Beautiful and rural

This house is SO comfortable that I could see myself living in it! Beautiful and clean, and the outside deck and patio are relaxing to spend time in, right up next to the woods. Takes about 10-15 minutes to drive into town, but an easy and pretty drive. We had everything we needed and would love to stay here again next year when I'm back home for a visit!

Saco Stay

My mother and I truly enjoyed our time at the rental. It had everything we needed! Close to the Portland airport. Close to Old Orchard Beach without the crowds and over population. The renter was very accommodating and informative about the area. I would recommend anyone looking for a peaceful and quiet place to stay to definitely rent here!

Perfect Quiet Weekend

Stayed at Danielle's cabin for a quiet weekend with my husband and our 16 month old son. The space was perfect for us and was centrally located to the activities we had planned for the weekend.

Charming cottage - great location

The cottage is adorable & spacious. Nicely furnished and decorated. Very comfortable with both interior and exterior spaces. Great location for driving to other nearby attractions and several very nice beaches not too far away.

Lovely Stay

We enjoyed our stay in this wooded cozy home. It had a bit of a cabin feel, and felt spacious enough for our needs. I appreciated the small decorative details that made us feel at home. The beds were comfortable with linens aplenty. Lots of puzzles and game of checkers to pass the time if you are just relaxing. We didn't get to use the firepit because it was so hot, but I'm sure that would have added to our enjoyment of the property. Plenty of outdoor space to explore. The only downfall is the refrigerator wasn't working properly and some of our food spoiled on day 3. We did notify Danielle so hopefully it is something that will be resolved for your stay. Danielle was easy to reach, accomodating, and overall a great host. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Very peaceful!

We had a very nice stay! The area was peaceful, bed was comfy and great showers (plenty of hot water and water pressure). House was clean and stocked nicely, plenty of cookware, plates, etc and plenty of clean linens and towels. Not a far drive to Saco or Old Orchard beach. Lots of things to do and some really good restaurants. Thank you Danielle for hosting with VRBO!!

Great little cottage

We enjoyed our short stay here. It was the perfect size for our small family, (we often find places are much bigger than we need.) It's very cute, has lots of little touches and an interesting story, lots of character. The owner was super helpful and friendly and went out of her way to add little extras to the place. The beds were comfortable, it was easy to get to, and I enjoyed coffee on the deck, listening to the birds in the mornings. Thank you Danielle!

Woodsy Maine esperience.

This worked out so well for us since we were attending a three day event at the Ecology School on Simpson Road in Saco. We did not cook but the kitchen was fully equipped. The house was very comfortable and the advertising is accurate. Our hostess, Danielle, was very welcoming and easy to communicate with. It would have been nice if the front door and the doors to the patio and deck had screens. We were there during a warm spell and could not open the house up for air flow because of the plentiful mosquitoes outside

Cute and homey

We chose this house because it was a more affordable option than staying in downtown Portland. It was an easy drive to Portland, where we spent most of our time, but the house was nice to come back to. We liked checking out the property and the little log cabin.

We enjoyed our stay on the property. Great location and an easy drive to town and beaches. Covered outdoor space was very nice, and we would have enjoyed the firepit if the weather had been nicer. Comfy and cozy base to explore the area!

Cozy and picturesque

This cottage was just perfect! Everything we could have possibly wanted. Private, yet convenient to everything. We felt so relaxed and at home. Owner offered great suggestions on places to visit and eat at, immediately responsive to any questions we had. We will be back!

Beautiful house in the woods!

Thank you for providing a wonderful visit for our fall getaway to Maine!! We had a lovely time. The house was spotless and left with delicious snacks when we arrived! The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were super clean. Small suggestion, we wish there was a light outside-maybe on the mailbox marking the house at night as the street is very dark-other than that, perfect stay!

Thoughts

Danielle is a great host; very communicative. While the location of the house was great for our needs, the house and appliances were not ideal but we made it work for us. The master bedroom was comfortable but the twin bed was a mattress on a wooden frame...perhaps better for a child rather than an adult.
