Take your morning Joe out on the front porch and gaze at the dazzling Gulf of Mexico. A short stroll to the pool delivers the Cape’s breathtaking beach scenery. Amble down the boardwalk to the gorgeous shore and bury your feet in the warm, white sand. There’s plenty of level beach to play Bocce Ball, throw a frisbee, or just kick back and watch the waves roll in. Walk or jog along the coastline and marvel at the catches shore fishermen haul in.

Feel free to borrow our bikes and ride Loggerhead bike trail to the bait shop or grab a scoop of ice-cream. Nearby St Joseph Peninsula State Park was rated America's No. 1 beach. Kayak or snorkel around in Port Saint Joe Bay's clear water. You'll discover all types of marine life such as dolphins, fish, seahorses, octopuses, and more. The house is only ten miles from historic Port St Joe, our bayside town with quaint, locally-owned boutique shops, art galleries and restaurants serving fresh seafood, wood-fired pizza, and more. Fine dining at Provisions is a local favorite.

Retreat back to The Peaceful Pelican's back porch and take in the setting sun gathered around a crackling fire. Play a game of corn hole while you take in the scenery.

Perfect Beach Vacation

This property is exactly as listed. The bedrooms had plenty of room and the bonus shower downstairs was a plus after a day on the sand. I brought my boat and although it was a tight squeeze we were able to park it in the driveway. The house is well appointed with all the necessary kitchen utensils and a nice gas grill. My boys loved the bicycles and access to the community pool. I would definitely recommend staying here and will again in the future. We have found our annual place on the cape!

Family Fall Break

This was the perfect place for our family fall break. The house was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed spending time on both of the porches and using the fire pit at night. The kids really enjoyed playing the game room, riding their bikes around the neighborhood, and swimming at the community pool. It was just a short walk to the beach. We loved our stay and will definitely come back.

Excellent Home!

This was an absolutely beautiful home and my family loved our stay here and did not want to leave! It is well stocked with everything you need (and much more than I've experienced in other homes). We felt right at home here. The owners were very responsive and helpful with our questions. The porches are an excellent spot to unwind. It was a convenient drive to the Cape and Port St Joe. It's about a 5-6 min walk to the beach when taking gear down. There's a golf cart path down, but you can't make it all the way on the beach. From years of going to this beach and having access I will say this is the only negative I found in this neighborhood. I highly recommend this property. We made some unforgetable memories during our stay!

Perfect location

What a beautiful vacation home in a nice, gated community. We were pleasantly surprised at how close the walk was to the beach and community pool. We usually try to stay right on the water, but I could still see the ocean from the master bedroom balcony, so I was completely satisfied. Kitchen was well-stocked and the grill was great to use! It was pretty hot and muggy while we were there, but the fire pit area would’ve been excellent in the spring or fall. Everything was very clean and owner was very communicative. Perfect week at the beach!!

Great neighborhood and family vacation spot!

We had a great time at Ryan’s house with our three kids and my parents. The house is in a great location close to the pool and beach. Also not far from Port St. Joe.

Perfect Neighborhood

We love this neighborhood. So much space at the beach bc you are near the Air Force base, the pool rarely has people, my kids freely ride their bikes. The house was very clean and perfect distance to the beach maybe 3 min. Our favorite thing was the screened in porch where we ate all our meals and played lots of cards. The house was well stocked with more than anything other location we have stayed at. I would recommend having a fire out back we grilled hotdogs and marshmallows! Would love to come back!

5 star experience

We had a wonderful stay at the Peaceful Pelican. It was our first time to Cape San Blas and it did not disappoint. The check in process was a breeze. Ryan was very responsive on all the details. Christy provided some suggestions on where to eat after a long trip in. The neighborhood felt safe as it's a gated community. The house itself had everything you needed and was impeccably clean. It was only a 4 min walk to the beach and the community pool was even closer. The house was very comfortable and it didn't feel like we were staying in someone else's house. Can't wait to go back. Thank you Ryan and Christy!

Fantastic Peaceful Pelican

The Peaceful Pelican was a wonderful place to spend our summer vacation. Ryan was responsive in our booking process and we had all required entry codes and access upon arrival. The home has everything we could need, including small kitchen appliances and cookware that are often missing in other homes, books and games, and televisions for indoor time. The home is tastefully decorated and the screened porches with fans are a great touch. The pool was peaceful with great ocean and beach views and the location next to the Air Force property provides isolation on the beach. We enjoy the donuts and ice cream on the Cape and the oysters and seafood in Apalachicola, which is a nearby drive. Recommend you book your stay at the Peaceful Pelican.

Perfect Reboot for the family!

Spring Break 2021!

The house was beautiful, definitely one of the nicest homes we’ve stayed in over our 10 years vacationing in the area. It was so thoughtfully prepared-incredibly clean upon arrival, awesome games and books for all ages, and a kitchen stocked like you were in your own home. The neighborhood is gated and uncrowded, even on spring break. The ocean water was a little cold for the adults, but the kids didn’t care. The community pool was heated and was perfect on the red flag days the kids (and adults) couldn’t play in the water at the beach. We surf fished and caught some whiting and catfish-met neighbors that have been fishing that area for many years and saw some awesome pictures of their previous catches right in front of the boardwalk. We also went kayaking at the state park and did the boardwalk at Salinas park. We tried to make the walk down to the Donna Kay, but the little ones got tired and we turned back. Adults and older kids could definitely make the walk-you can see it from the beach in front of the boardwalk-probably about a mile down. The area has made a lot of growth since Michael, but the businesses are still struggling for help since the area has picked up. Be patient with them and relax! We will continue to visit this area for years to come and hopefully this home if it is available! Thank you so much for sharing this place with us, it’s a true gem!

This property was exactly what we wanted for our family vacation.

We had plenty of room for both families. The owners were awesome to work with and everything was very well cleaned before our arrival. The pool was heated and the beach was a short walk from the house. We are ready to book again.

Spring Break 2021

We’ve stayed on CSB several times, but this was our first time staying in the Jubilation neighborhood. We’ll be back! It’s the perfect location. Our boys, 15 & 11 rode the bikes provided through the neighborhood daily, pool and beach were a short walk from the house, the beach cart was a great help. House was thoughtfully appointed, kitchen had everything needed for cooking our meals. Overall it was a great house for a family vacation!

Perfect House and Great Location!

This house is the perfect location with quick access to the beach/pool and very close to all that Cape San Blas has to offer. It is a short bike ride (bikes included!) to Salinas park and perfect access to a long stroll down the beach to “Donna Kay”. The house itself is a great setup for a family. It has a very well equipped kitchen, smart TVs, and a great beach cart for transport! Christy and Ryan were great hosts who communicated throughout the process and even answered texts during our stay. This house is one of the best at Cape San Blas. Can’t wait to stay there again!
