4/10 Poor

The issue isnt so much with the home, more with Vacasa.
I'll be frank here - if you're looking for beds to crash in with a decent proximity to the village, and aren't picky, this place is decently priced and stocked for your needs. Let's talk about everything else though. Vacasa automated text messages us the address and door code the day of. We arrive, stoked - enter the combo..no key in the key box. Hmm. Text message Vacasa for help. We're contacting the owner right now! Stand by! An hour goes by without a response or update, and now Vacasa isnt answering the text message thread. We try the door. Oh...it's completely unlocked. Ok...odd. But it's cold, so we go in. Still no response from Vacasa. A quick inspection of the apartment revealed that the dishwasher was running, so the cleaning team likely had just left (it's 530pm, mind you). We open it...there is literally nothing in there. Weird, but not a dealbreaker. We open the refrigerator to begin placing things inside - filthy. Not like....a spot or two. Crumbs and food particles everywhere. I open the silverware drawer to find a bottle opener...and there is a used blister pack with some random pills sitting there. The chair in the master bedroom was completely broken and unusable. The chain lock for the front door was completely broken and unusable, leaving only the doorknob lock...which we still didnt have a key for. 90 minutes or so goes by, and I finally call Vacasa. We cant leave without a house key, as we cant lock the doors. And we arent leaving an unlocked apartment, nope. The gentlemen on the phone was at least nice and gave us the code to the alternate key box, so we were able to finally leave the apartment. He also asked us to text him pictures of the above items, which we did, although we never received a response. Bottom line - this apartment isn't a bad one. It's a great location, and priced accordingly. Will I trust Vacasa again though? Unlikely.

Was a nice place to stay near the resort. Could use a little more lighting if you like to read.

Great space and amenities, clean and comfy, but thin walls/floors
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this condo and all the effort and amenities the management put into making each stay perfect. Check in/check out was simple (even after hours). The location and access to Vail was very convenient. Honestly, our only issue was how thin the floors were. During the day we had a family with small children above us (constant running and voices) and at night we had a night owl (and smoker) below who kept the tv on until 4 or 5 am. The management was notified of the late night noise and management was great about contacting the neighbor in a kind and efficient manner. Overall the beds, showers, kitchen, laundry in unit, kitchen and living room were perfect for our family of 5.
