Spoetzl Haus, Historic Cottage 4 blocks from Spoetzl Brewery
The Spoetzl Haus was originally located at the Spoetzl Brewery. It was one of the original structures at the brewery and was home to Kosmos Spoetzl's daughter. Over the years it also served as storage for wooden kegs, a gift shop, and the welcome center to the brewery. It is conveniently located 4 blocks from the brewery and is easy walking distance to every downtown destination and all the restaurants in Shiner. There is plenty of room on both the front and back porches to sit and relax. There is also a party barn on the property that is available for use.

My family of 4 stayed here for a wedding and it was perfect. Easy check in, clean and the host was fast in getting back to us. Would definitely stay here again!
Wonderful stay, clean and cozy property just right for three friends meeting in the middle to visit. We would stay here again, and loved seeing touches of the town in the house as we visited and saw the table was from the Amish furniture store. Also highly recommend the Shiner Coffee House! Thanks for a wonderful stay.
Property was as listed. Clean, quite and close to everything. The little party barn had games and music for all to enjoy. Would stay again if ever in the area.
We were just visiting for one night, but we were impressed with the comfort and cleanliness of the cottage. It was in a quiet location (other than a few chickens), and it was walking distance to the steakhouse where we had an awesome chicken fried steak dinner. It was also very conveniently located to the brewery which has great BBQ and beer. My only wish would be to have a swing or rocker on the front porch, but that’s not a dealbreaker. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Shiner!
We took a 2 day road trip from Houston. This was a perfect place to stay. We loved the common area/shed! The kids played jenga and my wife and I drank a Shiner in the rocking chairs. The place does not have a stove or an oven, but does have grill. That was not a deal breaker. Bed and pillows were super comfy. It's a few blocks from restaurants, a donut place and the brewery! We will stay here again!
The little house was so cute. We had a wonderful time. Cynthia was very accommodating and the area is very quiet. The only thing I would say is there are not a lot of food places close by that one might normally be used to if from the city so be prepared for that. However, you have a perfect kitchen set up for that in the house!! Thanks Cynthia!! We enjoyed it. :)
