Spectacular remodel completed in 2020. Your stay will center around the beautiful great room fireplace or the fun outdoor fire pit. This classy country retreat has 4 BRs, 1st floor has rooms with a king and 2 queens. The 2nd floor has rooms with 1 queen and 2 queens. The second floor also has it's own living room to give adults and children plenty of space. The spacious covered patio has breathtaking sunset views looking down the valley past the "old red" barn and pond. A short drive to Elk mountain ski resort or a bike ride to the Delaware river, truly makes this a chalet for year round fun.

We had a great time! The place was amazing. The owner was easy to get in contact with and responded right back. The place was clean and supplied almost anything we needed. I will definitely return!
This is the 3rd year in a row we have stayed in this house. It's an incredible house, super clean, great personality and a great location for our group. Peter is super responsive and it's a pleasure to stay at this house the past 3 years. Can't wait for year #4!
we were the whole family, the house is excellent, clean, comfortable. very suitable for the whole family, for holidays with children. Everything looks better in pictures, but here! actually much better than in the pictures. highly recommend if you want to relax then go to this house. thanks to the owner, all the questions we had, answered in time. 10 points from 10. We really happy to stay there, we planning come back on summer.
This is our second visit to this lovely mountain retreat. The home is beautiful, clean and well appointed. The layout works well for two families to share. For folks you like to cook the kitchen is ideal. The large inviting family room is perfect for relaxing after a day on the slopes. Easy drive to Elk Mountain. The mudroom and storage set up make it very easy to manage skis and laundry for a family vacation. The owner is exceptionally responsive to inquiries. We’ll be back again for sure!
Fabulous long weekend spent here with 3 families and all our children. Peter provided excellent communication from the start and his home was everything we needed to be comfortable. He went above and beyond to make us welcome, the home was inviting and beds were comfortable and clean. Very tastefully remodeled, and offered ample space for both the children and the adults. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc. Firewood was plentiful, and we could easily connect to our streaming services through the smart TV's. There was a significant snowfall prior to our arrival and the kids enjoyed sledding outside when we weren't off to the slopes. Elk mountain was definitely worth the 45 min drive. I highly recommend this property if you are looking to escape it all and relax comfortably with family or friends!
The property was wonderful. Located very close to our fishing outfitter. The home was very clean, updated and very well organized. I would absolutely stay here again!
This is the 2nd year in a row that I have stayed at this house and its absolutely amazing. The amenities are great, beds are comfortable and the house is exactly what you are looking for in a summer retreat. Everything is clean and it is a calm atmosphere. Its great waking up in the morning, sitting on the porch and enjoying the country! I cannot wait to stay here again.
Amazing first impression continued throughout the stay
Long weekend trip for a family reunion - we had originally booked expecting to be 5 adults and 3 children and ended up just 3 adults. House was absolutely stunning - beautifully finished and incredibly clean. Bedrooms were large and comfortable and had we had our full party, would have allowed the two parts of the family group to have their own spaces. Appreciated the quality of communication and the welcome gifts left for us - would definitely return and recommend for large groups.
Beautiful property, peaceful, relaxing. The outdoor living space was where we spent most of our time while the homes interior was equally cozy and welcoming. We are looking forward to staying again next year!
Everything about this stay was top notch. The house is incredible and very spacious. It is in a great area for where we needed it to be. It is close enough into town. but far enough away to enjoy the quite of the country. The owner is super responsive and helpful. I would highly recommended this house and I cant wait to stay there again next year.
Excellent stay, interior design is modern-rustic, super inviting and comfortable. We drove daily to Elk Mountain for skiing which was really good and about a 50 minute drive across rolling hills which was very pretty in the snow.
Peter was an excellent host, answered all my silly questions promptly.
Highly recommend!
Peter's house was the perfect retreat from the city. The home was spacious with a modern design and all the amenities, we even used the grill on the second floor deck to cook dinners despite the snowy weather.
The expansive property surrounding the house provided both amazing views of nature from the great room windows and a sense of privacy. We only left the house for a quick trip for forgetton eggs, but did take a hike through the grounds and the children were able to play in the snow and even sled at the house.
Our group of 3 adults and 2 children had more than enough space and used the great room as our nightly hangout to watch movies by the fireplace but the home's layout can easily accomodate larger groups comfortably.
Unfortunately we decided to cut our stay short by a night due to winter storm forecast but definitely enjoyed our stay and are hoping to book again in the spring. Would definitely recommend Peter's home.
