Great Stay

We had a great stay at this cabin in Estes Park. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Vacasa kept us up to date via text with anything we needed to know about the property. Would recommend this property and stay there again!

Great location!

This was a wonderful place to stay for our RMNP hiking trip! The only challenge was the driveway (VERY rough), but the house was great and the location is unbeatable!

Beautiful views of the snowcapped mountains from the cabin, that had a nice fireplace (bring wood and kindling), was well decored, and very clean.

Great stay at Longs Peak Lookout Cabin, Estes Park, CO.

We had a great stay at this cabin, which is perfectly located at the entrance to the Rocky Mountains National Park. Upon our arrival the cabin was in spotless condition, clean, tidy and equipped with fitting furniture and wifi. It's a perfect base for adventures into the National Park, or Estes Park itself for that matter. Fantastic views from the cabin and very quiet area. We were kept well informed/updated prior to arrival. Can highly recommend both the cabin and the operator!

Perfect place!

In addition to the location, the house is fantastic. It was exceptionally clean and well stocked. Comforts from home like night-lights, fans, Netflix, and highspeed wifi for everyone made the stay even more comfortable.

Ideal location

Ideally located between Estes Park and RMNP. On multiple days we had elk walking past the deck. This property did not have air-conditioning, but it cooled off nicely in the evenings.

Awesome Cabin

It’s a comfortable, cozy cabin with amazing views. They’re even better than the provided pictures imply. There were white tail deer resting right next to the back deck. The cabins are well spaced out and private. The beds and sofa were comfortable. It’s just far enough from town to be able to enjoy Estes Park, while being far enough way to have a quiet relaxing stay.

Wow!

This place was absolutely wonderful. Two adult female friends shared the space. Felt very safe, and the space was very clean. Saw 30 or so elk in the yard just off the deck. Fantastic! Would definitely stay again! We especially enjoyed the personalized touches of what appeared to be owner’s historical family photos.

Unforgettable Summer vacation

This property is a wonderful homemade for your RMNP adventures. It is located so close to the park entrance and also is close to downtown Estes park. My family and I enjoyed hiking in the park for 4 days and looked forward to coming back to this wonderful cabin to rest and recharge and do it again. The views from every window are amazing, the communication from the property manager is easy, and the amenities are just what you need. Highly recommend this property and hopefully we will return to further explore the park!

Average home close to RMNP and Downtown

Pros: - Very clean - Spectacular views - Very quiet - Within 5 minutes of both the park entrance and downtown Cons: - Kitchen is not stocked; reading past reviews made it sound like it would have supplies to cook. We got there and there was only salt and pepper and the pans were chipping (we went and bought a pan after getting black flakes from the pan in our eggs) - Beds were comfortable but twin beds in one of the rooms rolled. I am an adult and almost fell out of the bed getting up in the morning because it rolled - Not much overhead lighting in the front room so very dark at night - Be aware there is no charcoal grilling

Excellent location and atmosphere

We greatly enjoyed this rental near the gates of Rocky Mountain National Park. There was a problem with the code lock that never got resolved, but the 800 number helped us get into the extra key. No one ever came to fix it, even though they said they were sending someone, so we used the single key our entire stay. One other issue: cabins in this area don't have a/c, so it got stuffy at night. We weren't sure whether it was safe to sleep with our windows open due to bears. A ceiling fan or two would have helped. But overall, it was lovely. The deck provides an awesome view, and the library and kitchen were well stocked with books and supplies. We'd definitely stay here again.

Amazing experience!

The cabin is cozy and decorated with rustic items from local shops. It’s stocked with all the essentials. The view of the mountains is spectacular. We saw deer, chipmunks, Steller jays, crows and nuthatches on the property. The hosts were easy to contact regarding my questions and requests prior to the trip, and responded promptly. The local is just out of town, so feels remote but is close enough you run to the local Safeway for groceries if you need to. Rocky Mountain National Park is very close by. The Stanley Hotel is right in town, and Lake Estes is pretty and right in town, as well. There are quite a few local shops to browse on the main street. We found a great restaurant for dinner one night - Hunters Chop House. They had multiple selections with wild game and the atmosphere and music were perfect for a dinner in the mountains. My sister and I could not have had a better time. The cabin was perfect and the whole experience in Estes was amazing. We would absolutely rent the cabin again- and even come back for the different seasons to see the changes of the trees and landscape every few months.
