Our home is a three-bedroom two-bath home built in 1949. It currently sleeps 8 people with three queen-sized beds, a daybed, and a trundle. It functioned as a working farm until 2016. It is settled on seven acres of land, less than a mile from the interstate. The house has multiple seating and dining areas throughout including a sunroom, den, standard living room, dining room, and kitchen with a breakfast bar. Every bedroom comes with its own TV and Roku. The house also has cable and wireless internet, as well as a washer and dryer. There is a beautiful creek running along the edge of the property and a pathway leading down to the water. The house has charming details such as the original oak hardwood floors as well as hand crafted molding. We are also close to Green River Game Land, Dupont State Forest, Hickory Nut Gorge, Blue Ridge Parkway, and many more hiking trails. Henderson County is home to Historic Downtown Hendersonville, Carl Sandburg National Historic Site as well as Flat Rock Playhouse. We are also close to many u-pick farms including apple and berry farms as well as many of the local breweries and wineries. This is a property and an area that has something to offer everyone.
Included in the price of your stay are full linens, towels, dishes, and a full kitchen with pots and pans. There are also board games, books, a dartboard in the sunroom, as well as cornhole. Other accommodations include a first-aid kit, fire extinguisher, disposable masks, hand sanitizer, hand soap, dishwashing liquid, and assorted cleaning supplies. Rest assured that the house will be in immaculate order for each guest. Cleanliness is of utmost importance. We want our guests to be comfortable and feel at home.
