Step inside and be mesmerized by the view of the lake. Screened in front porch with 2 back decks over looking Lake Medora. This open concept has great views from every room. First floor bedroom plus two separated sleeping areas in a L shaped loft . 1 and 3/4 bath. Washer/ dryer. Pellet stove. Large bathtub. No pets. No smoking. 5 miles from Copper Harbor. Great access to skiing, ATV, mountain bike trails, golf and mountain lodge near by or relax and fish from the dock. 4 Kayaks available for use and a clear or see thru kayak. TV and DVD player. No snowmobiles. Sorry your trailers wont fit in the drivway in winter.

Beautiful little property on Lake Medora, just a few minutes from downtown Copper Harbor. It really was the perfect home base for a MTB trip. The place was very clean and comfortable and quiet. Gorgeous view of the lake. Excellent communication with Gary, allowed us to check out a little late which really helped our schedule. We've already booked a second stay next month, looking forward to it! One note, the showers are on the smaller side, so they may be a challenge to use for larger individuals.

Enjoyed the Keweenaw

My sister and I were up for the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge "Dark Sky Event" and stayed at this house during our visit. Simply put - what a beautiful home! Super clean, all the amenities one could ask for! Beautiful views of the lake, especially off of the 1st floor deck and 2nd floor balcony. I think it shows 1 bath and no Wi-Fi, but this wonderful home has 2 baths and Wi-Fi. Will stay again for sure!

Absolutely LOVED the property and its preparedness! Proximity to Copper Harbor yet sheltered from the Big Lake weather it was just what we were looking for. Awesome place! Would definitely stay again!

Cozy cabin on Lake Medora

Gary's home was the perfect place for my friends and I on our 5th annial trip to Mount Bohemia. The conditions for snow this year weren't so great but the ping-pong table in the basement helped pass the time. The house was clean, beds were comfy, the kitchen was spacious, showers were hot, and there was plenty of room for the 6 of us to hang out. The location is great too, within 15 minutes of Mt Bohemia and Copper Harbor, lots of nearby hiking, and the view of the lake is stunning, Id love to return both in the winter and summer.

Anniversary Trip

We had some business in Wisconsin but afterwards we drove to Copper Harbor as part of our 35th wedding anniversary trip. We didn't want to leave! It was so peaceful and beautiful. The house was wonderful. We hope to stay a week next time!

Anniversary Trip

This was our first time to the UP, the area and this house were gorgeous. This place is so clean and well stocked, and as good if not better than the pictures. We would highly recommend this home and we will definitely be back!

Great Lake House

Mountain bike weekend with a few friends. The house was a short drive to Copper Harbor bike trails (and the town). We all enjoyed the lake view and the house set up. Plenty of space for the three of us to spread out and hang out. We will stay here again next year for our bike trip. Great communication with the owner as well. Check in was a breeze as well.

Lake Medora Lofthouse

Beautiful home in a beautiful location! We had everything we needed and then some. The beds were very comfortable. Kayaking was amazing on Lake Medora.

Perfect vacation

The views from the porch was amazing. We enjoyed feeding the duck in the mornings. We did not have to use the pellet stove as the weather was wonderful. The kitchen had everything we needed to make food for everyone.

Lake Medora Loft House

Clean and comfortable. Close enough to highway that trips into Copper Harbor and Calumet were quite convenient. There were kayaks available to use which weren't mentioned in the description and are a nice extra. While you were supplied with Keurig coffee and maker, we would have preferred a coffee maker to brew the coffee we brought with us.

Kids 1st UP Trip

Very happy with everything about our stay. Much larger than pictures really show and very clean. House had everything needed, including a flashlight to go back to Brockway Mtn after the 4th of July fireworks to find our toddlers favorite stuffed animal we didn't realized she dropped ...he was rescued :) We weren't expecting to have internet or any TV so that was a surprise, mostly loved by our teen. The lake was beautiful, not great for fishing, but water was warm enough to get in, and the kayaks (especially the clear bottom one) were a hit with all 4 of us. Regretted not booking more nights and would love to stay again. Thanks for making our kids first trip to the UP and Keweenaw memorable.
