About this property
Sweett | Cozy Duomo II
This classy 1-bedroom vacation apartment, the Cozy Duomo II, is located just a few steps from Milan’s magnificent Duomo Cathedral. Known for its grand architecture, upscale shopping, chic cafes, and famous landmarks, this lively neighbourhood is home to many locals and welcomes tourists. Stroll to Milan’s famous Via Montenapoleone shopping area (5 min), or to the historic Galleria Vittorio Emanuele for upscale bars and cafes. Relax or exercise in the Milan’s largest park, Parco Sempione, which includes the historical museums of Sforzesco Castle (15 min). The Duomo metro and light rail stations are just meters away (2 min).
Refurbished by our local interior designer, this inviting apartment offers a delightful getaway in the heart of Milan. Light-wood flooring and natural sunlight delicately complement the classic black and white colour scheme, creating a contemporary ambience. An open plan kitchen and living area, and a plush queen-sized bed provide the comforts of home. Premium amenities include free WiFi, cable TV, hotel beds and linens, luxury toiletries, and a Nespresso machine.
Ideal for a solo traveller or romantic couple’s retreat, this centrally located apartment allows you to feel right at home in Milan.
Mind that the privilege to experience such an exclusive location only a few steps from the Piazza Del Duomo might come with some noisy moments.
The air conditioning, which is managed by the building, will be activated starting the last week of May in accordance with sustainability guidelines.
This central neighborhood is known for its medieval architecture -- in particular, the Duomo Cathedral (2 min walk), the third-largest cathedral in the world. Tour Milan’s many museums, such as the world-famous Brera Gallery (15 min walk) and the Sforzesco Castle (18 min walk), or admire the antique architectural marvels that line the neighborhood’s streets. No visit to Milan would be complete without a shopping trip; stock up on designer clothes at the dozens of clothing stores within 2 minutes of the apartment. There are multiple bus stops right outside the door, giving you full access to the city.
Milan Linate is the closest airport to the city center (8 km away). It’s a small airport so you will only find close destinations (mostly Italy and Europe) and flights largely operated by national carriers such as Alitalia, Air France, and Lufthansa. A few low-cost Easyjet flights do arrive here but not many.
Malpensa is Milan’s largest airport. It’s over 50 km from the city center and 40 km to Rho Fiera. It will definitely be your destination if you’re on a long-haul flight, and it’s also the hub of choice for several low-cost airlines including Wizz Air, Easyjet, and Vueling. It has two terminals; Terminal 2 is Easyjet and Wizz Air’s kingdom, Terminal 1 is for everything else.
This one isn’t actually in Milan! Bergamo airport is located 50 km east of Milan. However, it has become known as ‘Milan Bergamo’ thanks to low-cost airlines (Ryanair first and foremost) that use it as their hub of choice. Tickets to Bergamo are usually cheaper than Linate or Malpensa, and good connections to the city make this airport a good choice, especially for budget travelers.
