Spent 5 days at Dam Right with my dog. Camp was immaculate, easy check in and talk about dog friendly!
Linda and David left drying towels, spare sheets and a dog bowl for my pup!
Great location Great atmosphere
dam right cabin is a unique property combining off grid simplicity with creature comforts. hosts linda and david are available to answer all questions if needed, but the property is really turn key. snowmobile trails are nearby and walkable without snow cover.
overall we recommend this destination.
David and Linda were so kind! They set up a pack and play and brought over a stroller for us to use on our little family get away for the weekend! The cabin was very clean and cozy, and pretty private! Very close walk to the water with gorgeous views, as well as great fishing spots! Highly recommend this property!
This is a cute little log cabin. We did a lot of riding and a little kayaking. Easy access for both activities. We really enjoyed coffee on the front porch in the morning and the fire pit in the evening. The owners are very responsive and kind!
The cabin was neat and clean and fully equipped for everything we needed. The owners were super helpful and accommodating before and during our entire stay. Trail access couldn't be better. We definitely plan to return!
It was exactly what we were looking for. Very convenient location, our dog loved it, and many nights we sat out on the porch and ate our dinner and played cards. We had a great vacation.
This place was perfect! Awesome yard for the dog to run around on, super clean and has everything you need. Will be coming back to take advantage of the trail systems!
I really enjoyed my get away. I wanted some time alone in the woods and I got it. Feels like you’re off the grid but close enough to have access to everything you might need. Linda is very helpful and just up the road should you need her. I’m already thinking of booking another trip with a friend.
Awesome stay! Cabin by the lake in the calm and quiet. Had an amazing view! The town everyone was just really nice! If you need a get away this would deff be it. Will do it again!
The quaint, cozy cabin is always spotless when we arrive. Linda and David are readily available if you need anything. If you like snowmobiling, 4 wheelers or wandering around back roads, this is the perfect spot! This is the only place I'll stay up north.
Very cute cabin with all the amenities you would possibly need. ATV trails and lots of wildlife nearby. Hosts are excellent communicators. Highly recommend for an “unplugged” getaway!
The hosts were very nice, helpful, and responsive. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The parking area was large so it was easy to maneuver a truck towing 2 snowmobiles.
The location was exactly as shown and convenient to Pittsburg restaurants. Right on the ATV trail. Host was extremely responsive!! The camp was very clean!! Thank you Linda
Perfect for our getaway. The husband and I were looking for a quiet place were we could celebrate out anniversary and do some snowmobile riding. Trail was easily accessible from the property and the owners were so accommodating and easy to communicate with. We would definitely be wanting to rent this summer.
Great little unplugged getaway. Solar power was great when most in Pittsburg lost power due to winds. Owners were attentive and accommodating. We will be back.

About the host
Hosted by David and Linda Chappell
Our log cabin was built by owners in 1988-1989 from a log cabin kit. It was originally set up at the Big E in Massachusetts before being disassembled and then reassembled at its current location. The cabin sits on the edge of the old family farm. One owner - who himself married his sweetheart at the camp 30 years ago. A true vacation paradise that is as special to us as it will be to you.
What makes this property unique
