You get what you pay for. Would not book again.
Our group of 5 adults booked this property for the Cannes Film Festival. Starting with the positive: The location was spectacular, and the price was great considering that we were booking during the festival. The location is a 8 minute walk away from the Croisette. It's a very central location, we had no trouble walking back and forth to the central Palais multiple times a day.
However, we were pretty shocked when we checked into the apartment, and our stay was highly uncomfortable. The sheets had some marks on them, so we had to ask the hosts to replace them. The windows are boarded up, so you do not get any light. I removed the boards from my bedroom, but the rest of the house was dark the whole trip. The downstairs bedroom (with the two twin beds) is damp and musty. The toilet is loud and there is no shower curtain. The upstairs bathroom is extremely tight. There was no hot water at night, so we had to alternate showers in the morning.
There was a smell that started to seep into the house at the end of our 7 day stay. We tried to air it out, but it was hard to get rid of.
Our group was made up of adults ages 32 - 49. We were highly uncomfortable our entire stay and on a few occasions considered moving our party to a hotel.
The unit managers removed our lockbox, which we were using to store our keys. When we asked for it back, they ignored my messages.
Even with subpar accommodations, we had the most amazing trip to Cannes. Overall, this works for the bare minimum.
