The property itself was very pretty. That being said, the price is already very high for how long of a drive it is, along with a very high deposit that we haven’t gotten back as of writing this. We left the property in good condition and did our best to follow the numerous rules (you have to take your shoes off, you have to turn on the water yourself, which I could not figure out and had to get someone else to do, you have remove all your trash yourself, just to name a few). We did all this and more. If we get our deposit back, I will update the review, but it’s been 2 weeks already. The property itself felt very landlord special. Very basic amenities. Nice to have a grill, but the beds were stiff as boards, the showers were cheap and sprayed water everywhere, and there were details that should’ve been there at this price point that just weren’t. No rug or coffee table in the living room. With the exception of the dining room, none of the living spaces had adequate comfortable seating for the number of guests it can accommodate. The only somewhat comfortable space for us all to gather was the deck, which felt very uncomfortable because there was a ring camera on us at all times. We also felt that the ac was being controlled externally or was not nearly powerful enough, as the temperature continued to climb even after turning it on. None of us slept well because of this and the firmness of the beds. I am not one to leave bad reviews, but I’d honestly rather camp.
