Just a 7-minute walk from Place Djemaa El Fna, in the highly sought-after Mouassine district, where designer boutiques, traditional crafts, trendy bars and restaurants, antique shops and must-see wonders such as the Dar El Bacha palace, the secret garden and the Mouassine museum rub shoulders, you'll appreciate this delightful riad decorated in a contemporary Orientalist style, nestled at the end of a peaceful Derb (cul-de-sac).
Here you'll enjoy an authentic Marrakech experience.
Rented in its entirety, the ground floor features an outdoor patio with whirlpool, a bhou (covered outdoor space) and, inside, a large living room opening onto the patio through high glass doors, comprising a lounge with fireplace and TV area, a dining area and a large, open-plan, fully-equipped kitchen. All with reversible air-conditioning.
On the 1st floor, 2 large bedrooms with double beds and a small bedroom with 2 single beds, all 3 with private bathroom/wc and reversible air-conditioning.
A few more steps take you to the superb emerald zellige terrace facing the Dar El Bacha palace, where breakfast is served under the pergola to the accompaniment of birdsong,
Here you can sunbathe on the deckchairs, have a drink while admiring the sunset over the Medina, or enjoy a delicious dinner prepared by Meriem.
Breakfast is included in the price and served between 8:30 and 11 a.m.
Other meals are extra and must be ordered the day before or the morning of the event at the latest.
The price of lunch depends on your wishes and appetite, as breakfast is copious.
Dinner costs 200 dam (€20) per person and includes starter, main course and dessert. Drinks are extra.
The meal is prepared in the afternoon, and the table is set.
If you would like Meriem to stay for dinner service, a supplement of 100 drh (10€) is charged.
On arrival at the airport, we offer a transfer for the sum of 150 drh (15€) per journey for 1 to 4 people and 250 drh for 5 to 7 people.
A 50% supplement is applied for the night rate from midnight to 6am.
A driver will be waiting for you at the airport with a sign bearing the words RIAD JASMIN CHEZ CATHERINE and your name, and will take you to the entrance to the Bab Lakssour Medina, where your luggage will be taken care of by Omar, who will accompany you to the riad, where you will be welcomed by Meriem.

Noisy because of construction work

Overall its a nice Riad close to the shops, El Fna etc. But we were disappointed because of the hard noise in the morning from 7.00 am. coming from the construction work next door (large new Riad is being build). Since we asked up front if it was really quiet (and got that confirmed from owner) and it is adverstised as 'calm' we are disappointed, because one knows that this is an issue.

Perfect Base to Explore Marrakesh!

We (grandparents, with daughter, son-in-law and 3 1/2 year0old grandson) stayed at Riad Jasmin. It all looked great online but was event better than expected! The location is great if you want to be close to the souks and main plaza of Marrakesh (Jemaa el-Fnaa) and still have a convenient, tranquil retreat.The pickup from airport to the Riad was flawless and convenient. I highly recommend contacting Catherine and using this service unless you are familiar with the city.Meriem was wonderful! She helped us get acclimated to Marrakesh, helped arrange hammam appointments, made us two dinners and was always at our disposition in addition to keeping the place always cleaned up, including laundry. Not to mention the wonderful breakfasts, (Le fromage etait incroyable, Meriem!) Wow!!The best compliment I can say is that if/when we go back to Marrakesh, we already know where we will stay, Riad Jasmin. Merci, merci!

Excellent for location, style and comfort

The riad and its location are superb in all aspects. Catherine, our host, arranged airport transport and Meriem, our housekeeper, ensured a warm welcome with an evening meal and prepared and served daily breakfasts. She was also able to arrange a tour guide and communication was easy despite the fact we didn’t share a common language. The riad was spotless, tastefully decorated, with plenty of hot water, comfortable beds and well stocked toiletries, a real home from home.Located in a quiet alley, a restful haven from the frenetic pace of life in the souks yet within walking distance of all major sites.Bars, or even restaurants serving alcohol, can be quite difficult to find in the Medina but there was a small one just near the entrance to the alleyway to the riad and a much larger one a few minutes walk away at the entrance to the Medina where there was also a small convenience store.

Nous attribuons sans hésitation la note de 10/10 pour notre séjour au Riad Jasmin à Marrakech. Ce lieu est un véritable havre de paix, magnifiquement décoré, chaleureux et empreint d’une atmosphère apaisante et raffinée. Excellent Accommodation

This is a beautiful Riad in a quiet section of the Medina. We were comfortable and felt safe. The jacuzzi is not like an American hot tub and does not get warm enough to enjoy in the winter. However it is beautiful. I especially enjoyed eating a lovely breakfast, prepared by Meriam, on the roof top. The ride to and from the airport was easy and we enjoyed chatting with Munir. Overall I would recommend a stay.

Une arrivée au Riad par taxi réservé et les derniers mètres accompagné par un carrossa. Mériem nous attendait malgré l’heure tardive, avec un repas Marocain de bienvenue délicieux. Le Riad est splendide, très bien situé, ds un quartier ultra calme et proche de tout. Il est superbement décoré, et très bien équipé. La terrasse sur le toit est magique et le petit déjeuner préparé par Mériem est un pur moment de bonheur ! Mériem est là pour veiller à tout, dans le calme et la discrétion, une belle personne (réservations de soins et hammam, commande d'un taxi, itinéraire pour des visites...). Je recommande vivement ce Riad pour vos escapades à Marrakech.

Un sans faute pour le riad Jasmin !

Nous avons passé une semaine extraordinaire, en famille, dans le riad Jasmin. Le charme, le calme et le confort ont été au RDV. Catherine, notre hôte, nous a très bien conseillés en amont de notre séjour à Marrakech. Quelle gentillesse ! À notre arrivée, nous avons découvert Meriem, cuisinière hors pair, qui nous a régalés de ses (petits) déjeuners et d’un tajine kefta mémorable. Super séjour !

Un super séjour au Riyad Jasmin, endroit magnifique, parfaitement décoré, équipé et entretenu, et très bien situé au centre de la Médina, idéal pour partir rapidement en balade, au centre-ville, mais aussi hors de la ville, via des taxis rapidement accessibles. Accueil et communication parfaits, tant avec la propriétaire qu'avec la gouvernante, aux petits soins pour notre famille. Je conseille chaudement !

Jeder der dieses riad bucht, sollte wissen, dass die Privatsphäre deutlich eingeschränkt ist. Die Haushälterin muss laut Eigentümer jeden Tag kommen, da sie „in control“ sei. Diese hört dann laut musik, läd Freundinnen zum Essen ein und schreibt den Mietern vor, wo sie ihr Frühstück einzunehmen haben. Gehorcht man nicht, bedeutet das, dass die Haushälterin in Folge einem Kleinkrieg veranstaltet.

Amazing riad !

Amazing location and incredible cook at this riad ! Very friendly staff ( Meriem ). She is absolutely charming to work with. She cooked the best breakfast every morning and she cooked 2 dinners for us and everytime, we couldn't believe how good everyting was. The riad was exactly as per the VRBO add. The bedrooms were very clean and Meriem keep it that way the full 7 days we were there. The outside patio roof is also great and the only noise that you will listen to on the patio is the birds. Very very relaxing area to espace the busing souks 1 minutes away. Catherine, the owner, has been very fast to answer any questions we had. As per her replied, I feel that she have a good sense of humor. The riad had also a small pool/spa on the first floor and it was great to relax in it at the end of the day. Overall, they completely ( Meriem/Catherine ) deserve a 10/10 for having this riad on the location merket. It is a gem ! Will we recommend that riad in Marrakech ? Absolutely ! Can't wait to go back !

Superbe Riad

Nous sommes une famille de 4 et notre séjour dans ce Riad a été excellent, situé au cœur de la médina, toute peut se faire à pied. Meriem a été au petit soin avec nous et ses petits déjeuners sont excellents et tous les jours différents. Conseil: petit déjeuner sur le roof top, et n’hésitez pas pour un dîner avec les spécialités marocaines que Meriem maîtrise à la perfection. Meriem nous a également conseillé pour les excursions et organisé les transports. C’est très pratique. Nous conseillons vivement ce Riad, merci à Catherine et Meriem pour ce séjour.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à Marrakech et dans le riad. Quel bonheur d'avoir pu vivre cette expérience et de faire ces découvertes et rencontres. Catherine nous a permis d'organiser le séjour et notre arrivée et Meriem nous a permis de passer un séjour en toute tranquillité ( intendance, repas, organisation d'activités et de sorties). Nous avons apprécié l'accueil, les petits déjeuners divers et variés, la personnalisation pour l'anniversaire de notre fils, les repas excellents et au-delà de tout cela, la gentillesse, la discrétion et le grand professionnalisme de Meriem. Comfortable Riad

The Riad is clean and spacious with a terrific rooftop terrace where Meriem serves a delicious breakfast each morning with plentiful Moroccan breads, jams and honey. Meriem is helpful in other ways as well, arranging taxis, helping with souk visits. She also cooked a great dinner for us one night that we enjoyed on the rooftop terrace. Highly recommended.

Séjour au Riad Jasmin

Bonjour, Le séjour fut parfait. Du début à la fin, la prise en charge à l’aéroport, l’arrivée au Riad, et le retour. Ne vous souciez de rien, Meryem, notre hôte durant le séjour s’occupe de tout. Souriante, avenante, excellente cuisinière. Elle reste discrète et disponible si besoin. Une question, un besoin, Meryem vous apporte la solution. L’emplacement idéal en plein cœur de la Médina, proche du souk, des lieux à visiter, tout en étant un havre de tranquillité, bien nécessaire après une journée de visite à Marrakech. En tous points, nous n’avons rien à redire. Propreté, fraîcheur, équipement, décoration simple mais très chic et cosy. Réservez les yeux fermés ! Merci !

Formidable séjour en famille

J’avais eu un coup de cœur en voyant les photos… encore mieux en réalité. Le patio est très agréable, la terrasse au top… Riad idéalement situé. Meriem a été aux petits soins pour nous… elle nous a organisé nos excursions, elle cuisine merveilleusement bien. Nous nous sommes régalés le matin comme le soir. Le petit déjeuner change chaque jour, une attention particulière le jour de l’anniversaire de notre fils… tout a été parfait! C’est sur nous reviendrons!

Le riad est idéalement placé dans la médina, spacieux et confortable, Meriem et Ahmed sont aux petits soins et d'une incroyable gentillesse. Le petit déjeuner est gargantuesque et Meriem cuisine divinement bien. En bref, un excellent séjour.

Séjour très très agréable

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans le Riad Jasmin. Le Riad est vraiment très agréable à vivre, il est comme sur les photos ! Le salon qui donne sur le patio est très chouette, es lits sont très confortables, chaque chambre dispose d’une salle de bain avec des toilettes et la terrasse est top ! Meriem qui s’occupe de la maison a été aux petits soins, elle nous a préparé des petits déjeuners excellents et très copieux, elle nous a également préparé de très bons repas, elle nous a conseillé et organisé des excursions. Le Riad est très bien situé et le quartier est calme. Nous recommandons !

Séjour formidable

Nous avons (avec mon époux) séjourné dans ce magnifique Riad. L’emplacement est parfait, le Riad est très confortable, la réalité est encore mieux que les photos. La literie est de grande qualité ainsi que la qualité du linge de maison (draps et draps de bain). Meriem nous a proposé un excellent petit déjeuner, différent chaque jour. Elle a été au petit soin dès notre arrivée jusqu’à notre départ. Nous avons demandé un transfert À/R depuis l’aéroport, tout était parfait avec un tarif très attractif.

If you're reading this in English on Vrbo, then you need either to go to the French version on Abritel or message the host for more information. The English description does not convey the amount of information as the French. I didn't realize this until we were in the riad, which is unfortunate because knowing more would have made a lot of what was going on make more sense. Here's the short version: the price includes breakfast prepared by Meriem, who comes to the riad every day and stays until late afternoon. She will also make you lunch or dinner for an extra fee (10-15 euros per person per meal). You'll need to tell her ahead of time if you want this or not so she can make preparations. Meriem will also arrange a driver from the taxi and someone to help get your luggage to the riad if you need that. She will meet you at the drop off point and guide you through the medina to the riad, which is a great help since finding it the first time will be difficult. The extra stuff (including the airport driver) will need to be paid in cash on the day you leave. That said, both Meriem and the riad are great, extremely well located, though, alas, there is no "water park" that we could find. We walked almost everywhere. The breakfasts were a delight, as was the tagine she prepared our first day. The host was offsite but always responsive. We had a great time in Marrekech.

Beautiful Riad in a Convenient Location but...

Very nice property with all the comforts of home. The daily breakfast was OK but we had to ask the owner to have the governante leave as she seemed to want to linger and we prefer a place to ourselves and to largely clean up after ourselves. Some difficulty communicating with her and she did not prepare us breakfast on the last day as a result. Also didn't appreciate that she put away all the rooftop cushions a full day before we were set to leave. With her around it gave us the impression like we were intruding on someone elses space which I have never experience before in a VRBO rental. We agreed to have her prepare us a dinner on our arrival day but should have found another option - was not great and was very overpriced for Morocco. However, this is a great location to explore Marrakech and surrounding area. Would recommend to others with the above caveats.
