The view is great but…

The entrance to the building was under construction. Made it difficult to get delivery. The hallway and ceilings are gross. Dated I should say. Pool was small and lots of rednecks grilling. Across the hall were some not so great looking tenants. They watched me come in and out. Cable did not work- the owner cut it off and I found out the last night I was there. Best part of this was the view and kitchen. Not exactly worth the cost.

Room was fine but would not rent again

The property was fine - roomy for 4 people but not for 6 as advertised. First issue was with a screen door in the balcony above our room which became detached....calls to property manager were made. Unsure if the issue was actually resolved or the door simply fell to the balcony floor. Light - the light to the entrance was out all week. We needed our own light to see the keypad to get in the door. Laundry - machines provided but no detergent - needed to purchase our own. Paper products - We also were not provided enough paper towels and toilet paper which we needed to purchase at our expense. Cigarette butts - our parking space was littered with cigarette butts from another resident or guest. And one was still lit on the hood of my rental car. Disgusting and uncalled for,.

Nice condo on the beach!

The space was clean and comfortable for the two of us and our dog. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with the basics and it was close to everything. The beach views from the patio doors is amazing, especially at sunrise. We'd definitely stay again, but would bring our own linens next time as the ones provided were a bit rough.

Beautiful View and Location

Love the view from this condo and the area is wonderful, especially with the park next door. We took our dog for walks there and with sidewalks everywhere, you can walk to restaurants and all around town. Lots of folks out at night walking, skateboarding, bike riding and running. We felt very safe and everyone was so friendly. Our only negatives are that the baths in the unit weren't very clean, the throws in the basket in the living room were dirty and looked like they've never been washed and the front door needs to be replaced. The lock/bolt is very loose and damaged. It also would be wise for the pool to be heated, because even though we were there in September and it's still hot in Jax, the pool was extremely cold. Other than that, we had a wonderful time and would definitely go back again.

Great views on Jax Beach

We really enjoyed staying here--the view of the ocean from the condo was great and the interior was very comfortable. I would suggest they upgrade the plastic chairs on the balcony to something a little more substantial and comfortable.

Unhappy Stay

Overall the only thing that was nice about the place was the view, I arrived on Saturday afternoon was not pre-advised that the pool was under construction and that was not completed until Monday afternoon which pretty much ruined the Labor Day weekend. The television set in the family room was broken until Tuesday when it was replaced, the refrigerator makes noises and the inside protective bar handle did not work And was missing one shelf.when opening the door, a bottle of wine crashed to the floor Breaking glass all over Because of the faulty plastic side bar. Upon opening the area where the air-conditioning unit is held to look for a broom I noticed that the filter on the air-conditioning unit had not been changed in many months. Again the view is beautiful But I will never stay here again and I would Advise better upkeep on this unit. I am waiting to hear back from property management for some kind of credit on my account.

Beautiful Condo

This condo was beautiful and the location was great! Right on the beach and has beautiful views. However the night we arrived, our plane was delayed. We arrived at the condo at 2 am and we could not use the code to gain access. The emergency number was not being answered, but thankfully after calling several other numbers we found online, we reached a very helpful lady who was able to reset our code so we could get in. Another disappointment was that the pool was under construction, and we were not made aware of this ahead of time. Overall, the condo was great, just wish we hadn’t had an issue with the lock code and that we had a pool to use for our stay.

Not what we expected.

1. We had difficulty with the code getting entrance to the condo. Needed new batteries. Replaced 2 days before our departure. 2. Air conditioning wasn’t working upon arrival. Needed new batteries in the thermostat. We purchased batteries. Presented receipt emailed as promised.. Concern regarding COVID precautions because dirty cooler left in main bedroom closet along with sofa covers which we were told were clean. Did not touch to verify whether the sofa covers were clean or not. Two stains on main bedroom top spread which I had to wash the cover. Ceiling fan was never changed out in main bedroom. Left in box in second bedroom closet. We did not have a circulating fan in master bedroom. The fan should have been changed out prior to our arrival.. Thursday night all televisions malfunctioned, except in the second bedroom, in which you could only play video games. You could only hear sound , no picture. The owner apologized for the inconveniences we experienced. We have not spoken to anyone since our departure.. This is our first time using VRBO. Needless to say, I’m very disappointed. Especially because the owners were there previously and didn’t make sure there condo was prepared for incoming guests. What’s the purpose of the VRBO fee? My interpretation was to make sure your guest had a satisfying experience. The main swimming pool is an eyesore because it’s under major construction. This vacation surely wasn’t what we expected. During this pandemic and because it was our 26th anniversary and my husband’s birthday we took a chance on a short vacation. A vacation we haven’t taken in 2 years . I’m unsure if safety precautions were utilized and if the condo was thoroughly cleaned.

Great property

Only issue is the lock on the door. Very loose, someone could easily kick the door open if they wanted to. Furniture in living room not the most comfortable, could use a refresh. Beds are super comfortable and clean. Bathrooms nice and updated. We enjoyed our stay!

Great beach view

We had a great view of the ocean and the sounds of ocean waves throughout our stay. There is easy access parking to the unit, but no elevator for those that need one. There are also no beach towels or chairs, so come prepared with those items.

Nice Beach Getaway

Located right on the beach. Walking distance to numerous things like McDs and breakfast places, bars, restaurants, etc. Short drive from much more - like Atlantic Avenue and the Mall. Property has minor issues - like loose tile in kitchen and lighting switch issues in bathroom, but very minor. Condo was clean with plenty towels, soap and such. Lock code and backup key lock box was nice. Easy in / easy out. Lots of plates and silverware. No hair dryer. Pool area a little run down. Overall, we very much enjoyed place and would return again.
