Pond Cottage

The location is beautiful, set among idyllic horse farms, and our dog enjoyed exploring the property! The cottage is lovely, and the owner was very helpful and accessible.

Lovely location

We loved Pond Cottage!

Our family of five came up for the weekend. Everything was exactly as described and there was room for us to spread out and relax. Our youngest loved exploring outside and seeing the horses. Close to Paris, Lexington, and surrounding areas and overall a wonderful experience. Communication with host was open and easy. Highly recommend and hope to stay here again!

Extended Stay at Pond Cottage

We are extremely thankful for Lauren allowing us to stay at the Pond Cottage during our 13 week stent in Lexington! It was the absolute perfect place for my wife and I and our two dogs. The huge yard was perfect for letting the dogs roam and play and get their energy out. The area is also beautifully surrounded by many horse farms. Lauren was also very quick to respond with any questions we had during our stay! We would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking for an area to stay during their time in Lexington.

Pond Cottage Stay

We enjoyed our stay in Pond Cottage. The house was very clean and comfortable. The layout was perfect for four adults and a dog. We liked being surrounded by beautiful horse farms.

Perfect Location Close to Kentucky Horse Park

Family stayed 7 days for the Kentucky NHS. It's a10 minute drive to the entrance of the Park. Very cozy place. Would stay again.

Okay Cottage

We were disappointed that the area around the pond was completely grown up and did not look like the picture. Also, the greenery at the road needs to be cut back. It was quite difficult to see if a car was coming around the curve without sticking out too much. The outdoor furniture in the back was quite dirty with bird poop. Wish it would have been cleaned off. With that being said, we were there for Breyerfest so the location was great. It was very easy to get to the Kentucky Horse Park. It was about a 10-15 minute drive. Overall, I feel it was overpriced and would probably not stay there again.

Mother’s Day

Came to Lexington for weekend to see our daughter and granddaughter. When we arrived after dark there were lights on outside so that we could see to get in. Owner had sent us directions how to get in-done without any problems. When got in-house we found it to be very clean. Owner has thought of everything that you could possibly need (plus some)she had even left items for breakfast. This was definitely one of the nicest experiences we have had using vrbo Would for sure stay here again if available when in town Thank you for helping make this a great weekend!

Great place to stay

This house was perfect for our weekend. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds and other furniture were comfortable. It’s located in the heart of horse country, which made my granddaughter happy. It was easy to find and access. I agree with another reviewer that The house is cuter than the pictures show. A very peaceful location, and the owner was great to work with.

Equestrian event at Kentucky horse park

Wonderful and comfortable with lots of fabulous touches. Host thought of everything!! Provided all the little extras you might forget and welcome snacks and lightly stocked fridge. A lifesaver for our very early breakfasts.

Wonderful stay!

Beautiful horse property and cottage. Very serene and lovely. Had so many great runs/walks on country roads, yet close to Lexington and Paris. Good communication from host. Everything we needed was at the cottage. We would stay there again!!!!

No regrets

We had a great experience at the Pond Cottage. It was exactly as advertised, the communication was great, and the welcoming touches were much appreciated. It had a better stocked kitchen than we're used to from short term rentals. I'd definitely stay again.
