The house was very nice, comfortable and clean and the cooler worked great! We stayed during an “Excessive Heat Wave” but were cool in the house. It was a great oasis from the outside.
The host was very helpful and kept in touch for everything we needed. This was a great stay.
We wanted to visit the West Rim and wanted to stay close by. The house was clean and comfortable. Easy to get in and out. We had such fun exploring the backyard and sitting to watch the sunset.
The only complaint was that the washing machine wasn’t working. Hopefully that’s taken care of by now. 10/10 would stay here again.
Very convenient for a short visit for going to the Grand Canyon. The beds were very firm and if you have a group, need to spread out showers because we ran out of hot water very quickly. For the price, the location and convenience can't be beat though!
We went during a heat wave, which we thought would not be an issue as the place is listed as having AC. The AC didn’t work, the coolest it got down to was 80 degrees. We all ended up sleeping in the main room under the one vent which had a little air flow. The last day the power was flickering on and off and we ended up leaving early because the power was out. We were promised a refund from the homeowner and that was never honored. I would not ever stay here again.
Over all entirely loved our stay at boathouse in Meadview. Perfect location between Skywalk, West Rim of Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, and Las Vegas. This house has beautiful views and very private. Only concern was we arrived after dark and had to figure out how to turn gas on for heat. Definitely would of appreciated if house gas was turned on and house warmed for arrival. Then woke up to gas smell because we hadn't been instructed hiw to light pilot light stove and oven. We read the binder, definitely could of used more details on what needed to be done upon arrival. Our family definitely enjoyed our stay and would recommend this host and location.
Visiting parents and needed a place for the whole family to fit. Place was big enough for everyone to sleep. Beds were comfortable and place was clean.
Perfect for visit to West Rim of Grand Canyon, Joshua Trees........
Property was spacious! Lots of extras in the kitchen and bathrooms! Nice desert feel! We loved the porch swing and watching the moles at night. Not much in the area for groceries so prepare ahead of time. We flew in to Phoenix and drove up. We stopped in Kingman for supplies! Great experience and the host was available immediately for questions!
Overall our stay was great. This property was just what we needed. The house was cute and clean except a few stains on the carpet. They also provided hygiene items in case you forgot something. We explored the Grand Canyon and the Hoover dam during our stay. Only two things would have made it better. 1. More details on amenities in the area, we didn’t bring much food with us and groceries are very limited in the community. 2. We were waking up anyway but the water delivery was early on a Sunday morning. The deliver was a little loud and would have woken us up if we were still sleeping. Still we would consider staying here again.
