Not horrible but would not book again
Pros: the owner let us check in early and were responsive when the AC was not working. The beds were comfy and the resort was fun to have.
Cons:
None of the things in the game room were usable. The pool table was missing a ball and none of the sticks had tips, there were no darts for the dart board, and the foosball table didn't have a ball.
The cleanliness overall was very lacking. Many of the walls are stained, there was a pile of dead bugs inside the door when we first entered, and many of the dishes had a brown sticky substance on them (seemed like syrup).
The AC was the biggest issue. They tried to fix it twice but the upstairs never cooled down. It stayed at ~80° the entire time during the day. Seeing that is where most of the rooms are, it was uncomfortable and made nap time a struggle for the little ones.
Lastly, the home was not stocked at all. Only 2 of the many remotes had batteries in them, only about half of the bathrooms had any toilet paper on arrival, there was not any dishwasher or laundry detergent, and no trash bags.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Florida as we were outside the home for the majority of the time but the home itself was very disappointing and with the amount of short term rentals in the Orlando area at around the same price point we will look elsewhere in any future bookings.
