Perfect spot!!

This house was located in the perfect spot! Right on the water and conveniently lifted within about 20 minutes of the coast! Very quiet area, decent recommend!

Prime on the water location

Loved being on the water. Woke up early each morning and enjoyed a kayak ride on the pond listening to the birds. It was a bit further than expected to some tourist towns but I’m sure those who frequent the cape are aware of that. We did make it work and enjoyed a day in Chatham as well as caught the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard and spent a day over there. Location is not far from Mashpee Commons if your looking to do a little shopping. The house was very spacious and we had plenty of room for our group of 6. We ran into a problem with the propane running out on the grill day 2 of our trip but when I reached out to Irma and Brian they were very quick to respond and had a solution so we were very happy with that and had propane for the rest of our stay. Will definitely book here again.

beautiful location

cleanliness was an issue for me. Also there was a dock pictured in the photos of the property but it was taken in. Therefore no way to moor our boat which we did bring.

Great family friendly cottage

Nice pond for swimming. We tried some fishing but had no luck. Did see some osprey catch fish though. Water is nice and shallow for little ones to safely swim. Daily visits from geese, rabbits and ducks made my kids very happy. The rooms were and beds were comfortable except for the pull out couch. We ended up having to purchase a blow up mattress for my oldest children to sleep on. The pull out mattress is very thin and lumpy. AC works great and is much needed in the hot summer days. Kitchen was well stocked and was able to accommodate our group of 3 adults and 4 kids. Definitely recommend to bring extra towels if you are a larger group as there were not many and you will quickly run out and be forced to wask daily. Was very happy to have access to a washer and dryer. The host was helpful and responded quickly to all questions. We had a lovely time and definitely recommend this property.

Beautiful home - perfect for big families

Wonderfully spacious and well-stocked with supplies/amenities beyond what was listed. Great spot on the pond, perfect if you just want to chill out on an inner tube or venture out on a row boat.

Spectacular views

The views of the pond are even better in person than the pictures show - really spectacular. We also liked the location as we were able to take a lot of day trips from there. The house was really spacious, and the owner was very nice and responsive.

Great spot for a week with the family

We had a great week! We had everything we needed for relaxing, using the water, eating and having family time! The water made for beautiful sunsets and moon displays. The temperature was warm enough to enjoy. Thank you for having a warm and welcoming home!

Great house and beautiful lake!

Very comfortable, airy and bright house. The lake is right in the backyard with a private beach. The lake is beautiful! Clean and warm with a shallow beach before it gets deeper a little further out. We had use of the owner's rowboat, which was just wonderful! The house is situated in a neighborhood but it's on a one way street with the last house being right next door so there was literally no traffic that we could see. There is, however, a good amount of air traffic as the base is not far away but we did not find this to be a problem. Irma (the owner) was just an absolute delight - very quick to communicate and to assist. This was a great getaway for my daughter and me and my three grandchildren, plus my dog! Rest and relaxation, with some fun thrown in - what's not to love? We are hoping to return next year!!

Gorgeous week at the lake

The property was wonderful. The beach was quiet and peaceful. It was a perfect house to relax and unwind in. We really enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back.

Family vacation 2022

This property was perfect for my 91 year old Mom and all ages in between right down to my 6 month old grand nephew. The kids loved the water because it was very calm and shallow. The beach was great to sit and relax! Floor plan was nice since it is all in one floor. Highly recommend! Very private and no street noise.

Big living area, beautiful view of pond

This house has a huge open living area between living room, kitchen and dining area. Lots of natural light, high ceilings, which can be hard to find on the Cape. The house is private in woodsy area on cul de sac so it’s quiet. We brought our own kayak and SUP and enjoyed being right on the water. It’s 10 minutes drive to two public beaches. Beds are comfortable, the loft upstairs has a desk and would be nice area to work if needed, and linens are provided which is convenient. Owner was fast to communicate and very nice. Kitchen is very well stocked and there are outdoor tables on deck to enjoy the view also. Overall very comfortable and peaceful stay!

Very nice lake front house. Family friendly.

My extended family and I, total of 5 adults and 3 tween children, enjoyed our time here! House had perfect amount of space for us to all be comfortable and also spend quality time together as a family. Kitchen was very well stocked (a bit too much left behind by previous renters making it a little difficult for us to fit our food in refrigerator and cabinets but we made it work!). Great water access and use of boat was wonderful. Please note that towels are provided but for our week only 6 bath towels were available. Washer and dryer are available however not ideal to have to wash the towels every day in order for everyone to shower. A quick trip to Walmart helped resolve that. Owners have great communication and very responsive to questions. Would book again!

Spacious house with private pond beach

We had a wonderful time. The house has lots of space, is pet friendly and has a great view from the deck. We spent our time relaxing on the private beach, swimming and kayaking on the pond. There are also lovely woodsy walking trails nearby.
