Great house with some fixable quirks
Pros: Property was in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood just south of Ukiah. The beds were super comfy, linens were high quality and the house felt very clean. The deck wrapped all the way around and would be a great hangout if it hadn't rained the whole time we were there. We had a great time staying there as a family after the hiccups with checking in.Cons: Communication was not great, didn't receive check-in info until I asked for it, then received the incorrect code. Neither the owner or property manager were available when we arrived (and couldn't get in) and it took 15 minutes to get a call back. The house was super cold, it took three hours to warm up after we arrived. The addition and one of the rooms had an odd smell, either pet or just musty (my guess is it just hadn't been rented for awhile). Also, you have to strip the beds and wash and put away dishes before you leave so plan on that for checkout day. With all this said, we would definitely stay again because the house was just that comfy.
A bit run down, but overall fine. Ice machine was not working, but they dropped off a bag of ice after I advised them. No easy walk way to the fire pit. We were there for a wedding in Ukiah so spent minimal time at the property.
We very much enjoyed our stay at this property over the 2022 New Year weekend. Seven adults and one dog. Great kitchen and gathering area in the main part of the house, with the living room and tv in another separate space. Hon was very responsive to questions before we arrived and a minor issue while we were there. Beautiful views from this hilltop property, nice neighborhood walking (with some hills). We would recommend and visit again.

Great deck but house is a big disappointment
Positives - Beautiful deck with gorgeous views and great location close to Hopland and Ukiah. Negatives - We arrived and the main living area seems to be an add on to the house. There was no HVAC system in this part of the house so the room was very hot. They had a window air conditioner that didn't cool the room down the entire time we were there so we were't able to enjoy this room at all. The fourth bedroom and half bath are in this part of the house so if you need all 4 bedrooms, be prepared for it being hot. Because the main living area was off limits due to the heat, we were left with just the dining area and the deck for visiting. The master shower did not produce any hot water even after letting it run for a very long duration which meant all of us had to shower in the one bathroom. The driveway is a crumble of concrete in places which isn't very safe when walking at night. We would not recommend or come back.
The owner was very accommodating and responsive; she supplied her property with some nice perks and amenities. The place is a bit hard to find at night, so it’s best if you arrive while there’s still a bit of daylight. The place itself was nice for hanging out with family. There’s a room off of the kitchen which is practically a studio - it has its own bed/1/2 bath/sitting area/TV. The property has an an idyllic view from the back deck and is far enough away from city lights that you can see stars well at night.
What an amazing view to experience every day! Our family was in Northern California celebrating a family member who was married at the Jeriko vineyard 10 minutes away from this home. Our stay could not have been better, this home fit my parents and my husband and I perfectly, giving us a tranquil place to relax and recharge.
Beautiful location and views. Very nice home but needs some upgrades to air conditioning and some aging features. Overall very nice and Hon was a very attentive host.
