We had a wonderful time staying at the hilltop cabin! The quiet peaceful nights in this cozy cabin is just what you need to escape the tension of a busy everyday life!
This property was perfect for our family of four. We stayed for a week and rode the local ATV trails and enjoyed some hiking. The kitchen was well appointed and met our needs.
Being a past renter from a house two doors down we were able to provide this experience comparing to others. It was a great experience . Quiet and so far off the road that seclusion was perfect. We had two dogs with us who were outstanding because of the distance. The house was clean well equipped and over all perfect for what we needed it for. This area is perfect for either direction you want I head In. Site seeing or hitting the lakes and/or trails. This was advertised as sleeping six be all should be aware that there are two bedrooms that accommodate six. It worked out well as we tented as well and had a great time. Thank you. We will look into renting again.
Overall, everything was excellent, lovely home. The only negative is the inability to use the gas fireplace in the livingroom. Property manager told us it was disconnected because people don't know how to use it? The downstairs was quite chilly and the upstairs was extremely warm. Other than that, it was a great stay!! Great trail access - plenty of room for trucks and trailers.
If you're snowmobiling on Coos County you know that Pittsburg is the ultimate destination. Easy access to the trails while having a quiet and restful location is key. Plus amply parking for your truck, trailer and sleds are the criteria for the perfect stay. Hilltop has all that. Plus the house is warm and welcoming with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. We've stayed here multiple times and will continue to return.
We had a great time, great location and great accommodations. Only issue is it needs a better way to get the key out of the lockbox for the house. It was a struggle
Very accurate description of property. House was exceptionally clean, communication with Dan was easy and rapid when needed. I definitely recommend this house for your stay.
Took this trip to Pittsburg from CT because we were trying to get away last minute. Turned out to be one of the best last minute trips we have ever taken. Beautifully kept property in a beautiful area, very calm and relaxing.
The cottage was the perfect size for the 5 of us, clean, quiet, and well equipped. Our family loved the good Internet and smart TV to catch up on some work and relax. Easy access by car to groceries, hiking, lakes, canoeing, introduction to whitewater rafting, and ATV rental. We had a restful time here and wholeheartedly recommend this place.
Loved the property, loved the location, communication with owner was quick. We loved all the room we had in and out on the property. We will definitely be returning in the future!
The property is perfect for a 4 wheeling adventure! We loved the privacy and the huge yard. Direct trail access was great to have! Property description is on point and the host is very responsive. Recommend!
The house was really nice. We did have some challenges and had our first experience with the notorious Pittsburg power outages. The owner was amazing and very receptive. He was easy to reach and worked tirelessly to address our concerns. The house was comfortable and the location was perfect for our snowmobile trip.
Nice and clean. Fully stocked with everything you’d need. Huge driveway that was plowed and gave plenty of room for truck and trailer. Easy access to snowmobile trails. Would def stay again!!
Rented the cabin for a family snowmobile trip. We were very pleased with how clean and well-kept the cabin was and happy to see that it was well-stocked with all the essentials. We highly recommend staying here.
Finding a clean, comfortable and well maintained place to stay in Pittsburg during the winter that is also pet friendly are few and far between. The Hilltop is that perfect stay. From entering the long gradual driveway there is plenty of room to maneuver truck and trailer. Inside the house is warm and welcoming. The living room is comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. Beds are new and just the right firmness for all types of sleepers. Having direct trail access at the bottom of the private road makes it easy to get in/out and your far enough away to not hear sled at night. The owners are courteous and prompt to reply with any questions or concerns. Don't let the exterior fool you... it's a great little camp that's spacious and comfortable.
We had a awesome time at the cabin with my friends. Our trip was mainly to snowmobile and our 30 foot trailer fit easy on the driveway. We were even given additional space and allowed to use the garage. The host was beyond great and very fast at replying to any questions we had.
