Spring Break & Holy Week (March 1st - March 31st, 2025 & April 10th - April 20th, 2025): Restricted to Immediate Families Only. Immediate families are considered children, parents & grandparents only. No spring break groups will be permitted, regardless of age. Identification will be checked upon arrival. Day guests and visitors are not permitted at any time.

Make lifelong memories at 111 E. Esperanza! This vacation rental consists of three (3) separate units that make up this entire property. You get all three when you stay at this house! Whether you are looking for a property to host a family reunion, a large group of friends getting together, or accommodating a large family and friends gathering, this is the house for you! Boasting 9 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms with a heated private pool and hot tub! This well-designed vacation rental property is set up to accommodate large groups. Perfectly located 1/2 a block from the beach and within a short walking distance to several of South Padre Island's restaurants and retail shopping, you will love this home's location!

The decor throughout this property is colorful and bright with a coastal touch. The large windows allow a lot of natural light to come in and makes for a nice lodging experience. This property entails three separate accommodations. On the upper level Villa #1 and Villa #2 and on the lower level Villa #3, which is located ground-level with the beautiful pool directly outside the back door.

Villa #1: This Villa offers guests 5 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms (one with a bath tub). Guests will walk into a nice open living area featuring a large flat-screen 3D TV, ample seating, vaulted ceilings and an electric fireplace with adjustable heat. The fireplace also has a wide array of flame colors!
Guests will enjoy preparing meals in the nicely designed kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans and cooking utensils.

The large outdoor balconies and patios are a fantastic feature of this property. There is plenty of outdoor seating and deck space to enjoy South Padre Island's warm tropical climate!

Villa #2: This Villa offers guests 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Guests will enjoy the spacious living area with a flat-screen TV, ample seating and vaulted ceilings. The grey ottoman located in the living area opens up to a twin bed for additional sleeping accommodations.
The kitchen is located just off the living area. This kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans and cooking utensils making preparing meals a breeze! The dining area located next to the living room and kitchen features a six-person dining table which is perfect to have family meals.

Villa #3: This Villa offers guests 2 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom. Guests will enjoy preparing meals in the nicely designed open kitchen/dining area with barbecue located outside in the pool area. The travertine paved pool area has plenty of outdoor seating and the sparkling pool features a hot tub and bubbling tanning deck to enjoy South Padre Island's sunshine and warm tropical climate!

Problems we had

Property divided into 3 units. The unit downstairs smells really bad, had to call. The office sent a man who took some smelly water from the AC and put a product to help with the smell. Then the smell turn into a chemical smell (kerosene). I had to call back to the office and they sent another person confirming that it was IMPOSSIBLE stay there the 2 nights we payed. We coundn't use that unit, other than the extra large roaches outside in the swimming pool area. Still waiting for an answer on the reimbursement...

The place was very comfortable and accommodating to all of our needs. Information was provided well in advance for everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again. The only 2 notes I would provide is the first level area unit C did smell of mildew and there were a notable amount of large roaches, but these were minor nuisances and had minimal impact on our stay. Thank you for a wonderful place to spend our weekend

Had a great time in SPI . The place we had consisted of 3 villas and we used it for a family reunion. For the most part it was nice. The downstairs villa had an issue with water coming from the AC closet. We reported it and someone showed up a couple hours later and fixed it. The upstairs villa A had an issue with AC not cooling the downstairs bedrooms. They must be aware of the issue because they had a fan in the room. The rest of the villa stays very cool. They have a lot of broken tiles, so be careful walking around. The pool was a great place for us to enjoy the evenings. One person walked too close to the corner of the house and gashed his arm pretty bad. It had a sharp edge. People need to be careful or it should be fixed. All in all it was a great time. This place was in really nice and has enough space for 30 people. Finding a house like this is really challenging and the price they offer is very accessible. We rented this house for our Ecology class field trip and the students really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. I really recommend this place.

Needs urgent attention

The AC on villa A wasn't working in two of the rooms, on villa B the blender was dirty and even with worms also the microwave wasn't working, we had to call maintenance to get them changed wich they did it quickly, thanks for that, also in villa B and C we were having problems with cockroaches, maintenance also were there to fumigate but we were still having a few on the kitchen area and it wasn't pleasant at all, the pool area wasn't clean when we arrived also the outside areas weren't clean as the back terrace on villa A and the chairs on the front balcony on villa B. We had a bad experience with the fact that the washing machine wasn't working and for that we didn't get a replacement, this is an essential feature for a house to have and we were expecting more about this property. We will continue to rent in SPI rentals because last year even with the fact that you had to change our main house because of a problem on that property and we had to split the group in two, the house and the apartment we got were clean and comfortable and everything was working so we had a good experience. Hopefully SPI rentals can be more involved on the process of how the houses are getting their maintenance and if the features of the house and the home appliances work, to offer your clients the best experience in their vacations. Thank you.

Really great for groups with multiple families.

This place is really great for groups with multiple families. The separate bungalows allow for each family to have their personal space, while the main dining/living areas are big enough to all gather together. The pool and spa are also wonderful.

Great place!!

A great place to stay for large families. Very clean and plenty of towels. Will definitely book again. Had trouble with cable TV but we didn't go there to watch TV, LOL...beach is a very short walk, very convenient...4.5 stars out of 5....

Huge property, close to beach

We really enjoyed our stay as it was the perfect size since we had three different families staying here. We had plenty of space but still a large enough space to hang out. We loves the proximity to the beach and the pool on property. I would just say the unit needs some updating, but overall our stay was great!

In the most part the home was good. We had an issue with the pool and after a call to the property management company it was partially resolved. There was a rain storm and the roof leaked.

Great family destination!

My large family stayed here after Christmas and with all the chaos that goes into the holidays this was a perfect getaway! Plenty of room for everyone. The fenced in back yard with the pool was excellent. Close to beach. Plenty options of activities and shopping near by. I would definitely stay here again!

Excellent accomodations

Very clean, spaces were exactly what we needed for our large group. Pool and hot tub were great and used constantly. Access to the beach was handy and the Blackbeards restaurant was a place for good food and right across the road. Best Dollar store 1 block away. Would stay here again.Very happy with SPI rental companhy.

Overall was a nice stay

Had a great time. The property was nice. Had a little hiccup checking in, but office was very helpful. A few minor plumbing issues that the management was informed of and helpful. Rooms in complex A are extremely hot at night, so be sure to bring a fan. There were 5 families and there was more than enough room. Complex C was used the most by everyone, as it was closest to the pool and had the biggest table for everyone to gather and eat. Very close to the beach, less than a 10 min walk. Everyone had a really good time. Would definitely look into this property again.

Family Reunion / Vacation

We have a big family so this house is perfect for us. It's the only guaranteed time we have all the kids and grandkids together for 3-1/2 days. SPI Rentals is always very efficient when we have anything that needs to be addressed. Thanks SPI Rentals for taking care of us!

Perfect Get-A-Way

We had a large group attending an event and this was a perfect size for our team! We were able to accommodate all the houses with food & water in their own kitchens. The maintance man was on point and came out to assist us with whatever we needed which was awesome! Perfect location to walk to the beach, the store and restaurants.

Great vaca

we had a group of 24 and we loved the house the heated pool and hot tub! the location was awesome- we walked 5 min 1 way to the beach to watch the sun rise and 3 min the other way to watch the sun set. would def book again-Thank you!!

I booked this house for my daughter's wedding party so everyone had their own space to get ready and so that we could have a small reception afterwards. We had about 25 people and this space was perfect for us! The 3 separate units allowed the bride and groom to get ready privately and we had the 3rd one for the younger kids and teenagers. After the wedding we set up some tables and chairs under the covered patio by the pool for the reception. It was a beautiful way for our friends and family to celebrate and we could not have found a better house for the occasion! Highly recommend!

November 2021 Vacation

Truly had an wonderful experience staying here! The beach was within walking distance and we loved the pool! The location is perfect, its close to restaurants and other shops so you don't really need to drive around much unless you want to. The house was very nice with plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. Perfect for larger families like ours. The house was very clean and well maintained. We could not figure out one of the TV controls and SPI Rentals sent someone over to help us right away. They were very accommodating and everyone that we spoke to or met with was so friendly. I highly recommend this house and hope we can get back to the island again next year. We will definitely want to rent again! Thank you, The Irving Family
