I want to emphazise that the the Northern Lights are predicted to peak in 2025. 2021 was an exceptional year and so far 2022 has had some incredible Auroras. Generally, the peak season begins August 20-April 15. Realize that the earlier and later in the season, the darkness is less, so you generally have less of a window to view the lights. It is warmer, but your viewing period is shorter. I was just above the arctic circle for a week (Sept 2-11) and had 2 phenomenal evenings of lights viewing 4 hours and 2 hours. If you want to have a good opportunity to view the lights, check out the UAF Geophysical Aurora Forecast which can help predict peak times to have success. That being said, I have had excellent viewing with a 2 kp level. This year there have been a number of days with a 6 kp level which is extraordinary.. If you are interested in viewing or photographing the lights, let me know what you are interested in and I will do my best to help. https://www.gi.alaska.edu/monitors/aurora-forecast

Great Accommodations and Communication
Great place to stay! Close to the airport. Check-in process was good; roomy one bedroom apartment is clean with a comfy bed, kitchen is stocked with plenty of dishes, pots, etc, living room with a smart TV. The owner is available to answer questions, if needed, with suggestions on how to see the northern lights. Stayed a week and saw the lights! Recommended staying here!

Charming, cozy home away from home!
The owner is beyond fantastic! So helpful and amazing communication. The property was immaculate, the bed so comfortable, cozy, and warm apartment with all the amenities I could have wanted. Close to grocery shopping, gas station, restaurants, and expressways. I thought it was a great location and, as a single woman traveler, very safe. This property was the perfect home away from home for me and when I come back to Fairbanks, I will definitely book the property again if it is available! If I could give it more than five stars, I would!

Great experience
This property is across from Pioneer Park and the Chena River bike/walking path. It is also on the busline (M-F) and is walking distance from the The grocery store and UAF. We 7 didn't rent a car so the central location was essential.

100% Recommend
This place was excellent! Easy to get to and right across from Pioneer Park, one of the highlights of our trip. Brian was easy to communicate with and provided us with several activity options including tickets to local ball games. The apt was cute and clean and it was nice to have a place we could do laundry there. Wish we would have extended our stay there and just drove to Chena Hot Springs instead of getting a room at the springs as Brian’s place was much more comfortable. Would for sure stay here again should be get a chance to come back.

Fantastic apartment close to everything
Brian is a top-notch host and his property is very quaint and comfortable. The place had everything we needed for our quick trip to Fairbanks to see the aurora borealis. The heated garage kept our rental car nice and warm, as well, as keeping the apartment warm on those cold nights. We loved our stay. Highly recommend this property!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
