Was everything that it said it was. Great communication from the owner. Refrigerator was leaking water on Thanksgiving Day and I haited to call, but it was making a mess and was getting worse. He had someone take care of it right away. No problem, Things happen, but they did everything they could to repair it that day!!
4 Stars for everything

place is good but the host is unfriendly
The place is good, but the host raised the price after we booked the property. After we left he also accused us of clogging the broken dishwasher(which is bad to start with), which would charge us $200 for the dishwasher, and for us not doing the laundry is not required at all.
plus, the wifi is so bad....
The overall communication from check-in to check-out was great. The place was clean, easy to get to and worked wonderful for our stay. Plenty of parking for your vehicles and if you have an ATV trailer or snowmobile trailer. Would highly recommend this place.
We stayed here for a hunting trip. Property was close to the unit being hunted. Property was clean and was a nice place to stay. Next Colorado hunting trip we will be staying here again.
First off- I’m not sure if the unit I am reviewing is the same as the one we booked as there was a last second switch. But I’m guessing it was a unit in the same building. The location wasn’t what I was expecting but the unit was very comfortable. After having some miscommunication with the owner they were very responsive with working with me to provide a solution. We LOVED that Costco was just down the road for food and gas. The master bed was more comfortable than I was expecting and having two fridges was nice. Some of the appliances were not great- for example, we couldn’t get a Couple burners on the stove to work and the water/ice machine on the fridges were not working. there were some kitchen items that would have been nice (like a pizza cutter).
The owner checked up in us asking how our stay was going.
We took the family skiing at beaver creek and the drive wasn’t bad.
I would stay here again for a ski trip to beaver/vail
My boyfriend and I told the owners we planned to work remotely and ski. We stayed 7 nights and unfortunately the WiFi was extremely weak (emails wouldn’t even send). We contacted the host multiple times throughout the day & they kept telling us someone would come out to fix it. Nobody ever showed up. After 2 days of asking for help we gave up and did not hear from them again.
Long story short, we realized they didn’t actually have WiFi in our unit but the units directly to the left & right of us did. They each had 10Mp of WiFi which is just about as low as you can buy. Both units were occupied & we were supposed to use their little/none remaining WiFi. The host for some reason did not see a problem with this.
Additionally, the communication alone was frustrating and far from smooth.
This added a ton of stress to our trip and it caused us to fall behind at work. They made ZERO effort to fulfill the WiFi they advertised. I feel gypped.
This place was amazing for our group. It has plenty of space downstairs and upstairs with beds fully made and cleaned (extra linen as well, towels, etc.). The kitchen was very well equipped and was perfect for prepping and making meals. Parking was perfect as it was a step away from the door. Very close to Costco and other grocery stores so that was nice. Overall very cozy place that made our stay enjoyable.
The host was incredibly accommodating and very communicative. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. If you enjoy fishing, the Eagle River backs up to the property. Also, there are plenty of hiking / snowshoeing in the surrounding area. Beaver Creek and Vail are a short drive which was convenient as well. We will stay here again.
This location was perfectly situated between Beaver Creek for skiing and Glenwood Springs for Hot Springs. We really enjoyed our stay!

Underwhelmed
The people we interacted with were nice. The property is not maintained at the level one would expect for the price. The kitchen is stocked like from a garage sale...a little of this or that but totally inadequate. The water was barely warm and very weak in the main shower. Needs thorough cleaning on outside and carpets also. Suggest spending some of the rent on replacement items as it is all very worn.
Great place at an affordable price, 10 minutes from Eagle. You can walk to Costco. The airport is nearby but we never heard planes.
The bathrooms have been updated and are nice. The beds were comfortable. A couple of minor things, like burned out lightbulbs and an oven that needed cleaning, didn’t really impact our stay.

Not as expected
Communication before we booked was good, but once we got there, it was almost impossible to reach anyone. Because of our drive from Colorado Springs area, we arrived later in the day so they were leaving the key in a lock box on the doorknob of the unit. Upon arrival, nothing felt right. The grounds appeared to be a construction site with stuff everywhere. We kept driving the path wondering where the 4plex might be. It was around the corner with what appeared to be a work crew hanging out next door to our unit. The vrbo made it sound like it was backing up to Eagle River. There was no river to be seen from the unit. As a matter a fact, we had to search really hard to find what I guess was the river way off to the side of the property. Besides that, going into the unit we found the couches to be very stained and worn. There were dead bugs in the windowsill and sink of the kitchen and moths throughout the unit. The bathroom faucets were so corroded and nasty we used bottled waters for brushing our teeth. Although it had a/c and was cool downstairs, it was pretty warm upstairs. The plus side, it had a washer and dryer which we needed, and the beds were pretty comfortable.
This place was perfect for us! Was super close to Eagle to grab a quick bite to eat and supermarkets when supplies needed. And only a 15-20 min drive to Glenwood Springs. Hosts communicated well and met our needs when we needed extra paper towels and trash bags. Would stay here again!
The owners were very accommodating and communicated well. We had a great stay. The property was large and had a nice place for our dogs to run around and explore.
We spent 3 nights in this property. When we arrived to this property and saw the landscape area I was not sure what we would see inside but it was nice surprise . The place was clean, with a big kitchen, two refrigerators, 2.5 bathrooms, nice living room and bedrooms, when after a busy day, you can relax and sleep.
We spent most of our time in Glenwood Spring, which is 30 miles from Gypsum, but the way thru Glen Canyon is breathtaking.
I would definitely come again.

I came with three adult kids to ski vail and beaver creek. The ski areas were fantastic but so busy with ppl. I really enjoyed driving away and pulling into a parking place right at the front door. Plenty of room, spacious bathrooms and super convenient entry for storing boots and ski things.
Friendly attentive hosts. Thix for a great stay

We stayed at this property recently, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were in town for a wedding in Gypsum. It was ideal location to get to Vail and Aspen. Grocery stores and liquor stores are close by as well. The home was very clean and very quiet. We enjoyed our evenings sitting on back patio grilling and enjoying some evening cocktails. The only disappoinment was that the Eagle River was not accessible from the property. We would highly recommend this property.

About the host
Hosted by Jody Daniels
I love the outdoors and the setting with this townhome is great for relaxing, fishing, biking or hiking up the colorado river. I travel a lot and with the Eagle Airport just up the hill from me I do not have to fight traffic. The golf is also great in the area and very reasonably priced.
Why they chose this property
This unit is unquie in the sense that families can all be together and enjoy their privacy while visiting friends or relatives or just up for a weekend of snow sports or summer activities. All of which are very abundant in Eagle County.
What makes this property unique
The unit is in a quiet area. Sits between the town of Eagle and the town of Gyspum off Hwy 6. Fishing on the Eagle River is at your back door.
