This is a lock off from the main part of the house.

Our home is huge because we have a huge family! As the parents of 9 children we knew we had to have our own private retreat. Since five of our kids are in college, with only three at home, we decided to rent out half of our home to help meet expenses.
If you select this property you will have the access to two bedrooms that sleep up to 6, a full kitchen, two bathrooms, living area and two sets of washers and dryers. There is even a craft room full of supplies if your heart desires!

We built our home to accommodate my aging mother who hasn't aged enough to want to live with us! So we have two houses in one! With a lock off door in the middle of the house it gives our guests total privacy to their half of the house along with access to our amazing backyard. Guests will also have their own entrance and parking area.

The back yard has been designed and modeled after the Texas Hyatt Hill Country Resort. There is a 1/2 court basketball court, trampoline, new eight person hot tub, tether ball, and large tree house style playground with comfort rubber flooring. This back yard also features two areas of patio space with furniture, a large outdoor grill, and custom Texas fireplace for a night of cooking smores! Last, but certainly not least, are the two large, resort style, pools. One pool has a depth of 3',5',3' and the other pool is 9' all the way across. With swings, lounge seating and outdoor dining you may find yourselves outside the majority of your stay!

This house has limited availability. Located within walking distance to the LDS temple, it is also close to a large HEB grocery store, and many restaurants located in the Stone Oak area. The Retreat is also 20 minutes from Six Flags Fiesta Texas, and 35 minutes from Sea World. It is also located just 30 minutes from Canyon Lake, 25 minutes from downtown San Antonio, and 15 minutes from the airport. It is a beautiful centralized location if you are visiting the San Antonio area.

We also have a detached studio apartment available for $350 more a night, that includes a large room that sleeps 6 and another bathroom and dining table. At this time the studio does not have Internet or a TV but we hope to remedy that in the near future. Though built as a garage/apartment we have made it into an apartment with full AC and heating, a kitchen sink and its own bathroom.

If you choose to stay here there is a chance that part of my family and I will be staying in the other side of the house because this is our home. However, you are welcome to use the outdoor space at your leisure. We have a large parking pad and garage parking on that side of the house with it's own entry so you will not need to access our side of the house at all.
