Wooded Retreat: Hot Tub, Game RM, Fire Pit, Trails
Wooded Retreat is a beautiful home nestled in the trees of the Yale Creek Subdivision of Island Park. With five private bedrooms and three bathrooms, this property is great for larger families. Wooded Retreat has the secluded feeling of being away from civilization but yet still close enough to easily get to gas stations, restaurants, and trails. Take a step outside and enjoy the peacefulness of the birds chirping or the wind rustling through the trees. Access to trails from the cabin.
The main level of the home has two private master bedrooms each with a private bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped to make homemade meals even while on vacation. There are plenty of windows to enjoy the views in every direction. Bring the family over for dinner and enjoy the view. On the ground level of the home is the family and game room along with 3 private bedrooms. This cabin won't fail you when it comes to mountain forest views. Enjoy a morning with a cup of coffee on one of the main balconies and enjoy the scenery. You won't want to miss this!
The cabin has year-round access but the neighborhood road to the cabin is a dirt road that is a mile and a half long. Road conditions will vary but expect some bumps and potholes, because of this vehicles with 5 inches of ground clearance or more is recommended (most sedans, vans, and SUVs).
October-April bookings require four-wheel-drive/AWD vehicles with good tires, no trailers are allowed in the winter. For snowmobiles, there is a county parking lot where you can park your trailers and ride 10 minutes (1.5 miles) to the cabin.
May-September bookings require vehicles that can handle some bumps, no camping trailers/motorhomes are allowed.

This place was perfect for our winter retreat. We had a blast and hope to be back again in years to come. The access to the trails was great and the sledding around the house was perfect for the kids. The houses open floor plan made it wonderful for our group. We enjoyed it immensely!
Overall, our stay was successful. The cabin is beautiful and comfortable for all our needs. The owners were very responsive to any questions I had beforehand, which is very much appreciated.
This property had more than enough room for a group of 10. There were just a few areas that needed a little more cleaning, but overall this place is very well taken care of and accommodates large groups with comfort. The hot tub outside was wonderful and the large kitchen and dining room were a crowd pleaser. The location is remote enough to enjoy the wilderness but close enough to attractions like West Yellowstone and waterfalls. We had a great stay!
We had a great time on our annual family campout. Samantha and Steve are great hosts. The cabin is in a great location, the road in does have a few bumps. Just wished we had more time to stay longer.
The house was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Very clean and spacious to fit everyone from the family. Highly recommend this property!
We enjoyed our short stay. The house was amazing! The kids loved the bunkbeds, game room, and jacuzzi. The table fit everyone perfectly, amazing house overall.
We stayed at this property with four families, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The huge kitchen table, large living area, and exceedingly numerous beds were perfect for our crew. The kids loved the fuseball and ping pong tables, and their was a nice setup for a movie on a rainy day in the basement. When questions came up, our host was very gracious and expedient in getting us answers. We drove to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons National Parks on a couple days of our stay. This was a great place for a big group!
