The house is outside, more precisely above the village of Kalamitsi on a plateau at a height of 550m in the wild with its own charm. All around old vineyards, some of which are left to nature, well-groomed olive groves alternate with countless Judas trees - delightful purple splashes of color into the summer. The sea widens from SW to NW - on the other side the hinterland with a sublime mountain backdrop to which the mountain village of Exanthia nestles. And the main house is in the wind rose in the north-south direction. From east to west you can see through the house, looking through from the mountain to the sea. The land -2000 qm- was once a terraced vineyard, which we started to plant with vines and olive trees.
Our 'local mountain' to the east is the Stavrotas (high as the Brocken in Lower Saxony with more than 1100m), to the SW, W and NW there is a view of far more than 180 * across the Ionian Sea to the northwest coast via Parga to the height of Igoumenitsa. If the visibility is clear you can see the islands of Antipaxos, behind them Paxos and Corfu. And in the northeast you can still see the western part of the Gulf of Ambotraki.

bedroom
In our house up to 6 people can sleep comfortably. On the lower floor there are two separate bedrooms facing east, with double beds (160cm) and winged patio doors with a view of the mountains and olive trees on our property. On the upper floor there is a bedroom with a double bed (160cm), sea view and a connected, around the north, south and west, about 60m2 terracotta roof terrace with fantastic sea views.

living area
The spacious living area with its cozy sofas, a fireplace, large dining table (6-8 people) and many other amenities invite you to linger.

kitchen
Our friendly and spacious kitchen fits into the general living area and is fully equipped. Among other things, you will find a ceramic hob, separate oven, dishwasher, fridge and freezer and a fully automatic coffee machine.

bathroom
On the lower floor there is a spacious bathroom, with toilet, as well as two sinks and a rain shower made of natural stones. On the upper floor there is another small turquoise bathroom connected to the bedroom, also with a sink, toilet and shower.

terraces
Spacious natural stone terraces surround our house (east, south and west) and offer plenty of space to relax with a large wooden dining table (6-8 people) and comfortable loungers - with a great view of the sea, which invites you to enjoy the sunset. On the east side there is an inner courtyard, which is ideal for breakfast in transition times. Furthermore, there is another natural stone square below the house terraces, which is shaded by a pine tree.

entertainment
The house is equipped with board games, books, a stereo system (with Ipod connection) and CD’s. Internet is provided via UMTS.
