A quick one-minute walk to the sand, our beautifully remodeled beach house offers a haven where cherished memories are made. Located where Hollywood Beach and the Channels Islands Harbor meet, this stunning beach getaway is designed for families and friends to have unforgettable vacation experience.

An easy walk to numerous nearby restaurants, water activities, and entertainment, Bella Mare Beach House is your gateway to a fantastic vacation where you'll find something to delight in for every member of your family.

Large home sleeps 10 guests comfortably.

The spacious Kitchen, Family and Dining Rooms are all open to each other, creating a fantastic space to gather and have fun.

The kitchen has a huge island, 6 burner stove, plenty of pots and pans, and is well-stocked.

The large Primary Bedroom with en suite bathroom is located on the 2nd level. The huge shower is a guest-favorite. King Bed

Two bedrooms are located on the first level. One bedroom has a bunkbed with a full bed on the bottom, twin on the top plus a twin trundle bed. The 2nd bedroom on this level has a super comfy queen bed.

The 4th bedroom is located on the 3rd floor and features ocean views and a king size bed.

The large 3rd floor loft has a wet bar, beverage refrigerator, foosball table, pull out queen sofa, and incredible ocean and harbor views. Step outside to the awesome 3rd floor deck with cozy firepit, Blackstone griddle, and plenty of seating. There is also front balcony where with great water views.

We offer all the amenities you could want including a generously stocked kitchen, 6 beach cruiser bikes, 2-10' paddle boards, 3 surfboards, boogie boards, plenty of beach chairs/lounges, coolers, and so much more. Imagine reconnecting with your loved ones while sharing family meals, playing games, hanging out on the beach, going for long beach/harbor walks, and relaxing in the sunshine.

This is my family home and I love sharing it with others. My dream was to create a vacation home where family and friends come together under one roof, enjoy the beautiful beach and harbor (so much fun), have meals together, reconnect, relax, and create beautiful memories. I am happy to help you arrange activities such as surfing lessons, private chef dinners, and beach photo shoots. Stay with us and experience a 5 star vacation.

Family fun and wonderful memories

The house was absolutely beautiful, spotless, and had every convenience you could ever want. Comfy beds, room to be all together or cozy spots for reading and quiet time. It was perfect for our family reunion with our kids and grandkids. Close to everything, we enjoyed kayaking, bike riding, the Farmer’s Market, Duffy boats, paddle boarding, and boogie boarding. At the house we barbecued several nights on the great outside rooftop deck followed by dinner round the large dining table sharing our best parts of the day. We played games in the evenings (lots to choose from), and we all contributed to one of the jigsaw puzzles available. Several evenings we played volleyball on the sand courts close by. We laughed a lot as our competitions were long on enthusiasm and short on skill. Elizabeth was a kind and gracious host who responded immediately to any of our questions. We all agreed it was the our favorite vacation home.

A delight family vacation home

The house met all our needs. It was in excellent condition. We needed help with the gas bar b q range on the third floor. Elizabeth took care of it very quickly.. It was well equipped with beach equipment that all 8 of us used. We hope to rent this property again. What a delightful stay. I would highly recommend this property.

Amazing Stay

We had an fantastic time in this amazing beach home. Our family stayed here for seven days and from the beginning Elizabeth was fantastic to work with. She provided excellent references for our family to experience and the location was amazing, from a short walk to the Marina to a short walk to the beach. This home is immaculate from design, comfort and a chef’s kitchen. There were plenty of supplies from the kitchen to the beach toys. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next vacation here. Thank you Elizabeth.

The home was beautiful. Elizabeth checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, which was appreciated. Perfectly located between the harbor and the beach (just a couple minute walk to either). I enjoyed hearing the seals from the patio.

Just Fabulous!

We had a wonderful week staying at Bella Mare. The house is absolutely gorgeous and so clean. We had friends coming and going, visiting & each were equally impressed. The house accommodated my family of 4 (including 2 teens), my parents, and my brother and his family (1 baby). We walked to the harbor and beach daily. The weather all week was perfect. The owner, Elizabeth, was kind & very easy to communicate with. We can't wait to go back!

Family getaway

Excellent property with a great host. The location could not be better. The house had every amenity one could need and more from inside the house to outside to providing beach accessories. Great attention to detail, the layout worked perfectly for 3 small families, had a group of 9 and more than enough space for all of us. Well stocked kitchen and enjoyed large deck with BBQ. Would definitely visit again.

Beautiful and Relaxing

The house is perfect for a getaway or extended stay. The home was very clean and nicely decorated. The owner was very communicative before and during our stay. The kitchen was well equipped and cooking was fun. We have stayed in other homes and this house is our favorite. LOVE IT!!

Beautiful Beach Stay

House is spacious, stylish, and in excellent condition. Hosts have thought of all the nice touches that ensure guests feel comfortable and enjoy their stay. We especially liked the bikes, paddle boards, and the rooftop griddle. Proximity to the beach and harbor were great perks. Communications from host were helpful and kind.

Amazing property for extended family vacation

We had our annual summer vacation at Elizabeth's beautiful property. Every year, we rent a beach house in southern California. There are 10 of us - my boys, my sister and her family, and our parents. We always look for a property that has easy access to the water, restaurants, and activities. This property exceeded our expectations. She provided beach cruisers and paddleboards. Inside, there was a foosball table and TVs in every room (there's no cable, but they're all smart TVs to access all your shows). We loved spending time on the roof deck and balcony. This property came with everything! We highly recommend and look forward to visiting again!

This home is amazing. Incredibly well done and impeccably clean. The host is very attentive and easy to deal with. Exceeded our expectations. Fabulous beach house!

Fabulous beach house. Great location. Exactly as advertised. Communication with owner was excellent. This house is a great size for large family or multiple people sharing. The kitchen was the most well stocked I have ever seen in a rental. All instructions were very clear. Owner thought of every detail and even came by to address some very very minor issues. Highly recommend.

A week of Beach House Bliss

We stayed an entire week at this incredible beach house that is steps for the gorgeous white sand beach. The first thing our 3 year old son said when we arrived at the house was: “This place is beautiful is this our new home.” We could not have chosen a better place for our family reunion and this house was perfect for both adult time and entertaining two active preschoolers. No amenity is overlooked. We loved the family friendly and safe neighborhood and it was a great location for walks and kid scooter sessions down the dead-end street. Our host Elizabeth was the epitome of hospitality and assistance throughout our entire stay. She was highly engaged to ensure our stay was spectacular and was responsive to all outreach communication. As a Vrbo newbie, this was an amazing experience and this was all thanks to the care and thought that Elizabeth put into this place and care of her guests. This place will leave you wanting more vacation time and planning your next visit. A place that will not disappoint.

Great spring break for the family

The house was really wonderful! We were a short walk to the beach. The house was very spacious, beautifully decorated, with lots of amenities. The living room has a pretty view of channel and we watched sea lions swimming back and forth. This was a highlight for my boys, ages 12 and 8.

Better than you can even imagine

While the pictures of the rental are stunning, it's even better in person. The layout was ideal, and space was excellent for our large family to hang out. You can tell owner put a lot of thought into the place, and she really thought of everything! Kitchen is beautiful but also very functional, and our family enjoyed cooking meals together. Not to mention it was incredibly well stocked with every drawer labeled, making it quite seamless to find our way around. There were tons of puzzles and games, plus each room had something extra that only a super attentive host would think of. This would be the relative that everyone would want to visit and likely overstay their welcome. It feels like a home rather than a rental. The location was unbeatable, steps away from an uncrowded beach. We used lots of the bonus gear (beach cruisers, SUP, coolers, wagon for supplies, towels, beach chairs, toys for the kids). Host was very attentive and helpful. Couldn't have asked for a better stay and will most definitely visit again in the future!

Every detail was thoughtfully done - keeping in mind what someone would appreciate while on a family or friends vacation. My goal was to make Bella Mare a resort-like destination where guests can stay for a few days, a week, or longer and feel completely relaxed and have a great time. A place for family and friends to gather, enjoy making meals together in the gourmet kitchen, sit by the firepit on the deck after a fun-filled day playing on the beach, take bike rides, surf, paddle board, and spend quality time with loved ones.
