So close you can smell the ocean!!
I was looking forward to my family's first trip to NC & the beach there. Man, it did NOT disappoint. We stayed on the first floor which was nice as there was not many stairs to climb to get to our unit. The bedrooms were nice and bathrooms had good space. Plenty of room to unwind in the living room and balcony was nice to sit on to enjoy a cup of coffee or a nightcap and just enjoying the breeze by the ocean. My wife was OVERJOYED at the kitchen as it was the most stocked kitchen of any rental we have used. It will have any utensils you need. We made several meals throughout our stay there so the kitchen was a perfect size for the unit. One of the best parts was the beach was a 1 minute, 20 second walk once we walked out the front door (my wife timed it) so you don't have to go far to enjoy the beach. It was not crowded at all and didn't seem "touristy". Did I mention the FULLY STOCKED beach closet? Several chairs, 2 umbrellas, a cart and plenty of beach toys. Close enough to Wilmington to take in the sights as we spent a whole day there and also close enough to head to Kure Beach for breakfast, like we did one morning. If there was ANYTHING that could improve, it would be the wi-fi strength but it was not a big deal as we really only needed it at night when we were in for good for streaming on the TVs. Great communication by owners and all questions answered quickly. Would recommend to anyone and we will be back!!!
