Great house in a great city
The house is very well taken care of and is in a great location! It's a short distance from pretty much all of the good stuff to do and enjoy in Portland. We loved our week in Portland, especially because of our stay in this house.

Great stay!
Great place for a group with lots of amenities! Only thing I’d say is that there should be adjustable coverings on the skylights or a warning so people know to bring sleep masks (especially for the upstairs master). Once the sun was up by 6AM in the summer, it was hard to keep sleeping

Back Cove Gem
This was the perfect home base for our trip to Portland. Minutes from the Back Cove trail, and a quick drive away from the Old Port area. Coveside Coffee is great coffee shop just a few houses down the street. The house itself is beautiful and was perfect for our family. The kitchen is well appointed and has everything you might need. The loft/study area is a great place to read and work. And we enjoyed move nights with the projector. Thanks to Aviva for being such a gracious host during our stay there!

Back Cove Home
Our stay at Aviva's place was perfect for our family of 4! We were welcomed with delicious local treats including popcorn, maple syrup and blueberry jam (which we ate every morning!). The kitchen was awesome and our girls loved eating at the breakfast bar. The chalk wall, games, crayons & paper, train tracks and more helped keep them occupied when we were getting ready in the morning or in between adventures throughout the day. It was a huge perk to have these awesome activities in the house for the kids!!! There was even recorded kids shows on the DVR...which also brings me to comment on the fun that was the TV projector! We were also so thankful to have A/C since there was a heat wave while we were there. And one of the best parts of staying at this house was the amazing location. We enjoyed take out from the awesome restaurants in the area (we LOVED Bird and Co and Maiz, and Coveside Coffee was conveniently steps away for my coffee loving husband), enjoyed the Back Cove trail down the street where the kids rode their bikes, and were a quick drive to breweries and downtown Portland. We couldn't have asked for a better week!

Wonderful location and amenities
All of the little “extras” and touches really made this stay perfect for us! From the guide book to games to items in the pantry we couldn’t have asked for a more rounded and lovely place. We felt right at home as soon as we walked in the door. We didn’t want to leave! Wonderful communication with the owners as well!

Beautiful, well appointed house perfect for families on a quiet residential street
What a delight to find this beautifully updated and spacious house in Portland’s Back Cove neighborhood! It was perfect for our family of four, which includes two teenagers. The house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood with lots of families, and there is a great 3.5 mile running/biking trail around the Back Cove that is just minutes from the house. When it comes to the house itself, Aviva has really thought of everything here! The new kitchen, which looks like it could grace the pages of a design magazine, is very well stocked. Our kids loved the sun-drenched loft for hanging out, and my husband also used it for doing some work while we were there. The beds are comfortable with soft linens and great pillows, there were plenty of nice towels, and also plenty of paper products (something you don’t often find in rentals). The projector in the living room was fun for watching movies at night. Aviva is a great host: communicative and helpful, and she even surprised us with a sweet welcome gift of Maine-sourced goodies. Her restaurant recommendations were terrific and we happily worked our way through her list. When we ran into a problem with the garbage disposal, she had a plumber come out the very next day. We can’t say enough great things about this find. We’d definitely stay here again on our next trip to Portland!

Perfect Back Cove Home!
Our Woodfords area home was perfect for my family of 4 plus my parents. The home is updated and beautifully decorated. It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We ate out most of the time so we didn't need much in the kitchen but it looked like it had anything we would have needed for a home cooked meal. The neighborhood was close to some great restaurants as well as the Old Port area and airport. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
