Awesome Place!

I would definitely recommend this place. Given how old the building is, I was a little worried about musty odors, but there were none at all. The place was very clean and there was a lot of space, which was great. The only item I overlooked was the building's staircase leading to the second floor. There were a lot of steps! My 81-year-old stepmother was with me, and it was a bit of a challenge but other than that it was GREAT!

This is a perfect little place to stay. There are not many options in this area, but even if there were we’d stay here again. Great hosts. Great location. Perfect for our needs.

Loved this vacation rental.

Kellie's place The Chestnut was the perfect place for us to stay in Osceola. Right on the town square and above a good restaurant. The beds were comfortable, the place was clean and well outfitted and Kellie was easy to communicate with. We will definitely be back.

The apartment was just as described and will be our new to go place when we go to Missouri to visit family. Was concerned about it being located above a restaurant but even though the restaurant was busy we weren't able to hear them.

Quiet & Spacious

This property was very spacious and cleanliness was exceptional! Host was VERY responsive with all communications. Extremely nice place to have a getaway, to see the local scenery or to get out and explore the countryside!

Great Place to Stay

The place was very clean, fresh and roomy. There were 2 ac/heats so the place cooled down very fast on the very hot summer day we were there. Shower had great water pressure. Beds were comfortable which is a plus! The owner was great to work with and communicated in a timely manner.

Spotless and cute

We enjoyed our stay and had plenty of space for our family of four. Super clean, had all the needed amenities. Only complaints would be master bedroom sleep related: the squeakiness of the box spring and the fan, and the pillows. A variety might allow different types of sleepers find the firmness they need.

Revisit

My husband and I visited Missouri again this summer and we stayed at the Chestnut again. It was wonderful! We have enjoyed both stats, once in the winter and once in the summer. Everything is clean, comfortable, and updated. We will definitely return!

Most hassle free 3 adult 2 child booking ever

If you find a flaw with this property, you should just stay home. This property was light, bright, and airy - convenient, and littered with Hershey kisses and cleanliness at every turn. "The" grocery store is across the street, and the Mexican restaurant below the unit is on point, satisfying your last minute arrival hunger crave. I found parking for my truck and 24' trailer with relative ease - ultimately straddling spots in the sheriff's lot across the street. My family immediately felt safe and at home in this quaint small town. Don't hesitate to contact Kerrie on your next trip to Osceola.

Quick stay, wonderful accommodations

We needed an urgent place to stay and the property manager accommodated our needs. We also needed the additional one bedroom rental for one night which was easily provided. Both places were very clean, beautifully renovated, and provided cozy accommodations. There is a restaurant below the lofts which had delicious food (and the ease of walking downstairs for a bite). We will most definitely be back again.

Enjoyed the stay. Easy to access with a couple of good places to eat close by. With the stairs to access it could be an issue for some people. Beds were comfortable, place clean and amenities met our needs. Great place to stay.

Great Place To Stay

Such a nice place and was so comfortable. It had everything we needed. A nice little quiet town with lots of little shops to visit. We really enjoyed going to Osceola Cheese Store and walking around the river.
