Great Place!

This place is perfect! It has all the amenities, including a pool and hot tub right next to the private beach, and a bigger pool and hot tub near the main lodge. We had several soccer friends staying on the property, and it was an amazing place to all hang.

Great location and comfortable accommodations.

Perfect location for ski/board week in Tahoe. 5 min to Heavenly California base lodge, short walk to town and plenty of space for 2-3 people. Enjoyed fireplace and kitchen stocked well for cooking/eating in. Would rebook again!

Summer @ Lake Tahoe

Upon our arrival everything went well, easy check-in and check out. The home was clean and equip with all amenities needed during our stay. Since it was summer the place was hot and has no AC unit, so we had to have sliding doors open the whole stay. Other than that we will consider staying at this facility again.

Family Fun 🤩

This was so perfect. One bedroom for us and the kids had a fold out couch and the loft with a half bath. We used the kitchen everyday. Had a blast skiing, hot tubbing and the kids even played in the pool. This unit is awesome!

We Loved It

It’s perfect location with a shuttle to and from Heavenly ski mountain and the casinos. Walk to the lake. Hot tub and slightly heated pool that the kids enjoyed even in the snow. The unit is clean and warm. Can cook in or walk to restaurants and Whole Foods. We would stay again for sure.

Comfortable stay in the mountains!

Unit was clean and well appointed. Bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of towels and toiletries. Lots of room for a 1 bedroom + loft. Sauna was a hit as were the hot tubs and pools. Staff was very friendly. Housekeeping and maintenance staff all would say hello when you walked past. Front desk had great recommendations for restaurants as well! Location is hard to beat. Whole Foods across the street was great for a meal in. The beach is the best in South Lake Tahoe and the fire pits would keep you warm when the sun went down. Will definitely be back to stay here!

Misleading pictures

The condo was dark, dingy, musty and dated. The pictures make the rental look bright and welcoming. There are no windows to open so we had to open both sliders to air the musty smell out. The location is very centrally located and the unit was clean, but the accommodations were lacking. We ended up leaving a day early because of it.

Decent but likely wouldn’t stay again….

Great location and private beach! The unit is a bit dated and musty smelling. Small AC unit doesn’t blow cold at all…slightly warm at 78-79 degrees in the condo in the afternoon with windows open and fans blowing. Kitchen is “bare bones” minimum. The check in process with Vacasa was somewhat tedious having to go to their office at 3pm (not a minute before!) to acquire a door code and info packet they could have easily texted or emailed to you. We had a fabulous time in Tahoe as usual… but wouldn’t stay in this unit again.

Disappointed

Not satisfied with this property. Was not clean, AC unit was not working properly. Shower curtain rod was barely hanging by a screw. Furniture needs to be cleaned. Windows, Screens & floors were dirty. Hard to communicate with VRBO to address these problems. We ended up sweltering for 5 days in this unit.

Not a condo

This is a hotel room, not a condo as listed. It is in a hotel, privately owned apparently but does not feel like a condo at all. We certainly expected a condo given what we were charged for the unit. Kitchen is small, not equipped (was the first rental property we stayed at that didn't even have salt), has 2 mini sized fridges instead of a normal size fridge, miniature stove/oven. You go through a hotel lobby to get to the unit. Master bedroom bed is very uncomfortable. Unit was nicely cleaned other than the floors and it is jn a great location.

Terrible property! Beware!! Nothing like pictures

This place looks nothing like the pictures so beware!! It is dark, dirty and has a musty smell. The couches are so filthy that we placed sheets over the top just to sit on them. The master bed was extremely uncomfortable and I woke up each morning sore from it. During our stay there were construction workers on our balcony. They taped up all the windows so we couldn’t get fresh air or see out the windows. We weren’t warned about this. The only good thing about this place was it’s private beach. If they would replace the furniture, the beds and paint the walls white, this place would be fabulous.

good location, wonderful beach, pool and hot tub were good, fitness center had what I needed. Unit did not look like the photos, very dark and stagnant. Only air flow in living area came from a sliding door. Stained uncomfortable furniture, visible dust, sticky rings on the counter. Kitchen had ONE glass for a unit serving 4, we had to buy our own can opener, not as described "well-stocked kitchen" Worst thing, upon checking in there was a huge duffel bag full of dirty linens and a weeping bag of garbage in the hall leading to the bedroom.Immediately reported to rental agency, it took over 18 hours and several texts before it was resolved, this was after we were told, twice, there was an area where we could dump it ourselves. Would stay in Lakeland again, avoid this unit.

Not clean - needs to be updated

We arrived and the bed wasn’t made. I had to hunt around for the sheets and the bedspread was wadded up in a ball in the closet. The place really needs an update. It had 3 old coffee mugs and no glassware bigger than 6 oz. I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but for the money, I’d stay somewhere else.

Ripe for a renovation

The unit is very clean, but it is extremely dated and dark. There is no overhead lighting and the lamps don’t help much because the paint is dark and so is the ceiling. There is no view of the lake because there is an enormous pine tree blocking the view. One of the kitchen’s 2 minifridges (there’s not a regular size fridge) is too cold and ruined everything we put in it. The king size bed is not very comfortable. The queen bed in the sleeping loft is a bit better. The only heat source in the living room is either the stove or a space heater that looks like a fire hazard. The location is good—a mile to town. We like to walk so it worked for us. The condo complex is also very dated and dingy. Time for a reno!! Yes despite all this, we really did enjoy our stay in Lake Tahoe, but more because the skiing and weather were fabulous. It was easy to drive to Stagecoach Lodge and to park there as well.
