Chalet Lo Grané - Four Bedroom Chalet, Sleeps 8

Cocoonr/Book&Pay offers this charming 60 m² air-conditioned chalet for rent in Jarrier, which can accommodate up to 8 guests. It comprises a pretty 28 m² living room, an open-plan fully-equipped kitchen, four bedrooms, a shower room and large terraces with panoramic views. With fibre-optic Wi-Fi included, we're just waiting for you to enjoy the mountain air with your family or friends!

The accommodation comprises
Ground floor:
- A 28 m² living room with TV (Canal +), sofas and dining area.
- An open-plan kitchen with appliances including: electric kettle, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, hob, filter coffee machine and SENSEO coffee machine (pods not supplied).
- An enclosed but unheated veranda (approx. 13 m²) with a 3-seater sofa, a table and a hanger for drying ski clothes and a small lockable storage area for suitcases and ski equipment.
- Laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and iron.

First floor:
- Bedroom 1: a double bed (140×190), a TV and a small dressing room.
- Bedroom 2: double bed (140×190), TV and wardrobe.
- Shower room.
- Separate WC

Under the roof :
- Bedroom 3: a double bed (140×190) and a TV.
- Bedroom 4: two single beds and a TV

You can also take advantage of the following facilities: a cot, a baby booster seat, a multifunctional appliance (pierrade, crêpière, raclette, etc.), a fondue machine and a croque-monsieur machine.

Outside:
- A first terrace on the ground floor of approx. 60 m², facing south-east, part of which is covered to house a wood-burning oven.
- A second terrace of around 36 m² on the level of the bedrooms and the car park, with furniture to make the most of the fine weather.

The house is ideally located in Jarrier, in a very pleasant and peaceful setting. You'll have an uninterrupted view of the Saint Jean de Maurienne valley. Saint Jean de Maurienne has all the essential shops, as well as boutiques, restaurants, bars and a market.

Activities :
Jarrier is a mountain village located on the balconies of Saint-jean-de-Maurienne where 27 hamlets are organised around ovens, chapels and oratories. From this charming village, you can enjoy a wide range of activities and discover endemic flora and fauna.
On foot or by mountain bike (one of the world's largest cycling areas - Telegraphe, Galibier, Lautaret, Croix de Fer, Glandon, Iseran, Mont Cenis, Mollard, Madeleine, Chaussy and the Montvernier lacets), you can criss-cross the passes and keep your eyes peeled for marmots, chamois, eagles and vultures.
If you're a keen skier, you'll find what you're looking for just a few kilometres from the accommodation.
In winter, there's a snowfield for sledging right from the chalet. Snowshoeing, ski-touring and hiking trails start from the chalet. Orienteering circuits with start 100 m away.

Transport :
If you choose to come by car, you can park directly in the private car park in front of the chalet, which is accessible to all types of vehicle (5 vehicles maximum) except during snowy periods. (It is strongly recommended that you park on the side of the local road during snowy periods. Never go down if snow is forecast or if the private road is snow-covered (impossible to go back up).

As for other modes of transport, here is some information you may find useful:
- Nearest train station: Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne station, about 20 minutes' drive away.
- Nearest airport: Chambéry Savoie Mont Blanc airport, about 1 hour 10 minutes by car.

Other information:
- In the event of snow, it is impossible to drive down to the chalet (70 m walk).
- Electric convector heaters and reversible air conditioning for heating the bedrooms. The living room is heated by a pellet stove and reversible air conditioning.
- Pets accepted for an extra charge of €15/stay (one pet only), please specify when booking.
- Bed linen and towels are not included and can be provided on request, at an additional cost (hire and payment to be made with our partner on site).
- Cleaning at the end of your stay is your responsibility. (or in addition, 80€ to be paid to our local service provider).
