Disappointing

Very excited upon arrival on Saturday. Pool was cloudy and had debris but hoped it would clear up. Could not even see the steps. No lights outside on either porch. Had to grill in the dark. Had to get the gas bottle for the grill filled before we could cook and after being told it was a charcoal grill before we got there. Manager text on Monday to tell me someone would be there Tuesday to repair the screens on the porches. Manager said he would not be there long. He was there everyday working for 4 days and left ladders and equipment each day. He was on the porch that we had to cross every time we went outside. Not his fault. The manager text on Wednesday to say that the owner wanted to show the house that morning( house is for sale) I couldn’t believe it. I told mngr that I thought compensation was warranted. The owner offered $200. I thought that was ridiculous. Then she offered $200 for screen repair and $200 for showing house. That was when I thought the screen guy was going to be there one day. House showing was canceled, so they said they would reimburse the$200 for repair guy being there. I think it should be $200 for each day he was there. Then manager said pool guy would come on Wednesday. I said great because it was green and cloudy. He did not come until Thursday, and left before I could talk to him. manager talked to the pool guy who said he shocked the pool and the breaker was off so no circulation. It was filthy! We skimmed and scrubbed it!Bad first VRBO

A stunning bay retreat

This is a relaxing retreat off the beaten path. The house was clean and well equipped. We enjoyed cooking on the deck, relaxing in the pool, and enough space for everyone. The views of the bay are stunning and dolphins came through each day. We also found we were close to several public beaches and a short hop to shopping!

Nice, pleasant and clean. Great for family, except for the stairs. Elderly or small children might have problems as the bedrooms are up stairs and the rear deck has a flight and a half to ground level. House was well maintained and freshly painted. Pool was ideal for kids. Great boat dock if you have one . Ramp close by and easy tie offs. Thanks for letting us to stay at your house to visit family Kim was very patient and helpful thanks

Spring Break 2024

The house was very nice, but I would not recommend it for small children. I had moved some of the nice glass decorations out of the way so they would not be broken. There were no plastic plates or cups either, so we bought paper plates to be sure we didn't break anything. The porches and decks appear to be screened in, but they were not. There were many missing screens. The pool was a huge disappointment. It was very dirty, and the pump was not operating properly, so we could not use it. The property management team was very nice, but with any issue I had it got road blocked by the property owner who was not willing to compromise with me, likely due to the fact they had just listed the property for sale. We were very excited for our vacation, and we made the most of it, but the property was a bit of a letdown, mainly because the pool was not functional.

Beautiful views!

Overall our stay at Bay Landing was fun and relaxing. The location is about a 30min boat ride to Perdido pass which we enjoyed. The master bedroom/bathroom was cozy and beautiful. The beds in the other 2 rooms, however, were not comfortable. The mattress are very worn down and 1 of the beds had broken slats. The back bedrooms have a beautiful view but the sheer curtains (and missing curtains) made it was difficult to sleep in on vacation due to the bright sunlight. The kitchen appliances are new and work great. The seating area in the kitchen is very limited. The benches on the tables are very wobbly and need maintenance. The pump on the pool was broken during the first part of our stay but they were able to get that fixed so we were able to enjoy it. Was perfect after a day on the beach.

Weekend staycation

This was such a pleasant surprise for us. Our original booking was cancelled last minute due to no fault of our own. We then found this house last minute and it was honestly a huge upgrade. I had friends and family in town to celebrate a birthday and we were all blown away with this property. We had the best weekend and cannot wait to stay again.

Beautiful place on the bay

Our family loved being in this home. It is beautiful and in a perfect location on a quiet street. The sunrise and sunset over the bay are amazing. The house has everything we needed, and the pool was perfect. We would highly recommend this home and area for a vacation near the Gulf and on the water.

Great waterfront home

We had a wonderful week on vacation with our kids. The house was clean and comfortable, and the location was beautiful. We enjoyed the pool and spending time on the boat. Highly recommend.

We had a very relaxinng stay. The house was very clean upon arrival and check in was very easy. House is situated in a nice area away from the busy, tourist areas. Very peaceful. Property management checked in through phone calls a few times to ensure we were having a good stay. Only a few minor repairs of things we noticed upon arrival which we reported to management. Loved the screened in deck area and the view of the bay was so relaxing. Saw dolphins briefly a few times. Wish we would have known to check whether pool was heated, as it was pretty chilly, but didn't stop a few of our party from enjoying it. It was nice to have a grocery store nearby that we could place a pickup order at for things we didn't bring with us. Kitchen had everything we needed. On days we ventured out drive was not bad at all. Would definitely return to this house.

Lovely Location in Lillian AL

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Family and friends joined me during a month long stay at this lovely home, situated on Perdido Bay. Every morning we could watch the sunrise, and every evening we sat poolside to watch the sunset. The bay is peaceful and gorgeous. We were about 30-40 minutes to beautiful beaches. I would stay here again, although it would be helpful to have printed information available about how to use the kitchen and laundry appliances.

Weekend Getaway

The house and property were beautiful. House was very clean when we arrived. Pool was gorgeous. We brought our boats, so the dock was very nice. The back yard was completely fenced for our dogs to just roam around. There is a screened in porch off the main floor, that was fantastic in the evening and morning with gorgeous views. The only issue I could possibly come up with is there are 3 flights of stairs at this place. My granny was with our group, so it was a little rough for her. I did not realize there were so many steps prior to booking. Otherwise the place was great! Lillian is a little drive from all the beach restaurants but it’s a great place if you want some peace and quiet.
