The house is a good size and sleeps many. There are multiple places to gather which is also nice. Best is that it is walking distance from downtown and many restaurants. We never missed having a bike. The property manager was very responsive and helpful every step of the way.
The house and location were perfect for our group of a few families (with kids ranging from 0-10). The rooms in the house are huge and the screened in porch was a perfect hanging out. There is a huge park just behind the house as well as a playground right across the street so it was perfect for kids to run around.
There is a nice small beach (Ferry Park), it is just over a mile from the house so wasn't quite walking distance for our crew but there was plenty of parking there. A coffee shop and ice cream shop are just a short walk away.
Diane was a helpful host, and even mailed back some ear buds left behind!
Wonderful stay at this cute home in Rock Hall, MD. The house was convenient to town and to all restaurants. Quiet street. An added bonus was a playground and basketball and tennis courts just a few yards away. The kids loved it! Beds were comfortable and were already made up for us with fresh sheets, which were nice and clean! All the bedrooms were a good size, and the screened in side porch was an added bonus. The kitchen was also a nice size with stainless appliances. The only suggestions I would make would be to add another lamp in the living room (there was only one and no light in the ceiling fan), and someplace to hang clothes in the bedroom off the living room. The chest of drawers was filled with sheets, and there was no place to put our clothes or hang them up anywhere. Our family and our dog had a wonderful time! We loved Rock Hall and we'll be back. Thank you for the opportunity to stay at your lovely home!
The house worked very well for our family and Rock Hall has so much to do.
We loved it! Happily walked less than 2 blocks for coffee and breakfast at Java Rock. The kids loved the back yard and outdoor games. Screened porch was wonderful. We were close to the marina and got tickets for a sailboat ride out on the Chesapeake Bay. Saw eagles, foxes, deer, a possum and a truly free-range chicken while driving down the road!
Sailors crossing was quaint home just off the main st in rock hall. Spacious home fit our family nicely. Close proximity to a park and multiple playgrounds for the kids. Easy walks to the marinas and main st. area. We thoroughly enjoyed the screened in porch.
This was a wonderful place to stay for a family wknd wedding. My adult children and I were comfortable and everything was so accessible. The town is within walking distance as well as a great crab house. The venue was 2 miles down the road - we loved bringing food and chilling on the screened porch!
The house was very clean. There were 10 of us and we all had a nice comfortable bed. The master bedroom was large and accommodated mom dad and baby.
Nice big refrigerator and freezer for fish we caught.
AC made it so nice to come in from hot days and then the screened in porch got cool at night for all of us to gather. Thank you and we will be back.

Extremely clean and very well maintained. Loved the quaintness of the house. Would like to know more about it's history.
Need a pair of two of regular kitchen tongs to turn the bacon and sausages. Could use a new four-slice toaster since the house does accommodate 8-10 guests. The current toaster is...toast!
Beds were very comfortable. Would take a light weight blanket next time.
Could use some detailed instructions on using the televisions. Not familiar with the service.
The air conditioning was excellent. Plenty of hot water, towels, washcloths, etc. Bathrooms were very nice.
Highly recommend Sailor's Crossing for anyone visiting Rock Hall MD!
We found this home more suitable for families where two are less couples are involved. There are many beds however more singles than we expected. We assumed the trundle beds we full twin, but they are twin twin, so not all couples could sleep with one another. Dining room and kitchen are a great size but the living room is small. The location was perfect. Such a beautiful area.
The house was lovely. It provided comfort, a place for kids to play, friends to meet, memories to be made, and great meals to be had. We lucked out to know there was a fall festival the same weekend. We look forward to visiting again. Thank you so much.
Rock Hall was a very nice town to visit for a few days. It's quiet, but friendly and nice to run or bike around. There is a playground basically in the back garden so the kids (7 and 8) could go by themselves. The small beach area was good for our young kids, but did have a few dead fish floating around one day. The house is nice for a family, although the twin beds were very hard, our kids ended up sleeping on the day bed trundles.
The property manager was very responsive and even brought us over a Kuerig when we realized the house didn't have one. The grill was a mess and needed cleaning and replacement of the rusted piece.
The house is close to Main street with a coffee shop, bakery, ice cream and shopping.
We enjoyed our visit. House was as advertised. WIFI needs to be updated as it is not Sailors Delight. Also no Keurig coffee maker so do not bring cups as we did. TV is all APPs so some explanation of which ones are active and how to run them would be helpful especially to older visitors. Screen door to outside patio needs to be shaved to open easily. Otherwise someone may try to push on screen causing problems.
Quiet, no traffic, reclusive neighbors. Groceries, ice cream, ribs and crabs all in walking distnce. Beach for swimming is PERFECT for kids 3-9. Waistdeep, rock breakers, small waves, shells, no glass, benches ... just perfect for small kids.
Large yard covered in grass. Trees that can climbed easily. A soccer field right in back of the house. What more can you want???
The house itself fit 2 grandparents, one parent and 4 kids (4-0) without any problem at all.
If you have teenagers, they'd better be into fishing, walking or being in their own world. But for pre-teens? It really doesn't get any better.
