Our 2-bedroom, 1 bath condo is all about its exceptional location. Located just a block from Main Street in downtown Ouray, this condo is just a short walk to everything that Ouray offers!

There is street parking for guests on 5th Avenue, facing the condo building.

This condo features a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, an electric fireplace, and an outdoor patio with a gas grill. Although this unit doesn't have a dedicated washer and dryer, there is coin-operated guest laundry in the complex's common area.

Ice climbing at the world-famous Ouray Ice Park boasts more than 150 named ice and mixed climbs, spanning almost 2 miles of the Uncompahgre Gorge. Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount. In contrast, cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

Awesome Condo One Block from Main Street

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an awesome experience at the Alpenglow Condo. It was a very affordable Condo in Ouray and met all of our needs. The Condo had nice beds, nice living room and a serviceable kitchen. The kitchen met all of our needs for days we cooked. It also had a great grill outside. One block away is Main Street. This helped eliminate having to worry about driving and parking to go eat. You were also a couple blocks away from jeep rentals, shopping and adventure rentals. The staff is beyond friendly and helpful. They are outstanding and easy to work with when needed. We will definitely stay here again when in Ouray

Comfortable and good location

The place was perfect for two. Clean, adequately accessorized and a great location close to everything in Town. Easy parking away from the crowds. This is a ground floor unit. Really nice to avoid the stairs. Only one issue - the floor for the unit above is very noisy. You can hear every footstep. It wasn’t the tenants, it’s an old floor.

Great spot in the heart of town

Super cute place on a quiet road but right off the main area of town. Walking distance to restaurants and beautiful views. Perfect for our family of four!

Ouray Stay

Overall enjoyed the stay. The carpet had pet stains that I wasn't pleased with. The property had no air conditioning which wasn't terrible but I feel that it should have been in the description of the property not in the check in process after it was already paid for. Ceiling fans in the bedroom would help a lot with this and help drown out the squeaky floors from the people upstairs walking around, quite noisy.

Convenient Location

Reviewer Comments: Location was convenient but there were some serious draw backs: having to download an app to check in was not convenient while traveling in a low reception area (thanks for texting the code though!), the wifi was extremely poor, the condo was more like a basement apartment (not clear from pics), unfortunately the neighbors above were really loud and you could hear everything (!), there was a dirty towel hanging behind the bathroom door, beds were ok but not comfy, and would have Loved a washer and dryer (my bad for not checking amenities in a condo). All in all a great location and very practical and last minute, but would not get again. Last but not least, overpriced. It was the most expensive stay on my trip and my least favorite.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This 2 bedroom unit is located in a quiet street just on Ouray’s Main Street. The unit is cozy. The furnishing are dated. We had someone in the unit above us for a couple nights. We could hear everything and when they walked it was very noisy. That is the biggest complaint. Also, I rented this through Expedia where it had a nightly rate of $275. However, once all the fees/taxes were added in, it was over $400 a night. Be aware how much gets added to your rental price.

Some good things; some not so good

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The good: The bed was very comfortable and the shower was decent: good water pressure and temp. The fireplace was a nice touch and the new microwave was great. Overall it was a quiet place, great location, and mgmt company very responsive. The not so good: The baseboard heaters were not working. In the primary bedroom, the heat would not shut off even though we turned the dial all the way to off. In the secondary bedroom the heat wouldn't come on. The maintenance guy said he fixed the one that wouldn't heat, but it stayed cold. He flipped the breaker to turn off the heat in the other bedroom (!). The shower curtain liner was disgusting (too long, discolored) and the sofa was a disgrace--old, worn and grimy-looking. The area rugs and mats looked filthy. The potholders no longer worked--we burned our fingers using them! Owner needs to get new sofa, rugs, potholders, shower curtain liner. I've stayed in Alpenglow many times--this is the worst unit I've seen. Final note: Salt does not fix the slick tile around the stairs. It just melts the ice--and the tiles are slippery when wet.

Fantastic location to downtown Ouray

Very nice, modern condo with all the conveniences that you might find at a similarly priced hotel/vacation spot. Our only regret was the 1980's style coffee maker (auto drip) and the faulty TV/Cable that we barely used in between outdoor excursions. For families with kids, the TV is a must- it needs to work consistently. We found it difficult to keep DISH engaged in order to watch local channels. Other than that- it was a great stay and access to downtown venues was a simple walk to main street. Will definitely consider staying here again in the future. T.M. Stirman McKinney, Texas

Great location

The property was one block off the main street, two blocks from the only grocery store in town, which by the way had a GREAT meat market and fairly priced. There are many restaurants within a few blocks. Staying in Ouray, puts you within an hour of Black Canyon of the Gunnison, Telluride and Silverton. We enjoyed all three, in addition to Ouray. Highly recommend this stay.
