Fantastique séjour au milieu des oliviers

Nous avons eu la chance de passer 10 jours à la Bastide au mois d’août, au milieu des oliviers, avec un coucher de soleil fantastique tous les soirs et de belles nuits calmes et étoilées. La maison est fraîche et extrêmement bien conçue et équipée pour 6 personnes. Les douches sont modernes, les lits confortables, toutes les fenêtres équipées de moustiquaires pour pouvoir dormir en toute tranquillité les fenêtres ouvertes. Enfin une cuisine équipée de façon à pouvoir cuisiner lorsqu’on en a envie, poêles neuves, couteaux qui coupent, plats etc et une plancha au gaz à l’exterieur. Le village est petit et tranquille, petite supérette bien achalandée et boulangerie ouverte tous les matins. Une longue liste d’excursions à faire, courtes a moins de 15min (charmant village de Venasque et sa forêt, délicieux nougat et glaces à Saint Didier) ou un peu plus loin (Mont Ventoux pour les journées chaudes car il y fait plus frais, canoë sur la sorgue, vignobles, randonnées en vélo ou trottinettes VTT etc.

Beautiful Bastide

La Bastide is a beautiful property overlooking Malemort du Comtat. The house itself is very modern with all amenities you could want. The views from the property are absolutely phenomemal - sitting on the patio, glass of local wine in hand, watching the sun set was one of our favourite times. Malemort is well situated for exploring the region with mount Ventaux, the lavendar fields and Avignon, Chateaux Neuf du Pape etc all easily accessible. I would recommend you remember your flip flops as the pool is surrounded by pebbles and I think an information booklet in English (and other languages) would have been really useful. That said, Carole was exceptionally helpful, it was just our poor French that was lacking!! All in all, a fabulous stay - thank you!!!

Just perfect!

Very beautiful & well equipped holiday home. We had a lovely time there. Enjoyed the magnificent view & sunsets from the terrace. Very nice pool which is also children proof.
