Very nice stay
Nice place for walking. We have seen the Matterhorn. Directly locaties to the trainstation. Owner of the house very frienly! She played games with the kids and cooked raclette for us. Very clean and complete!

Sehr schöne, grosse, saubere Wohnung. Hat alles was man braucht, tip top. Wäre super könnte man mit dem Skipass von Grächen auch die Bahn, welche direkt neben dem Haus hält nutzen könnte, das geht leider nicht. Gruss Thomas Hanselmann

Gelungene Sportferien
Haben die 3. Sportferien in dieser Wohnung in Kalpetran verbracht. Küche ist seit 3 Jahren erneuert mit Geschirrspüler. Wir schätzen die ruhige Lage und den nahen Bahnhof, wo man 2x stündlich Züge nach Zermatt und Visp hat. (Visp 20 Min, Zermatt 45 Min) Freundliche Wirtin und Besitzerin, die den herrlichen Walliser Dialekt spricht. War gut geheizt.

ÖV Ferien
Idealer Standort, um Ferien per ÖV zu machen. Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Bahnhof, das Quietschen der Züge stört aber gar nicht. Wir genossen zwei tolle Wochen in Kalpetran. Vor Ort gibt es nicht viel, ist aber Ideal für unternehmungshungrige Leute. Die Züge und die Luftseilbahn verkehren jede halbe Stunde in beide Richtungen. Die Vermieterin war sehr nett und aufmerksam.

Perfekte Lage für öffentliche Verkehrsmittel
Wir haben die Wohnung wegen Ihrer Verkehrsanbindung gewählt. So hat man die Möglichkeit direkt von der Wohnung auf den Bahnsteig zu laufen und so jeden Ort im Wallis bequem zu erreichen. Die Ausstattung ist völlig ausreichend. Wir konnten das Auto stehen lassen und waren schnell und ohne Hektik unterwegs.

Fijn appartement
Ondanks dat het appartement direct tegen de spoorlijn ligt merk daar nauwelijks iets van. Het appartement is ruim genoeg en heeft een mooie en praktische keuken. Het sanitair is ook prima in orde. Skigebied Saas Fee is slechts 30 minuutjes rijden. De eigenaresse was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Was een heel fijn verblijf, ook voor onze hond!

Perfektní poloha pro výlety vlakem
Příjemný zachovalý apartmán s novou kuchyňskou linkou v bezprostřední blízkosti nádraží, ideální pro milovníky vlaků, kterým nevadí ani občasné vibrace při jejich průjezdu. Jinak velmi klidná vesnička. Wi-fi připojení stabilní.

Stärker Baulärm
Leider wurde unser Aufenthalt in Kalpetran im Chalet Christl von starkem Baulärm überschattet! Die Ferienwohnung an sich war eigentlich ganz schön. Aber genau fünf Meter gegenüber der Terrasse befindet sich eine Großbaustelle der BLS! Der gesamte Bahnhof Kalpetran wird bis 2021 ganz umgebaut. Deshalb hatten wir, leider sogar am Wochenende von 7 Uhr früh bis 17 Uhr abends Baulärm durch Abrissarbeiten mit Presslufthämmern, Rüttlern und starkes Signaltröten auch in der Nacht! Erholung deshalb Null

Horrible, HomeAway did not communicate payement to landlord
We booked our vaction through home-away; upon arrival, the landlord demanded full payment (we had already paid in full through Home-Away). I called HomeAway, they ensured they would notify the landlord. Apparently this was not done, because the LandLord showed up again, demanding full payment in cash. After a very long (painful - landlord did not understand English, only German) discussion and providing proof several times, the landlord finally said OK but demanded a 30 Euro payment in cash for the pet (which again, had already been paid for in HomeAway -- HomeAway ensured us that one pet was allowed and was included in the final payment). We ended up paying the 30 Euros just to make her be quiet so we could leave. Overall, a HORRIBLE experience.
