Property was immaculate and very well outfitted. Owner was very responsive and helpful. Despite the frigid temps while we were there the unit was always comfortable. Had a great stay.
This is an amazing place to stay, excellent location and trail access which has made me a repeat guest. Thanks again to the hosts who have always been excellent and made my stay a breeze
The house is lovely and very comfortable! Sara was very communicative and helpful. Our trip was a little waylaid because of Tropical Storm Debby, but Sara was truly wonderful, helping us rearrange our plans and still have a lovely trip. I would definitely stay here again!
Check in/out was seamless, great information and communication. Location is perfect for access to trails and we loved the fire pit. Bike storage, hose to wash off the mud was quite useful.
Wonderful place near town, Burke Mountain, and Kingdom Trails
Checking in was very easy, the place was very clean, and the hosts were super friendly but not at all intrusive. This was a great place for our family (2 adults + 2 kids). The kids really loved the loft. It's a super easy ride into town to the bike trails. We would definitely stay here again.
We celebrated our anniversary with our adult children and had a wonderful time. This is our second time staying at the guest cottage and we just love it. It's cozy and comfortable with everything you need. Close to Kingdom Trails which is why we chose it. The owners Sara and Scott are great hosts and always respond quickly. We look forward to staying there again!
We loved our stay. The cabin was clean and well equiped. It's the perfect spot for a family. The owners were easy to reach if needed. I will recommend the place to our friends.
Thank you, this was great for our family of mountain bikers. The host was pleasant, super helpful, and offered a flexible checkout time. Would love to return, thank you!
Guest house was nice and clean and we enjoyed the trails directly from the house. Fire pit is excellent with plenty of available wood. The main house was not occupied, which was a bonus. Host was helpful and responsive.
everything my daughter and i needed was right there at the rental property, and the location (we were in town a week, riding mountain bikes) simply can't be beat. the property owners were extremely attentive, responsive, and kind. would absolutely stay again, and plan to!
Great location to explore Kingdom trails, Mt Mansfield, lake willowby, Mt Washington and Franconia
Great stay. The owner was very accommodating given adjacent construction!
Kids had a great time bike riding and hiking local trails. Also did a ride withD&D stables!
Cozy Cabin just a few miles out of town ,perfect for bicycle getaway . Owners couldn't be nicer and generous , flexible check in/out times allowed me to extend my stay and enjoy more cycling and beer !
Host was lovely, friendly and informative, cabin was sparkling clean and comfortable, trail and river on the property, beautiful Northeast Kingdom at the doorstep.
This house (cabin) was one of the cleanest places I have stayed at. The kitchen is well equipped for making family dinners. The owner was very responsive to our needs. I would highly recommend this house.
Sara was unbelievably accommodating, and the place is perfect. We had so much fun and we were in the middle of all the mountain bike riding. The outdoor fire pit for night time star gazing is also incredible. Stay here if it’s available!
Great location on trails and near E Burke center. Large fire pit and grill. Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of space for kids in the loft. Only lacks for washer and dryer but for a weekend stay or 3-4 days really a good option.
We stayed in the guest house. It was plenty big enough for me and my two adult sons. Bike wash station, hammock, firepit, close to town and even closer to the mtn biking trails.
Our stay at the guest cabin was wonderful! Sara and Scott were very welcoming and so helpful. The cabin was very clean, comfy and inviting. It had everything we needed to make our stay really comfortable. You can access trails right from the cabin and it's a short, fun ride into town. We definitely want to stay there again!
We had such a wonderful getaway here. The host was very communicative and checked in to make sure we were happy and comfortable. The guest house is sparking clean and very well-appointed. There were several thoughtful touches. It is located a mile outside of town, where you can access dining options and a wonderful gas station/market that is stocked with just about anything you need and staffed by great folks. I’ve stayed a lot of places in Vermont with terrible internet. Here it was fast.
The weather did not cooperate, so we were disappointed that we couldn’t take advantage of the outside space - grill, picnic table, hammock, and portable fire pit.
We booked a trail ride with DND Stables, which is literally across the street. Loved it.
I can’t recommend this place enough. Thanks for the perfect visit!

We purchased this property because our family loves the outdoors and we fell in love with Burke and the North East Kingdom when we got married on Lake Willoughby.
Why they chose this property
Direct access to the Kingdom Trails and hiking trials, close proximity to East Burke and the ski mountain - makes this property an all year round experience.
