Very comfortable stay, can’t beat the location. Saw plenty of deer run thru the yard, really enjoyed sitting on the porch listening to the creek out front. Nice neighbors and Dan was very easy to contact. Would definitely stay here again!
Although it was really cold the house was warm and cozy, clean and just a quick drive to downtown. This was my second stay and I'm so happy I could bring my little furbaby with me. Thanks for helping make my stay fun!
I brought my 3 children to NC for skiing but the location was about a 30 minute drive to the slopes. Other than that, the house met our expectations and is very close to great restaurants, fast food and a Wal-mart.
It was beautiful on the inside, clean, well organized and stocked with all the necessary items in for a short stay. I loved the kitchen!
The yard was perfect for our dog and we loved the fire pit on our cold night. We hope to return someday. Thank you so much!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
Not as advertised
Very deceiving listing. Pictures and listing make you think the property is an old farmhouse on some acreage. Property is on a tiny city lot and the pictures do not show the almost unusable driveway that you share with the neighbor. The neighbor is right on top of you.

Nice interior bad exterior
The interior of the home is well done but the exterior needs work.
Overgrown grass and shrubs and just needs overall landscaping. The house is very dirty on the outside, and no chairs for the firepit area which also needs attention. Parking is very limited and poor visibility exiting out of either space.
We loved it there! Peaceful, clean and comfortable farmhouse with a great front porch... and not far from the Balsam entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway! We had questions about the thermostat and the owner responded right away.
The house was great. It was the perfect place to get away from the pressures of the world. Very spacious and clean, the decor is super cute. It feels like it's tucked away by itself but there are neighbors which I liked for security purposes. I loved this little house and would book it again.
A country home that has been remodeled inside. The owner has done a wonderful remodel! The place is spotless. There was coffee, tea spices and filtered water. The beds were comfortable and the towels were white, fluffy and oversized. It is in the country but close to everything. Walmart, Ingles, Belk restaurants. Had a relaxing stay! :)
All the comforts of home. Loves sitting on the front porch and listening to the babbling brook. Spent a month working remotely the home has everything we needed. Very relaxing
The property is a beautifully renovated farm house/cottage. The location is on a quite road with a few neighbors surrounding. Everything was very comfortable and relaxing.
We loved our stay! Myself, my partner, and some of his family rented the house for a family wedding in Waynesville. The house was beautifully updated, cozy, and located on a wonderful property. Our dogs enjoyed running around in the yard, which was spacious. We had a fire in the fire pit on a cold night, and enjoyed sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs. The house was well equipped with everything we needed, the beds were comfortable...it really could not have been any better! Thank you for providing such a memorable weekend for us!
we visited surrounding areas in the ashville area. we walked - hiked & drove around to see the leave
the house is absolutely inviting & amazingly decorated- beautifully & comfortably . it is impeccably clean & well stocked. daniel is available if anything comes up & willing to help out immediately( workers down the street knocked out power & internet). my husband called daniel re: internet & he came by quickly to fix- even tho my husband told him it was not a big deal-it was such a wonderful getaway.
we have a rather big suv & it was a bit hard to get into the driveway- i would take our smaller suv the next time we visit.
we will be back for sure!!
Stayed 3 nights for a respite trip. The house and restoration are beautiful. Loved the location and grounds. Daniel was very easy to work with and we will definitely come again.
We loved our 10- day stay at the beautifully renovated farmhouse! Comfy beds, peaceful brooks to enjoy from the covered front porch, kitchen had everything you could ask for, and Daniel was super quick to respond. We can't wait to go back and highly recommend to others who are looking for a great Waynesville get-away. Just minutes to downtown too!
We were there for a short weekend away from the kids. The property was very clean a appeared newly decorated. All the touches for a relaxing weekend were there: hammock by the stream, rocking chairs, fire pit, comfortable clean mix of modern and antiques. It is easy access to Waynesville downtown and the mountain activities. Neighbors were friendly too!
The owner was great to deal with!
The property was as advertised and very clean. We loved this place!
The only drawbacks were it did not have a dishwasher (but we ended up getting takeout anyway so that was not an issue) and the TV was a little difficult to figure out (probably because I’m not a custom to Google TV).
Otherwise this is a great place to stay!
Such an adorable place! Fully renovated with the feel of an old house, Daniel’s farmhouse is cozy and the perfect fit for our weekend away. 10
Minutes to get into Waynesville and just about 25 to get to Purchase Knob & Sylva.
