Starting the week at the cabin in the mountains with family was an unforgettable experience! Nestled in a peaceful, hidden corner, this cabin is the perfect blend of seclusion and convenience. It’s far enough to offer tranquility and privacy, but still central to all the activities you could want—whether it’s hiking, exploring nearby towns, or just soaking in the stunning mountain views. The best part? It felt like a home away from home, with plenty of space for everyone to relax, unwind, and make lasting memories. There’s something magical about gathering around the fireplace in the evening or stepping outside to breathe in the crisp mountain air. We spent our days adventuring and our nights playing games and sharing stories. The peacefulness of the location made it easy to recharge, while its proximity to everything ensured we never had to go far for fun.I highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking to create special moments with family while enjoying a perfect mix of quiet solitude and access to all the outdoor fun the mountains have to offer. Definitely a hidden gem!
The cabin was everything advertised in the pictures. There was plenty of room for our whole family and the host was very friendly with fast responses and excellent communication. Would definitely recommend!
This place had the cabin feel but still putting you within minutes of the pigeon forge strip for easy access to any activities and restaurants. There is plenty of space/beds and the kitchen seemed to have most things needed for cooking (we didn’t do much of that).
This is a beautiful property and close to so many good things. We loved the Old Mill (and the Pottery House Cafe!) and Big Daddy Pizzeria & arcade, which were all right down off the parkway. When we arrived, the thermostat had been set to eco and it was 80+ degrees in the cabin. We turned it down and waited a few hours before reaching out to Nick. It cooled off to our desired 70-72 overnight, but started rising again the next day so he sent a tech to come look at everything. The tech repaired some holes in the ductwork and finally, by night 3, we were cold and had to raise the temp a couple. It was annoying, but I don’t think it would deter us from staying here again (especially if he gets more box fans LOL!) It was quite warm in the loft where our kids slept even on the “cold” nights (heat rises, we know) but they didn’t seem to mind.
Pros:
-laundry! It was small, but we just ran a load of our clothes every night.
-location!
-Pac-Man arcade set up- kids loved this!
-super easy checkout process- in fact, easiest I’ve ever had!
Cons:
-AC not able to keep loft at temp we like
-Both front and back doors are glass with no blinds/shades/curtains. We rigged the front with a sheet for privacy
-No trash bags? I don’t know if it was overlooked by the cleaners but we had nothing to replace the bags when we emptied the trash
Cabin is tucked away and surrounded by trees, which helps keep any noise from neighboring properties to a minimum. It has easy access to the main strip in Pigeon Forge. Overall it is quiet and peaceful and check in/out is easy.
Everything was perfect. Nick answered our questions quickly even before or booking. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area and will be looking to stay here again next year.
This was our first experience with using vrbo, as we have previously stayed with cabin companies. Our experience did not disappoint and helped us find our yearly go to cabin from here forward. The owner communicated with us before, during, and after our stay to be sure we had everything we needed. The location of the cabin was close to the parkway, as we wanted, and had the perfect size driveway to accommodate our trailer. The cabin was so clean and had everything we needed. We cannot say enough about how pleasant our stay was. Thank you, Nick!
The cabin was just as advertised and very clean! The host was wonderful and super easy to work with and even accommodated us an early check in! The cabin was super conveniently located just 2 minutes off the Parkway. We really enjoyed the hot tub and shuffle board!!!! Highly recommend!
The cabin was easy to find, minutes from the main Parkway street, near all main attractions. The cabin was well kept by owners, nice kitchen, and spacious rooms for a family of 4 with grandparents traveling along. Beds are a bit firm, but for some that’s a preference. The arcade games in the loft area were a hit for my kids, they enjoyed playing pac man. We used the ac heater at night to keep us warm from freezing temperatures outside. The swing on the porch was used each morning by our kids. All in all our family enjoyed our stay at Snuggle Bear Cabin. Thank you!
