About this property

2021 Wildwood Grand Lodge 42FK

Located just 10 miles from downtown Gatlinburg right off US-321, Miss Daisy’s Lodge is a 2021 Wildwood Grand Lodge 42FK Park Model RV. She is set up on Lot 199 located in the Outdoor Resorts of Gatlinburg (ORG). As we own the lot she sits on, there are no additional resort/campground fees due by anyone renting her from us.

Miss Daisy’s Lodge will comfortably sleep a total of 10 people. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, while the living room has two sleeper sofas that each make into full size beds. The upstairs loft is a fantastic hideout for kids and will sleep 5 to 6 (Teddy Bear Mattresses). The living room also includes theater seating across from a 50” TV, fireplace & stereo system!

The kitchen is fully stocked w/pots, pans, dishes, etc. It includes a full-size residential refrigerator w/ice maker, a full-size microwave, residential oven/ 3 burner stove, coffee maker, air fryer, toaster and a large pantry. The kitchen sink is a double deep sink for ease of cleanup after dinner at the Lodge. The kitchen table will sit 4 comfortably next to large windows with a view of the resort. The only thing you should need in the kitchen is food & drinks.

The bathroom at the Lodge has a porcelain toilet and a large vanity w/sink. The full-size shower is nice after a long day of playing in the mountains. We have also stocked the bathroom with towels, washcloths, and toilet paper to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We offer sheets, blankets, pillows & pillowcases for the queen bed, both sleeper sofas, and the Teddy Bear mattresses. In addition to the queen bed in the master bedroom, we have a 32” TV & DVD player. The master also includes a large dresser, a closet for hanging clothes, and a nightstand next to the bed with both 110 outlets & USB outlets for charging phones & tablets. Another closet in the master has an upright washer/dryer (coming soon).

The outside of the Lodge hasn’t been forgotten either. A large electric awning provides much needed summertime shade while listening to your outside speakers. We have outdoor seating for 10 people and a fire pit, so nights are truly enjoyable! The charcoal grill sits next to a table for those nights of grilling & eating outside.

You can relax by one of two pools – an adults only pool or the family pool. If you like to fish, ORG also offers a stocked lake as well as two mountain streams that run through it. Additionally, the resort offers basketball courts, miniature golf, a children’s playground, game room, and picnic areas, as well as a coin-operated laundry onsite. ORG is conveniently located near most of the activities the Smoky Mountains have to offer. It is literally across the street from the Smoky Mountains National Park, less than a mile from Bent Creek Golf Course, 10 miles from downtown Gatlinburg, 15 miles from Pigeon Forge & I-40, 20 miles from Sevierville and 25 miles from Townsend & Newport.

Miss Daisy’s Lodge has long been a dream for my wife & me. Ever since I left the Navy in 1994 and moved to East Tennessee, we have dreamed of owning a cabin in the mountains. Raising three children may have put that dream on pause for a time, but we now find ourselves being able to share that dream with both our children & grandchildren. Miss Daisy’s Lodge may not be your typical cabin in the mountains, but we have gone out of our way to make it look & feel like a mountain cabin. Honestly in Outdoor Resorts of Gatlinburg with all the amenities, we feel she is better than any mountain cabin we could have bought. Please take a minute to look at all our pictures, both of our new “cabin” and of the resort as well. We think you will find it as appealing as we have!

This is in a well established RV park that is truly a neighborhood. Most lots are beautifully landscaped. Just beautiful to walk around. Lots to do- swimming, air hockey, pool, mini golf and basketball. Miss Daisy has a wonderful kitchen and bathroom. The beds could be more comfortable. There is a bbq and fire pit

Lovely stay
Our family of five and our dog had a great stay. Everything was as advertised. Our boys loved the loft area. The location was nice, off the busy strip but not too far. It was also close to some great family hikes. We would definitely stay there again!

A very nice place to stay.
We enjoyed our stay at Miss Daisey's Lodge. It was clean and enjoyable. We did have a minor issue but it was resolved very quickly. If we are in the area again we will try to use this location again!

Nice place
The park and RV were very nice. Plenty of room and decorated nicely. Having the fireplace was nice and heated the RV up quickly. The people we met in the park were very nice. It also has a nice laundry facility on site. We enjoyed walking the dogs through the park and had a great stay. The owner was very nice when we had to call for something. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall great stay. Only two inconveniences were Pool closed because of afternoon rain and did not reopen hours after it cleared up and codes for gate and lock box Vrbo sent me were out of date. Took quite a while to check in.

Summer Vacation
The RV was a great place, with plenty of room for the 5 of us. The kids enjoyed having options where they could sleep at. There was plenty of storage space. It was far enough from town to enjoy the peace and quiet, however it was right by the road so you can hear the cars pass by. The amenities that the resort have was great. Anytime I messaged the owners they responded back to us in no time. The bed in the master bedroom was uncomfortable. Thats the only bad thing we have to say about it. We would definitely stay here again.

Great vacation getaway
We truly enjoyed our stay here. It was a close proximity to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and the camper exceeded our expectations. The only negative was that we planned on using the grill but found it to be rusted out only after we bought all the meat for grilling on our way there.

Beautiful scenery
Nice facility, however the game room and such were not open for use as often as we anticipated. The mountains in the area were gorgeous, close to downtown Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountain National Park. Only negative - we had tight sleeping quarters, not sure if it will indeed sleep 10ppl comfortably, we are a family if 7 and it was tight.

The pictures are great but did the actually property no justice! Absolutely beautiful place to stay. The owners were very friendly and very responsive. The campground itself was nice and everyone was very friendly the only downfall is the campers are so many that they are literally right on top of each other. We would love to stay again for sure!

Miss Daisy's was an awesome experience! Upon arrival the outside was cute and inviting. When we opened the door, WOW, clean, comfortable, and very nice. The home was in a great location. Close to Gatlinburg and all the restaurants, grocery stores, hiking, and the beautiful mountains. We will be back!

Camper
Our stay was nice and the camper was very nice. My only complaints were that we had to supply a lot of our own essentials such as toilet paper, trash bags, hand soap, and cleaning essentials. Toilet paper and trash bags were provided but only 2 of each were left and we stayed for 6 days. There was no hand soap in the bath room dispenser and very limited cleaning supplies.

Trip to Gatlinburg
My initial impression of the property owner was positive. I hurt my back and he allowed me to switch weeks for our trip and I did appreciate that very much. Upon arriving at the property, check in was good. It stated in the description that there was parking for 2 vehicles but there was not much space for my large SUV. Also, the description said there was an outdoor grill, so I purchased some items to grill. When we got there, I noticed two propane cylinders and a grill cover on the ground at the edge of the patio. So, we had a cover and propane but no grill. There was no explanation of why. That was very disappointing because there's not much room to cook inside and a grill would've been nice. The property also stated could occupy 10 people. There were 6 of us and there wasn't much room at all. Thankfully I brought washcloths from home because there were only four or five. Hardly enough for 10 people. Two people from our group slept on the pull-out couches. However, there was not bedding for both of them. One of my kids had to use a sheet for a blanket the first night and my daughter found a blanket in a drawer in the bedroom but when she put it on the bed it was still wet. So, that first night she had a cold wet blanket to use. The next day I went to Wal-Mart to buy two blankets. So, I would recommend the owners getting some extra blankets. The housekeepers could've have done a better job as well. The ceiling fan in the living area was really bad. There had to be an inch of dust on it. The shower door had a thick layer of mold on it. When the water was running the mold was flaking off. My kids found Legos all over the carpet upstairs so that tells me that housekeeping most likely didn't vacuum after the last guest. To top it all off, I was charged $35.00 for a lost guest book. There were so many knick-knacks and flower arrangements around and there was just no room for these items. I put the guest book in a drawer and the housekeepers said it was missing. I have absolutely no use for someone's guest book. I'm sure no one has a use for it. So, beware if you stay here that you don't move anything because you may be accused of stealing. Also, make sure you bring blankets, because there's only one extra and bring washcloths. You might also want to bring a pillow with some filling in it. No fault of the owners the campground is quite far from everything. Pigeon Forge was a good 35 minutes away. We spent a lot of time driving.

Great Tims
This property was all that the description said it was. A map of the facility the first night would have helped us find it a lot easier. My suggestion would be to make sure to arrive during the day and not during a monsoon. The unit was clean and near everything we wanted to do. The parking was tight for a extended cab truck but worked parking sideways. Everyone was very friendly at the facility. I would stay there again.

I'm a U.S. Navy Veteran, Father of three, and Grandfather of four. My wife & I live ~ 50 miles west of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park (Cades Cove Entrance) and in my opinion, some of the most beautiful scenery our great country has to offer. Of course, there is no better way to see and enjoy that landscape up close than there is by camping! Some of my best memories growing up were the weekends I spent with my Grandparents camping, and I always wanted to give those same type of memories to my Grandchildren! My wife & I have truly enjoyed our time spent camping and especially the times we have spent with our grandchildren and hope to be able to give those same type of memories to others!

What makes this property unique

Please be aware that bears do frequently walk though the resort and often get into any trash left outside! Dozens of owners within the resort have captured video of bears strolling through the resort as well. With that said we have added outdoor cameras on both sides of the RV in hopes of capturing video ourselves to post on our website. The cameras are only capturing video and the sound is turned off.
