Stay at the best condo in Orange Beach!! The newly opened Phoenix West is one of the most luxurious condominiums on the Gulf! You can enjoy a spectacular view of the Gulf from the balcony or through the floor-to-ceiling windows in the unit. With over 1950 square feet the unit is very spacious and newly furnished.

The unit comes equipped with everything you would expect and more. Full-size appliances, wet bar, ice maker, flat screen TVs in all bedrooms and living room. There are two master bedrooms with king-size beds and a bedroom with two queen-size beds.

There are plenty of amenities to keep you and the kids occupied during your stay. A lazy river, a water slide for the kids, and a full-size outdoor pool. If it's raining head inside to the heated swimming pool, or two Jacuzzi's. If your looking to break a sweat check out the state-of-the-art fitness center, four saunas and roof-top tennis courts.

We also have the unit two doors down which is great for large groups!!

Parking: You must purchase your parking passes upon arrival, they are a one time fee of $58 per vehicle. Great condo!

Fun at beach and condo amenities were excellent!

Kids enjoyed all the options of water activities and beach/water was beautiful! We had 11 in our condo and plenty of space! Getting down to our garage parking in checkout day was chaotic! Elevators were very slow. Dryer needs to have element checked or replaced. Hope to get back!

Loved condo....lots of space

The condo was great. Loved the ice machine. Deck furniture was not real comfortable for lounging but view was great. Pillows in master bedroom could have been upgraded. I would have liked a,fluffy comforter. Overall, place was great place to spend a week w family. We plan to return.

The location was great, the view beautiful the condo not. The bedrooms were clean, the living room couch one cushion did not even fit on the couch and the chairs and couch was dirty. They were stained and have the smell and feel of oily skin. The kitchen was described a well appointed kitchen was ready for the chef. If you can describe well appointed as - two frying pans one that looked like it had been used as a cutting board. We had to go buy two pans and clean pot holders. I can not tell you how many socks we ruined from the bottom of them being black from the floors. Very disappointed, extremely disappointed.....we stayed in May 2023 in Gulf Shores and the condo was clean and beautiful. Will not return

Reviewer Comments: Very poorly stocked, no cell service/2 ppl could use wifi at a time, pay $52 to park but when someone hit my car in the CRAMPED prking garage they couldn’t do anything about it & didn’t know who to call about it. No cameras in garage either. Neighboring balconies could see into ours very plainly. Lazy river and indoor hot tubs was awesome & clean

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was our first time in Orange Beach and this resort was very nice. We all loved the lazy river and the jacuzzis, when we could get in one, because almost every night there was a group of people in each jacuzzi partying and not letting others enjoy them. Also, the elevators were very congested Saturday when we got there and if they closed the pools. They need more elevators or they need to figure something out with them. For our actual condo, it was ok. It needs updated badly, the furniture, the pots and pans and cooking spoons. The furniture is filthy dirty, the beds weren’t very comfortable, the inside of the cabinets aren’t very clean, there’s mold in the showers, and the condo itself just was not clean at all. If we walked around barefoot our feet would get black within minutes or our white socks would. There was still sand all over the floor. Some of the towels were dirty. It just didn’t even look like someone had cleaned it. If I pay someone $265 to clean my condo I would expect it to be clean not half assed. But other than the condo not being very clean, overall it was a nice resort.

2023 Phoenix West

There was a couple of things that were disappointing like having to pay $102 to park 2 cars after already paying $2700 for a 3 night stay. The condo was awesome but in need of some updating like the refrigerator. The water and ice maker did not work at all. There was an additional icemaker but not filtered water. Also, we reported that a remote was missing from one of the bedrooms and in another bedroom the TV wasn't working. No one ever came to check on that. We finally restarted the dish and got it working on the 2nd day.

The room we stayed in could of been cleaner and the bedding needed to be washed when we got there it smelt like they hadn’t washed the sheets. No remote worked on the 3 TVs except for the one in the living room area. Wish the condo had there own beach chairs and you didn’t hav e to rent them but other than all that we had an amazing time.

Rental agent has always been accommodating, very informative and professional. She is super quick to respond to any questions. Staff on site are always friendly and helpful as well. Rental property has everything you could possibly need to accommodate your stay however long. This particular unit was overall great, but it does need some minor upgrades. Take into account, this is just a personal opinion, because I have stayed in other units. Chairs in living room are noticeably worn. Dark wood doesn't make me feel like it's very beachy, but that's just me. I'm OCD, so the mismatch light fixtures were drawing my attention more than I like. Sorry! We had no problems with any appliances or plumbing in the unit, and it was clean. Places I recommend to go are The Diner, The Hangout, and LuLu's.

Everything was very nice but, the furniture is in very good shape but it DOES need a shampoo job. The first thing to be taken care of was the master bed. I had to fix the bed frame. The slates were so noisy that you could not breath without making noise. The floors were bad and it didn’t make a difference what part you were in your feet were just black. All in all it’s a nice place, just needs more care.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Phoenix West facility as a whole never disappoints. We’ve stayed in many condos in the OB/GS area and this is our favorite due to location and amenities. The unit itself was set up as described, adequately and sufficiently. Our only complaint was cleanliness. The floors were rather filthy. As soon as we walked in and took our shoes off, you could see our socks getting black - to the point they are now stained. And we have dogs at home so we can handle a little bit of dust and dirt but this was excessive. We tried to find the broom to clean the floor ourselves and it was broken in two near the brush and shoved in the closet that way. So we had to purchase our own to use for the week. We also clearly stated we had 8 people staying in the unit for a week and they only gave us a couple of washcloths for the group. While these are rather minor things, it’s things the cleaning agency should be on top of and be taking care of, especially when you pay as much as the rental rates are for these units. Other than that, our stay was exceptional as always.

All floors need to be cleaned!

Over all it just needs to be cleaned properly. Someone needs to check and remove what’s under the stove it’s got all kinds of stuff underneath there. I only look because something was spilled and In order to clean it up I remove the drawer from underneath the stove ..oh my!!

July 23-30, 2022 Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the location as far as the pool, lazy river, view, etc. The kids had a blast the entire week that we were there. The living room rug and club chairs could use a deep clean. Remotes in living room did not have working batteries. Had to take some from other remotes to watch tv. Could not get one of the living room lamps to come on. No broom in the unit. Only a mop and no bucket. Really needed a broom to clean up sand since we were there for 7 days. The dryer also took several cycles to dry a load of clothes. Master shower only had one working shower head. This unit could definitely use some TLC, especially for the price. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return to the Phoenix West.

Especially nice to have large bedrooms and four full bathrooms. 1208 is nicely decorated without being cluttered. The lazy river is perfect for families with children. We spent part of each day enjoying the beach and then the lazy river. The perfect end of our day was sitting around the lazy river while our grandchildren floated in tubes and played on the slide. Although our condo was great I would suggest housekeeping could be better. While looking for one of our toys we found another toy under a chair from a previous tenant. This was a chair that could easily be moved and swept under. The microwave light as well as the stove light needed to be replaced. All the before mentioned are easy fixes and should be checked before a new family arrives. Overall this condo is wonderful, our stay was wonderful and I would definitely consider staying here again. You cannot beat Phoenix West!

We originally had reservations at Phoenix West, but i received an email that the Lazy river would be closed. Needless to say we were not happy. Then, I received another email that said we could change to Phoenix West II. We were thrilled! It was only 2 tenths of a mile away and absolutely beautiful! Charlotte at Phoenix West was absolutely wonderful! We will be back again!

Since 2015, we have spent our Spring break with a Phoenix West or Phoenix West 2 condo with the exception of one year. We were always happy with the condos we rented with the exception of this year. Our unit was filthy. The children’s feet were black from going barefoot inside the condo. The kitchen was poorly equipped and one pot and one skillet were dirty in the cupboard and unfit for use. I might say that the rental rep did send new pots and pans. Thank you for that. Furthermore, the hair dryer in one of the bedrooms was butted up against the toilet plunger (not the plunger handle, but the end that comes in contact with feces.). It was disgusting. The carpet was old and had food crumbs so we vacuumed it immediately. Bed linens were below par and very uncomfortable and top and fitted sheets didn’t even match. I feel that Phoenix Rentals LLC should require a certain level of cleanliness and quality for guests. After seven years of renting a Phoenix condo from either Phoenix West or Phoenix West II we are saying goodbye and will be searching for a place which prides itself in a clean environment for its people. Very Nice Condo but Accessible ??

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice 12th floor condo with a few things that could be improved upon. Furniture condition was average, had a few stains, could use cleaning, living room rug was pretty well worn but otherwise condo appeared clean. Bring your own toiletries, which we did, as there was minimal hotel like soaps and shampoo. Had a few basic pots/pans, didn’t see any cooking staples. Only 1/2 roll of paper towel present and only garbage bag was the one in the waste basket which we easily filled by our 4th day there, a spare would have been nice. Had washer/dryer and a vacuum. As far as accessibility meaning for a wheelchair - the entry door and all master and bedroom doors and one other bathroom were (36” wide ) and accessible for an adult power wheelchair. Master bath is in its own closet and not w/c accessible. The toilet in hallway bath was extremely loose making unsafe for our w/c user to use. He had to go to pool bathroom to use toilet and pool is only open till 11pm , certainly not ideal but it worked. No grab bars anywhere in condo. The balcony is nice, spacious but has approx. a 2” lip on inside and a 6” step down to balcony floor making it completely inaccessible for wc users. I’m sure all condos in this building are like that for weather protection. Otherwise, the open floor plan made w/c use easy. The zero entry pool was very nice. Indoor pool does not have a lift. The pool areas and the building, including parking garage appeared to be very well maintained. Located near the state park between Gulf Shores and Orange Beach near many restaurants but not really safe to walk anywhere due to hi flow traffic and no sidewalks. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will better know what to expect when renting a condo in resort area.

Great condo -Horrible cleaning service

The condo was great! We had plenty of room for everyone. BUT the cleanliness was horrible! There was dirty linen left in the bathroom, garbage left in one of the bedrooms, I could feel sand on the floor upon arrival, the kitchen garbage can smelled like someone threw up in it and there was a smell as soon as you walked in the door. Definitely needs a new cleaning service! I should have called and asked them to come back and clean it again. Lesson learned.

Gorgeous, just needs to be cleaned better.

This place was absolutely gorgeous! It has everything you need and an amazing view! Charlotte was lovely to work with. Our complaints were with the cleaning people and the parking garage. The floors were filthy. Walking from the bedroom to the bathroom would make your feet black. There was a sticky substance all over one of the dressers. There was pools of jelly under one of the nightstands, all around it and on the walls. The sheets on the sofa bed had a brown substance and blood on them. Charlotte offered to have the cleaning crew come back and did bring a new set of sheets. We purchased two parking passes, clearly oversold passes because when I returned from the grocery store I was told the garage was completely full. They told me I had to park on the side of the road. I had to haul a trunk full of groceries out. Also, the WiFi was terrible. It did not work our entire stay. We couldn’t even make phone calls, much less send text messages. Other than that, we loved it!
