The owner has provided everything we could possibly require
Property was very clean, warm and welcoming. Beds were comfortable, and kitchen well stocked. Property manager was great at checking in, and readily available. The location can't be beat, with so many attractions and wonderful restaurants within walking distance and easy access to freeway.
The house was nice and clean and the fenced in yard was very nice since we had four vehicles due to our different work schedules. The one negative is that we had people working night shift and the upstairs would get very warm during the day. It would have been nice to have some sort of AC for the upstairs.
We traveled all different parts of Washington. We went to Seattle, MtRainier, Snoqualmie falls, Fremont, and more. The location of this house being in Tacoma was a perfect location to hop on for all our little trips. The house was nice and clean, slept all our peoples, easy to check in and out, and had a washer and dryer for the day we can back wet! My only suggestion is to remove all the carpeting from the house. It’s very worn out on the steps. A few of us took to slipping down them. But we were very pleased with our stay. Thank you!
We were a little bit concerned about the homeless people that where incamped near the property. We where not bothered by them. I should emphasize that this problem is not something that the property owner has any control over. The city of Tacoma is mostly to blame for these conditions. I must mention that because of Washington States homeless problem me nor my family will never vacation in Washington or California ever again.
The property itself is great. The house was perfect and the host was prompt and very helpful. The area around the house, however, leaves a bit to be desired in that there is a tent city of approximately 8-10 tents on the street 1/2 a block away from the house and there were several nights where the noise was high. And having to drive through a bit of a mess in the alleyway was not terribly pleasant. We did a lot of sightseeing and were not at the house during the daytimes, so I cannot speak to noise levels during the day. I would stay again because it appears this area may be experiencing a bit of a renaissance and perhaps will be a bit nicer later.
The property is very clean and everything was in working order! It has been completely renovated but gives you the experience and feel of this original section of Tacoma. Mike was great to leave us a requested crock-pot. It was awesome having 2 full bathrooms and plenty of rooms that gave everyone privacy. The home is completely fenced in allowing us the ability keep our vehicles secured. There is a homeless shelter next door and a tent city a block down the road but we were never bothered by them due to the security of the home. I only wish the kitchen was stocked with a better variety of pans (larger ones) to better accommodate the amount of guests the home will hold. I would definitely stay here again!!
