I liked the house alot. It had a lower level where the young adult guys could gather (cousins) while a place upstairs or on the spacious deck for others. Plenty of bedrooms for our crew. The host was helpful getting a new Keruig when the old one broke down. It is such a cute area with a quaint downtown & right near the lake. I would recommend it to families & friends alike!
This is a nice home with lots of bedrooms. It is in a quiet neighborhood. The host was responsive.
As a group of six friends, we found the living room/kitchen to be small for our needs. There were only four chairs for the table so dining together was a challenge. Also the living room only had two chairs and a small couch.

Great house but unexpected fees
The house was great to stay in and it was very clean. It was nice to have all updated appliances. My friends and family had a great time.
I was not happy with the fact that the host tried charging me $500 for a party fee and extra guests. On the website it states "no events". An "event" is not clearly defined. Anytime people get together it's classified as an event. We had people come and go and we got charged an additional $250. None of these extra charges were listed on the property information.
The host compromised and I only had to pay $250. Again, the house was great but it was unfortunate how it had to end.
We stayed here for a week during a large event in Madison. The drive there wasn’t too bad, 20 minutes from the city. The house was clean and organized when we arrived. Great communication with the host. The only thing we wish was there was a washer and dryer considering we had a large group and stayed for a week. Overall great place!
We had a wonderful time staying here over the Fourth of July with our family. The house is very nice and in a quite neighborhood. When we arrived, everything was as expected. Very clean and Angelique is a great host. There was a Keurig coffee bar complete with K-Cups, cream and sugar. The bedrooms are roomy and very comfortable beds and the kitchen is fully equipped for whatever you want to make. The deck is huge and has plenty of furniture for your group to enjoy and there is even a fire pit in the backyard although we didn't have a chance to use it. I would strongly recommend this property to anyone and we have already reserved it for next year.
This property was really great. Very Clean and all the kitchen things like pots, pans, utensils were all there and great shape. We used the house to go back and forth to a Wedding at Over the Vines and it was absolutely perfect. Better than any hotel and easy to get anywhere. We only regret not having enough time to enjoy all the activities around the little town. I would recommend this place.
Good size property, well appointed with many amenities and plenty of things to do. Lake is about a 7-10 minute walk and the beach has a shed with plenty of toys.
We spent a nice 4th of July weekend at the lake house with my extended family (5 kids included!) The walk to the lake was super easy and the private neighborhood beach was never very crowded. We did find the pay per use beach down the other side of the lake to be cleaner water and a little more fun for our little ones on the last day, as the water got pretty dirty at the private area. We had a few things not exactly how we expected when we arrived at the property the first night but the host came over quickly and did her best to resolve all our concerns. After that we had great communication. I would recommend this property to anyone that needs lots of bedrooms and loves nature. We saw a beautiful crane eating fish out of the lake less than 20 ft away on the private neighborhood beach and a bald eagle in the trees just above the house! Book it!
We originally this property on another site and ran into some obstacles renting. The renter was wonderful with flexibility and communication to help us out, and the house and neighborhood were beautiful when we arrived. Very well furnished and cleaned and led to a great weekend. Thanks so much Angelique!
