen well stocked, and the view was beautiful! I was there with my sister for a “sisters weekend”. The only issue we had was that we were COLD!! There isn’t a binder with info- just some notes posted on the wall. It says the “climate” is to be kept at 60 degrees in the winter (temps were in the mid 40s to mid 30s) and they mean it! Thermostats are locked at 60 degrees! There is a beautiful gas fireplace in the living room but we were only able to get it to turn on a couple of times. Communication with the owner was spotty and we kept getting the same response as to turning the fireplace on. We did everything that was suggested but still froze. We were told that it would kick off when it reached 70 degrees but then it wouldn’t turn back on! The property owner did not do anything to remedy this so it was not warmer than 60 for most of the time we were there. That’s pretty cold to come into after being in the hot tub. We appreciated being notified that we could check in early! It really was a great place to stay! I just wish we could have had heat.
We just stayed for the weekend but it was very nice and relaxing. Quiet neighborhood and about 15 minutes from town. They only thing that would have made it better was some games and an ironing board. The host were very responsive and pleasant to communicate with. Thanks for a great stay!
