Near ski and snowmobile trails. Enjoy a peaceful bonfire in the yard and you may even see a few deer wonder through the back feild.

Note: we have one Ring security camera on the front side of the cabin. It has audio and microphone capabilities. The main reason we find it necessary is to help guests with any issues in getting into to the cabin. The second reason is for snow removal during the winter months. There is a drastically different snow accumulation from one area of the Copper County to another.

Place is very unique , in a great way. Could not be more satisfied or impressed . Part old school knotty pine classic built cabin with an updated addition that is very large, spacious , and comfortable ….. large comfortable couches, modern big screen that worked perfect even thru “the blizzard” ( it snowed approx 17” during our 3 day stay)Plenty of room even for all snowmobile gear …Internet was excellent. Check in / out could not be easier , had a question about snowmobiling and host answered promptly . Lots of parking , drive thru driveways. House was VERY CLEAN, Nice linens, full kitchen, they underpromised and over delivered .Driveway was plowed within few hours of snow starting , excellent hosts …. (Side note: No service for Verizon but Att was good) Would recommend and stay again ….
Property perfect for our crew, clean and as advertised.. easy in and out with plenty of parking. We are return customers because the accommodations are perfect for our needs.
The location! You guys this place is like magic. I genuinely felt like i was the centerpiece of a snow globe. It was absolutely gorgeous. It offered all the space you could ask for. Indoor activities for when it's too cold, Plenty of seating. Can't wait to return for a summer stay.
The place was laid out fairly well. Nice living room area. Having 1 bathroom for 5 guys was the max I would recommend. For snowmobiling it was a way's from the trail and snow conditions were just ok. A fair amount of road running to access the trail. Overall doable and much better then staying in a hotel.
We were blown away by the set up of the cabin, the bunk beds were super comfy, the location was perfect. Outside of town, but still close enough to restaurants and businesses if that’s what you’re looking for. Close to the beaches and state park, but in enough trees to not have to get the full winds when they come.
We had a blast, we can’t wait to come back soon with more of our family.
The house had something for everyone. Our puppies enjoyed running around the property. Our kids enjoyed the large living room for their dance game and pool. We all enjoyed the corn hole game and our beautiful surroundings. Everything was clean and the beds were fairly comfortable. I was super thankful for the AC. The UP was warmer than usual for September. We have no major complaints just two suggestions. A light over the stove would be great, but certainly no deal breaker. And the coffee maker takes about 2 hours to brew. No biggie. Luckily circle isn't far. It was a beautiful and relaxing stay. We really didn't need anything but the hosts were available if we had. We would definitely stay again.
This cabin was quaint and rustic yet so clean and comfortable!! A great hub to stay at when exploring the Keewenaw and so close to a couple beaches on Lake Superior. Would be perfect for a group of people and kids!
Great cozy cabin with large yard for kids and dog to run around in. The location was perfect for exploring and rock hunting!! Will stay again but will bring cozier blankets ❤️.
This rental was a good fit for our family with a nice cabin feel. Would recommend this rental and would stay again.

Liked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities, communication
This was a last minute, one night rental. As such, I was concerned with timely communication with the host. I have to admit the hosts, Jason and Misty, were incredibly responsive. I never found myself waiting very long for responses to my concerns. They are also very proactive. As for the property, there was nothing I could complain about. It was clean and well stocked with necessities. It's not your typical rental given it's four bedroom, two of which are in lofts with ladders, and that it sleeps twenty. We had fun locating the beds and figuring out how they would accommodate twenty people; some were more queen size.
Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed our stay at the rustic cabin. Had trouble with the gas grill and could not use as LP valve was stuck. Would recommend bringing extra blankets (the ones provided were quite thin and not soft). As listing states, it is rustic but had everything that was needed plus pool table a nice addition. Would recommend a few new skillets to cook with.
My family, including young children and our dog, and I enjoyed our stay at the Little Horn Lodge. The property provides a sense of "rustic comfort" and a great deal of privacy. We were close enough to both the ORV trails and a quick drive into the Hancock/Houghton area. We would certainly return for a stay in the future!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Little Horn Lodge! Jason and Misty were easy to communicate with and provided everything we needed for our three night stay. The location was great, near McLain State Park and not far from downtown Houghton. We would stay here again!
The cabin is rustic, great space for relaxing with friends and family. We enjoyed the pool table and the set of bags, playing games at the large table and sitting on the deck in the morning sun. Great location to venture out to hikes, waterfalls and Lake Superior.
First time travelling with our dogs so it was a perfect place for them. A little bigger than what we needed for just 2 of us. Would be great for larger groups or families.
We enjoyed our stay here very much! It fit our needs perfectly for our rockhounding trip. It was my husband and I along with my sister and our 2 dogs. There is a nice big yard for the dogs. The cabin is rustic, which I liked and was clean and comfortable.Communication with hosts was great. We had a couple of questions and they always responded quickly. Check in was easy. We cooked a few meals and the kitchen had all the pans and utensils we needed. No complaints here!
Both my wife Misty and myself were born in the Copper Country. We live in Lake Linden where we raise our 3 children.
I work in our family grocery store, Louie's Fresh Market that our family has owned since the 1976.
I enjoy working with my family, being on the lake in any capacity, during the winter I help coach our girls hockey team and try to play a few games myself.
I am very laid-back and enjoy spending time with family and friends. We only get one shot at life, so we enjoy everyday we are given.
I starting hosting short term rentals in 2021. I became a host because I wanted others to be able to enjoy the area as much as we have.
