In winter, Brittany also attracts lovers of rich, unspoilt nature, and the light is always superb.

Less than 1km from the "Réserve biologique de Trunvel-Tréogat" nature reserve, protected by the Conservatoire du Littoral, numerous birds, including some very rare species, come to shelter and feed in the reeds at the heart of the Etang de Trunvel.

In Tréogat, you'll find a rich historical heritage: crosses, steles and a church, as well as numerous hiking trails and the Route du Vent Solaire (Solar Wind Route).

In Penhors, swimming and water sports can be practised in complete safety at the Penhors spot in Pouldreuzic, which has been awarded the Blue Flag and Surf. CRS and SNSM lifeguards are on hand in July and August.

This famous spot is just 20 minutes from the Pointe de la Torche.

In the heart of the Bigouden region, Pont L'Abbé, with its Thursday morning market and numerous shops, is a 20-minute drive away; Penmarc'h with its famous Eckmühl lighthouse; Quimper and its Saint-Corentin cathedral are 30 minutes away; and the Pointe du Raz is just an hour's drive away for a breath of fresh air.
