Star-view suite at Comfort Cove has a private top floor deck and beautiful lake front views to enjoy all four seasons!

If your group is more than 4-6 , or you just want to spread out, check out our downstairs Lily Pad (Property ID 2559241). The unit with the screened in porch and wood dock is private and reserved currently.

Labor Day getaway
The property is very cute and the lake is so tranquil and peaceful. View from the deck is obscured by trees, but not a problem. As allergy sufferers I would recommend cleaning the ac units more frequently and replacing the shower curtain liner. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciate your property. As

Nice cozy little place on the lake
Nice weekend getaway to get some quietness. This place would be really nice in the beginning of the fall in which it's still warm and vacation time period is not as busy. Owners was very helpful and always picked up the phone. We had a miss communication with the fire stick, but they quickly rectify the issue within hours and apologies for any inconvenience. These are the type of owners you always want to rent from. Local pizza place was really good.

Great setup
Great place to be for a ski weekend at Elk Mountain. Several local restaurants to chose from within a 10 minute drive, plus Jakes right next door. Same for grocery store, Dollar General, gas stations, and beer/wine/liquor store. About 25 minutes to Elk Mountain or to mainstream restaurants/stores. Had about 4-5 inch snow overnight and the drive/walk was cleared in the morning.

Beautiful Retreat
Great spot for a relaxing stay in a beautiful area. The property is clean and comfortable. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake, enjoying the views from the deck, and exploring the cute nearby towns. Check-in was easy, and the hosts were responsive and helpful.

Weekend Away in October
We had such a nice, relaxing trip. The place was so cute and decorated with Fall things. The view was beautiful from the balcony. The owners were super responsive, and the instructions were very helpful.

Beautiful respite
We all enjoyed our stay. The view was wonderful. The deck was a perfect spot to hang out and read, play games or just chat. The kayaks were a great addition and we used them several times during our stay.Jon was very responsive to my questions as I didn't receive my notice from VRBO for some odd reason. The only suggestion I have is it may be easier if there was a binder with all information available in the unit. That way guests can look and see where to find garbage cans, what is expected of them etc. I think that would be easier on them as well. Thanks again Jon and Beth for being great hosts!

Excellent property and location
Our stay was great! Many great things to see around the area like Jim Thorpe and Bushkill Falls just to name a few. The lake was so clean and peaceful! The owners provided kayaks and a canoe and I woke up to a beautiful view every morning. The tavern next door closes pretty early for a bar, so there wasn’t really a problem with noise at night. Check in and check out was super easy. We will definitely try to come back next year!

Fantastic spot on the lake with great views and a nice yard to spread out for a picnic. We used the firepit and table and had a lovely evening. Swam in the public spot (short walk around the cove) and had a drink at Jake's nextdoor. Wull conrinue to book.

Memory Lane
Revisited Elk Lake for the first time since the 1960s. Lovely lake. The upstairs unit was great. Wonderful covered porch with view of lake. Spent two days exploring Carbondale, Waymart and Honesdale where my father, grandmother and great grandparents lived. Found most of their gravesites as well.

We stayed on the top floor and loved the views from the deck. Spent a lot of time swimming and fishing. Liked the close proximity to Jake’s pub. Everyone had a great time!!

Great Weekend Stay
My husband and I really enjoyed staying here for the week. The place is so close to many great attractions in PA. We loved spending the mornings and evenings out on the deck overlooking the water and afternoons kayaking in the lake. Great location and lovely home.

Peaceful getaway
Very much enjoyed the second floor lodging. Great view of the lake, quiet and relaxing in the morning on the porch while having a coffee. Added bonus is Jakes Tavern next door, so convenient. Honesdale is less than 15 minutes away. Would definitely recommend!

A nice getaway for extended weekend
This is our 2nd experience with VRBO in the Pocono area for an extended weekend over MLK weekend. While it was not a snowy visit this time, we were able to watch some flurries from the place and just take in the wintery scenery. We enjoyed the cozy charm that this place delivered. We were not able to use the fire pit as planned but we certainly kept busy with the local sites and scenes that the overall area offered. Thank you for opening your place up to us and we wouldn't mind visiting again:)

Very nice place . But if your looking for peace and quite; it’s rite next door to a rowdy bar. Snow mobiles were racing up and down the street till way past midnight!. And we stayed in winter. Can’t imagine how loud it is during peak season..

Jon and Beth have been together for 15 years, were married in 2011 and love the Lake Life they have created together. They travel as often as possible but in all the many places they have visited around the world, Elk Lake remains their favorite.

Beth grew up coming to Elk Lake visiting her grandparents, many cousins and friends. Once she brought Jon to visit too he instantly fell in love with this welcoming, quaint, beautiful, private spot to enjoy all four seasons.

They try to make their guests as comfortable as possible with all the amenities to feel like home. They are quick to respond, have many places they love to recommend to their guests that they enjoy visiting as well and really appreciate any feedback people give them to improve their current and future stays.

When they named the Star view unit it was special to them because of the many beautiful stars that light up the sky, full/half/eclipse moons, and every once in a while even a shooting star (sometimes too many to count)! One night Beth and Jon didn't have renters yet and were on the private deck looking at the beauty of the sky and thought to themselves what better name for this special and private unit than the Star view suite!

Beth and Jon are down to earth, positive and grateful people that appreciate all the many adventures they have had and continue to have. They are so happy they get to share this amazing Lake with people near and far!
