Beautiful home offering privacy on 7 acres with private pond
Peaceful home in Vermont’s Upper Valley. This is a beautiful three BR, two BA home offering privacy and relaxation on 7 acres.
In the spring, summer, and fall we welcome guests to bring their horses to access the beautiful GMHA trails. We have a three-stall barn with water, and electricity and two stalls open to a turnout. There is easy driveway access and parking for trailers. Dogs are also welcome.
Our home comfortably sleeps 6 adults or two families with kids. It has a fully equipped kitchen, two working fireplaces and free wifi. Outside we have a firepit, patio table, chairs, large weber grill, and seating area. There is a small pond, open fields and woods to enjoy. Every season offers a variety of outdoor activities nearby and on the property. We are located thirty minutes from downtown Woodstock and just a few minutes from the exceptional hiking and mountain biking trails on Mt. Ascutney.
There is one camera on the property hanging on the side of the garage. It displays the driveway and road to assist in monitoring snow removal and road conditions.

Very relaxing house, we all enjoyed the fireplaces and pellet stove and the well-equipped kitchen allowed us to cook beautiful meals. The property is gorgeous and neighbors are far away. This was the perfect place for a friends reunion/ski trip!

Beautiful house for a weekend getaway to go biking and hiking. The house was spotless and Megan was very accommodating and easy to communicate with.
We loved everything about your beautiful home! It was a great place to come to after a long day at GMHA! Thank you so much for sharing it with us!

The house was perfect for my family and I. We stayed for five nights to go skiing at Killington. The house was comfortable, clean, had a well stocked kitchen, and had extra tissues, paper towels, and toilet paper if needed. We stay at different places many times a year and having these extras is not always available. It was very nice not having to worry about those things. So many memories were made this week and I can't thank you enough for sharing your beautiful home with us. It was absolutely perfect! We will definitely stay here again.
We had just a few days at your property, Megan, but it was a lovely and serene experience. The home was warm and well-provisioned, and we had a great time. Thanks for everything.
What a perfect rental property! This home is tastefully decorated thoroughly appointed throughout! We could not have been happier with our brief but delightful stay! Our host Megan was fantastic and we would highly recommend this property for anyone looking to get a way from it all but still be very close to the necessities. GREAT PROPERTY & we can't wait to come back soon - hopefully for a longer stay!!
What a charming, beautifully maintained home and property! It was made all the better because we could bring our dog. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful. We also loved Brownsville Butcher and Pantry. Can't wait to return!
The property is incredibly peaceful and private, but in close proximity to many outdoor activities including mountain biking, hiking, and swimming. House itself was very comfortable and well appointed. We enjoyed our stay!
My husband and I and our golden doodle rented this beautiful home with a high school friend of mine and her husband. The two guys skied both days and my friend and I had a lovely time just hanging out catching up and walking nearby trails. Every detail had been thought of by our hosts, and many more! We wanted for nothing and our time was perfect in every way.
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! The house was perfect and had everything we could have possible wished for. The property manager was very responsive. We would definitely recommend this home to family and friends. Thank you for having us!
We had a great time. Beautiful location on top of a small hill that the kids went sledding on. Two families stayed there. House was very well supplied and host was very responsive. Would definitely stay there another time.
We visited over Christmas and the home was beautifully decorated with a Christmas tree and several poinsettias throughout which was such a nice and thoughtful touch!
All the small things were thought of and the home had everything we needed to be able to relax and enjoy the holiday with our family.
The road in was well maintained, even after an ice storm the town trucks were out first thing in the morning sanding and making sure vehicles could safely get through.
We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway any time of the year.
Beautiful location and home. Very relaxing and well-appointed home and property located within a short drive of many breweries, hiking trails, antique shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!
The location is spectacular. Great yard for the dog to sniff around in while you sit out in the cold and enjoy the fresh VT air. We hoped for some snow but mother-nature only gave us wind, we made the most of it hiking the grounds and enjoying a cozy fire. Short scenic drive to Woodstock. House was clean and very comfortable. So quiet and peaceful. Will be back.
The house was clean, well maintained as well as providing essentials you may not usually find, such as fresh spices in the cupboard and extra toilet paper and paper towels. Instructions were easy to follow as well to all appliances, etc. We were surprised with snow our last nite and the very next morning we were plowed out without even calling for help. Look forward to staying in the summer to enjoy the outdoor space.
We have stayed in many VRBOs but Megan’s home was the best yet. Off the beaten path with every amenity one could ask for. The kitchen was stock full of any utensil you might need. Fresh clean white bath towels, and bath products, comfortable beds, and lots of privacy.
We wanted to stay forever.
My family had an awesome time staying at this property. The home was exactly as described and the host was quick to respond to all questions. The property is nicely tucked away on a large lot. There is a pond at the front, great outdoor patio and deck, and a nice fire pit up from the house in the backyard. This is a great property for families with kids and dogs.
A beautiful spot in Vermont for a get away. The house has plenty of room and the property is quite large with a pond, firepit, open fields and places to hang out. Would definitely recommend.
