Offering a tranquil creekside location in one of the most beloved properties in East Vail, this one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo at Pitkin Creek Park makes a wonderful home base for skiers, hikers, and anglers alike. This 760-square-foot space has been thoughtfully remodeled, featuring large windows and a mirrored wall that maximize the natural light, a full granite kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a small breakfast bar, and a dining room table where you can spend your evenings sharing meals, telling stories, and playing board games. At night, place a log in the wood-burning stove, curl up on one of the leather couches with a good book or a movie, and get a restful night's sleep in the queen bedroom or the comfortable sleeper sofa (without a metal frame) in the living room.

On the grounds of Pitkin Creek Park, you'll be just a few steps from a stop for the free Town of Vail shuttle bus, which runs to Vail Village (just over three miles away) every 15 minutes in winter. There's also a seasonal swimming pool, a year-round hot tub, a volleyball court, and a market on the property.

Great experience at this condo!

The location of this condo is very convenient. East Vail Bus comes right at the condo so making everything very convenient. The condition of condo is good, with updated appliance and decor. The unit was clean when we arrived. Private washer and dryer were very convenient. The only thing is about number of towels available. We had three adults and only given 4 bath towels for our entire stay (5 nights). It was ok but we did have to wash the towels ourselves after a couple of days. Overall, good stay.

Location was the best part of this place!

The location is located right next to the bus stop which was wonderful. The unit itself was ok. Sink did not drain, the water pressure coming out of the shower head was low and the bed was not very comfortable. The property management was not accommodating whatsoever. My husband and I stayed for a wedding, no early check in nor would they allow us to park the car and keep the bags in the car. When we finally arrived late that evening, there was no parking pass as instructed in the unit. I texted at 6:30 am telling them this to which time they said someone would be in contact. 12:30 pm still no response. At this time I was on my way to a wedding when I reached back out again. Someone called me to tell me they would bring a pass over. I asked them to put it on my way car to avoid getting towed or ticketed and they replied they would do this. Later that evening we noted the parking pass was left at the door. Luckily I did not get a ticket or towed. Check out time was 10 am, and housekeeping was marching through the door at 9 am.

My rreservation was through VRBO but switched to Vacasa.

Total failure on the part of Vacasa to respond to our multiple issues. DO NOT USE VACASA! Absolutely the WORST customer service I have ever experienced! Multiple attempts over a week period got us nowhere. Even with two serious safety issues we received no assistance and we're totally ignored. DO NOT USE VACASA!

Unable to gain access to unit upon arrival. Almost an hour for a live person to correct entry issue. Unit was clean and well provisioned. If the complex was not in East Vail it would be considered ghetto. Broken down cars parked that had obviously been there awhile. 2 cracked plastic chairs and a rusted small round table at the pool and hot tub. March Madness began my week and TV did not work. Maintenance man showed up 2nd day still no tv. He said he would send cable tech the next day to resolve. Never showed up. No basketball or tv the entire stay. Do yourself a favor. Stay somewhere else.

Accurately described. Great place for a couple day ski trip. It has everything that you need. The only downside is for the complex, not the condo. That is the hot tub. The unit is a decent walk from it. Once you get to the hot tub you'd wish it was further away, pretty awful.

Perfect condo for 2 people

Wonderful condo with amazing kitchen set. Every pot or pan you would ever need. Also a moderate size grill out back and a very cozy fireplace. Only issue I had was retrieving a parking pass, the staff at the property office did not have anything to provide despite the listing saying you need to check in for a pass. Overall fantastic though!

Great location

Location is on the shuttle route which makes for easy access to the mountain. The shuttle drops off at transportation center which is a short walk to the Gondola one and with very few stops in between so short ride overall. Store and liquor store on site for those who don’t have a vehicle and don’t want to take shuttle in town to Grocery stores. Has a hot tub on site that was nice for soothing tired muscles after a day on the slopes. Wood burning stove for cozy nights in. Stream just outside the back door was nice If it hasn’t recently snowed but you can hear it. Management company Is nice and was easy to access, no issues with property. Kitchen is stocked with all the things we needed to cook in. Dryer takes a while to dry clothes but on high heat it was faster. Comfortable couches, DVD, VHS, games, books, cable... need I say more? Everything you need for a nice stay.

It could use a few updates (paint, repair of window cranks, more comfortable sofa bed and new mattress in bedroom). There is noticeable noise from I70 in the bedroom which takes some getting used to. Otherwise, it was nice having some of the basics-- laundry room, condiments, etc. Staff was very pleasant and great location for the East Vail bus stop (Pitkin Creek).

My first trip to Vail!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: One challenge with going to a place like Vail for the first time, it is so big it is very challenging picking a place to stay! We ended up in the Pitkin Creek Condos and we very pleased to find the free Vail Shuttle bus stopped right there, so getting to the main village for ski rentals, skiing, and dinner was very easy. The trip might have been 10 minutes right to the main village. Big plus! The condo we were in was well set-up and nicely decorated / comfortable. Our first night, we picked up some food from the market on site. We did have to use the oven to cook part of the meal but were challenged turning off the oven's heating element when finished. We ended up resorting to contacting the emerg telephone number and were guided to turn off the breaker, and the issue was cleared up the next morning while we were out skiing. We went to do laundry that next night and i found damp towels in the dryer that had been there a few days. I included those towels with our washing, and once everything had been through a normal dryer cycle, we found the clothes and towels still wet. We took out the towels and hung them to dry and tried just the clothes we needed the next day in a different cycle. Still wet. We ended up having to hang everything to dry. We did bring this to the attention of the property manager but got no response over the remainder of our stay. In sum, great location, comfortable stay, clean, but appliances might not work and onsite management might not be responsive.

Great One BR condo in East Vail

Some of the pots/pans were not very clean on arrival. Crockery needs replacing and not enough knives. A number of the TV channels were not available including basic news channels!

The place was very clean and cozy, andthe kitchen was well stocked for preparing our meals. The shuttle bus stop was right outside and very convenient and easy for getting to the ski areas or out in the evenings. The on site store was a bonus, we used it for all of our groceries, beer, wine and snacks.. Overall a great place to stay.

January Ski Trip

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rented condo via 3rd party. Rented Pitkin Creek condo 5X. Worst rental ever. Hard to describe how bad. Wasn't clean, bed was in loft on 2nd floor. Ceiling in loft was not high enough to stand, no railing in loft at end of bed so you could fall, stairs to loft were more like a ladder (steep), heating system could not be adjusted, TV / cable had minimal channels... Bottom line, you should never rent this condo. I visited the local office and was assign condo 2B or 2C, can't remember. It was $50 more a night, but a significantly better. Everything in 2B or 2C was excellent. The remainder of this survey will be based on 2B or 2C, not 5X.

Reviewer Comments: Nice spot for getting the bus into Vail or if you are driving east (Breckenridge, A Basin, Keystone) or west (Beaver Creek). Condo is indeed comfortable and fairly well-equipped. Bedroom could use a lamp with an outlet on it (like hotels) as the wall outlets spacing is sparse and inconvenient. For a real perk - as you get in the shower, pop your towel into the dryer that's right in the bathroom and you get a toasty treat when your ready to dry off!!!
